Ok this is not so done ! He felt as though he was kidnapped and put into some alien planet . A silence atmosphere with her around didn't seem good at all . Some uneasiness just kept residing him him throughout when he wasn't able to converse or even hear her voice.

He missed her weird talks  !!

Well, this challenge was turning out to be a more of a trouble not for her rather him .

'Why even did I challenge her ...?! '

He face palmed himslef and sat back on the couch to immediately feel her index finger poking his left shoulder. Annika was savouring the lunch which he had just served for her . She kept nudging him while chewing the food and he popped his brows reflexly in question.

Shivaay let an immediate chuckle  on watching her doing some actions . Only after a few more attempts she was able to show clear , he understood.  She was actually asking about the plan diagram drawn on the white sheet which he was holding.

S- this is for the new project .

Once again she drew patterns of  round with her finger over it and questioned for he replied immediately.

S- it's a residential apartment. 

Her face grew weird , she was totally confused  . He watched her in keen when she actioned that the plan didn't actually look like an apartment or a building even . Shivaay smiled at her noticing which she frowned .

S- these are just the interior blocks,  not the actual outlook . It might look like some random boxes but it's not just that.

As soon as he completed she brought her hand infront to action and claim her next question . Never did he loose his calm self , infact he admired her all the while when she showed those different signs with her hand .

One thing is certain . Nothing can stop the hyper her . A sense organ was put off for every other just beamed on to show the actual her . What if she's quite , she's being annika ! He suppressed his smile and narrated about the plan to answer her current question .

But still, he wanted her to stop . Wanted her to open her mouth and end this stupid challenge .

For annika , though it was the toughest task she somehow managed because if not voice then actions ofcourse ! Everything about her spontaneous attitude is keeping people around her engaged with whatsoever she does , in that case she was very well interacting with him now . She was doing good .

Her practise of pestering him happened with no harm , she went with the flow !

He waited for her to ask him to pick the glass of water kept aside when she coughed . He waited for her to break this dumb act . But before anything,  she herself peeped past him and gripped the glass . He was pissed off now .

And within seconds,  her loose fingers already betrayed to drop the glass by mistake. 

Shivaay closed his eyes and sighed knowing what just happened now , while she crushed her eyes in fear .

His sketch of plan has become a wet tissue now .

He  waited to know her next reaction while she just held both her ears for her eyes screamed apology simultaneously.

Annika kept her sight fixed on him keenly to only notice his blunt angry face , she feared and rubbed her tight fist over her heart as an action of apology.

She gasped a little when he stood up in a hurry and went away . Her eyes shrinked to small as she viewed the wet sheet once again.

Just when she was about to keep the plate aside and follow him, he was standing before her with a glass of water .

Her eyes just carried innocence as she stared him confusedly until he forwarded the glass to her .She emptied the glass with her sight just not leaving him throughout .

Shivaay refused to reply when she asked whether he wasn't angry on her.  His tight jaws mentioned that he has kept his teeth gritted. 

' ye Prince ko kya hogaya ? He's reacting as though I've blown the actual building in fire ! Arey, ye tho sirf plan hi tha na ? Maybe he forgot his own plan, and he can't design it the same way as like the previous time . Annika baby ...you're gone ! '

Her mind voice whined like anything. Having some hopes that he would deny , she actioned to question  whether he was still angry on her .

The last string of her confidence was also cut on watching him march to his room quickly without saying anything .

' annika ! gayi tum . What's so special about this maze puzzle ?! '

She took the sheet and held it right before her face to analyse it .

S- annika ! !

Annika wriggled out and dropped the sheet down hearing his sudden shout . She hurried inside their room .

S- what's this annika ? Why don't you ever  practice to arrange your things  properly ? See ...such a mess inside the cupboard.

Pointing those junk like clothes inside the cupboard , he screamed loudly .

He rolled his eyes and sighed on watching her actions, she was ready to argue now . How can I do things with one hand alone ? He grasped the meaning of her actions .

S- as if you were perfect before ! I want my drafter kit now ! How can I find it if you have dumped your things like this ?

His angry tone did no good to her . At one point , she composed herself and signalled him to wait .

He almost went insane when she stood by the cupboard and tried to fold those clothes with one hand .

S - ziddhi ladki !

He muttered below his voice. 

All his attempts to evoke the arguing attitude in her has gone in vain. He has failed.

