His elbow still bled to bring pain in him , at some point he found it really difficult to grip onto the wheels and decided to stop infront of the pharmacy .

The owner was busy writing some stuffs on the register and ordered the girl to get the things . He recieved a call just then.

Shivaay peeped in to see if the girl brought it but seemed like she was still searching for the last product , he waited .

' Yes baiya ,haan , we have ordered for a new fan ,yes , in that SR showroom . Luckily she got safe , if she had been in that room then ...I can't even imagine it . Thank god !'

This started disturbing shivaay , the woman went on and on about luck , timing and all . He couldn't stand it for some certain reason .

' you just got lucky with time shivaay , if I had been here at that time...' Shivaay felt his head bursting out in pain . Already he was very much frustrated and enraged with whatever happened at the clinic and now this kept  reminding the same again and again .

At one point he just turned back and walked out from there hurriedly. Noticing it the owner hung up and called for him .

' sir , sir ! '

A - charu , help karna !

C - oh god , your highness ! Aapke shaadi nahi horahi hai yahan  , you should be the one helping me .

Charu commented while helping her in fixing the hooks while annika twisted her mouth and frowned .

A- was there even a time you can name as my wedding ? Thab bi aur ab bi , I'm running behind you with all your stuffs,  from mobile , water,  touch up kit and what not while you roam around in peace at the function .

Charu blinked slowly and remained quiet knowing there's no reply she could give for this .

A - bolo na ab , why this pin drop silence now , Exam chalrahi hai ?

C - uhh...my ,the earing is missing.  Doond na

Annika cringed at the way she tried to distract her .

A- which one ?

C - the green stud

A- have you gone blind charu ?

Charu widened her eyes when annika asked pointing her own ears which had the green stud on it .

C - annika , what will I use now , give it back!

A- no way I want this , What happened to your red one ?

C - hey ani please haan , I like this one . Tu , tu red try karna haan ? I'm sure you'd like it .

Annika kept shaking her head while charu pleaded her , soon there was a call for annika .

A- nahi ...hey ek ek minute