She frowned when he snatched the clothes from her hand and did the work himslef .

Did she actually think that these messy stuffs would make him mad at her ? Seriously ?! Gone are those days when Shivaay used to demand perfection in everything .  Man he has got so used with everything that imperfection is not much a problem to him now . Ever since their wedding  , that's how it has been . Most of the time he would arrange her clothes , so these things hardly even mattered now . He mentally whined at his own failure , now and regarding the wet sheet either . That was his plan too . He thought that she would speak up, try to convince or argue with him but nothing happened.

Her sole foundation of attitude refused to wake up , for the first time . Such determination...he would name it as stubbornness though .

Why all these thoughts when the very reason for everything was he himself ? Do hell with the challenge , he sighed . It was going overboard now . Three hours and still not a word from her mouth . He arranged everything with a sad reaction on his face .

Om and gauri had just returned from the hospital after completing the regular check up.

G - I'll eat afterwards Om.

Om - fine .

He helped her lie on the bed , and left the room .

J - what did the Dr say Om ?

Jhanvi questioned when Om came to the dining area .

Om- sab teek hai maa . She and baby , both are healthy and fine .

Jhanvi did notice the dull reaction on his face , though his words seemed fine . Even pinky recognized it .

P- then why do you look so bothered Om ?

Om - nothing choti maa .

T - Om , baath kya hai ?

Om took a few moments before replying.

Om- I don't know Dad,  it's gauri.  She looks so carried out with thoughts these days . I think she's scared or I don't know.  I can't see her like this  .

As soon as Om admitted, Jhanvi spoke  caressing his head .

J- don't worry Om , it's normal . When the delivery date nears,  hota hai dar . It's not a big deal  , just think about how to make her happy...how to keep her engaged . She'll be fine .

T- deka ? Isliye meine kaha ki ham gauri ke godh barai function karlethey hain  . It's our duty to keep her contented , I'm sure she'll feel happy if we arrange something for her . Vo divert bhi hojayegi, but yahan tho none listens to me .

Silence prolonged for a moment until ,

P- you're right . We have to do this for gauri , usko acha lagega ! Haina Om ?

Om - yes choti maa  ,  par Shivaay and Annika ...?

Tej sighed and shook his head on hearing that .

J- we'll ask them to come here , ek din mei kya hojayega na?They'll come , we'll celebrate together don't worry.

Om and Pinky nodded agreeing to her .

Early night ,

S- Annika !! Where are you ?

He called for her when the power went off to scatter nothing but darkness everywhere .

S- annika enough! Where are you ?

On not getting any response , he shouted once again only to hear a knocking sound from inside the bedroom . He blinked hard  . She really has taken the challenge seriously !

S- don't roam here and there , just stay inside.  I'm coming with the candle ok ?

Knock knock.

His chest expanded and made him exhale in huge when he heard her reply in that way .

S- where's my damn phone !?

He muttered to himself as he traced his hand on the table but found nothing.

Then he somehow dragged himself to the kitchen and fetched a candle from there.

Making his way inside the bedroom , he lit the match stick which went off immediately. He tried once again and the same happened . The next trial also went in vain for he gritted his teeth and remained pissed off .

Calling every god for help , he stricked the stick over the box which immediately lit up to show something infront. He smiled  . His wife was actually here standing right infront of him . And he was so sure after watching her round mouth that she was the reason behind those sudden blows which occurred to stop his lited sticks. This time she didn't do it as he has already caught her .

S- kel rahi thi mere saath ?

She  bit her tongue and nodded slowly with a mischievous smile on her face and he couldn't help but go awe after watching the cute her .

S - sss !

He hissed and threw the stick when the fire burned it entirely to reach his skin at last .

A- shivaay !!

Her scream was heard before darkness surrounded again .  He rolled his tongue over his inner cheek while she caught hold of his hand and started blowing over his finger .

He smirked .

S - I'm ok , kuch nahi huwa .

A- aise kaise ? Are you that skeleton type man who comes in the ghost rider movie ?haath pe aag par muje kuch nahi huwa! Dikao ...swelling hojayega phir .

Finally , he felt ok . Her kind of talks , her kind of examples ....life seems normal again . Her grinned heartily , and within the next few seconds power came back .

She frowned watching his smile .

A- you do have a super power man ! How can you show your teeth in this situation? See it has started to swell up already aur tum

He interrupted immediately.

S- you loose annika .

Within no time she realized about what he was speaking , she crushed her eyes in defeat .

A- all because of that stupid match stick , nahi nahi stupid power . But you know , I held up somehow for hours ...with great difficulty.  So you can't completely declare my defeat ok !

S- really ? Rules are rules , the day isn't over yet and you already spoke out .

Annika pouted sadly when he announced this.

A- acha ...?fine . What should I do now ?

S-  time travel .

A- what ?!! You've  got that magic watch ?

S- which watch ?

A- like the one  they show in sci-fi movies...? Time travel matlab ?!

S- first be calm meri maa , let me complete please .

He pleaded when she started exclaiming for she nodded and kept quite .

Annika stared at him while he held her shoulders and made her sit on the bed . She was baffled when he watched her intently with no exchange of words for a few moments until,

S- annika ... it's my birthday today and you're going to wish me . Forget everything which happened  or just think that our quarrel and my stupid act didn't occur only. Tum muje wish karne waali ho , that's it .

She looked blank . She didn't expect this coming certainly.

A- shivaay...I  , I don't know . Ye kaise ...gift bi

S- did I ask for gifts ?  It's my birthday today .Just speak a wish annika , speak what you feel .

He stressed looking into her eyes.

Annika caught hold of his hand and made him sit , facing her .

A- birthday matlab , birthday boy ko kush karna hai .

Still having her sight fixed on their clasped hands  , she started speaking.

A- the happiness which I believe in is ...the feel you get when you come to know  ki zindagi mei kuch bi hojaye, kuch bi ! ... par ek insaan,  ek insaan hai jo hamesha tumhare liye tumhare saath kadi rehtha hai . I will be that one person in your life shivaay , whatever you do whatever decisions you make ...whatever  happens , ye , kabi nahi badhlega.

She gripped his hand in firm while emphasising her words . Shivaay stayed quite and kept staring at her knowing that there was more.

A- you know something shivaay ? I was ready to leave the city and go somewhere after your wedding with charu , like  ,back then ...I had that plan actually you won't believe. To be frank I wasn't able to deal with that truth , ki tum kissi aur se ...I know feelings weren't mutual but still I cou...couldn't just...!

Her statement certainly shocked him , she wanted to leave...?! His eyes remained glued on her .

A- mine ...may seem like love at first sight , might look illogical too ,but mein kya karoon ? Ehsaas hogayi muje , I really felt something for you .

Shivaay couldn't control anymore , he just wanted to shout his love and take her in his arms already.

S- annika mein bhi

Immediately she pressed her finger on his lips.

A- shhh,  I haven't completed yet. Uske baadh , we...I mean we both got married . Thanks to that monkey Adi  ! I got lucky and I got married to my Prince ....prince ! that's what you have always been (she chuckled)  Maybe , if Adi didn't do anything that day , my life ...life would have been different and you'd have been more happy ...with your friend ,as like you wanted . But aisa kuch huwa nahi, so mein kush hoon ab ... I didn't know whether I felt the same on our wedding , but ab...selfishly kush hoon mein . That much special you are to me aur aaj  ...it's your birthday today and mere liye ye bahut hi khaas din hai . So...

She stretched the word and looked by side to fetch a pink rose from the vase while all the time his glistened eyes just didn't leave her only .

A- Happy birthday Prince.

Came her sweet voice. With a light beautiful grin on her face , she gave him the flower with all the love held in her eyes.

He took a few seconds to come out of his world and accept the rose from her .

Indeed,  she made him so happy .  He expected this actually , when it's annika in the game , no gift can claim high rank when compared to her words. So he actually knew she would wish him with some cute speech , but this....! This made him feel so contented , so happy . As she said , he was joyous for having her by side always no matter what happens.

Shivaay demanded her wish because only he knew how much he had suffered from within of not  having heard her wish the other day . He wanted to heal himslef , that's why he asked her for a wish and she has already swept his heart like anything by now .

He was very sure to make her feel the same , feel the same happiness which he's enjoying right now . But , he decided not to propose her now .

"more happy with your friend charu "

This somewhere shouted her insecure feel clearly. Does she really think that way ...like she's not more special than charu for him ? How crazy she can even be ?!

He was determined to wipe that insecurity in her,  show her what she certainly means to him .

' I need to plan something '  he thought.

You flew off with the wings of my heart and left me flightless 💘
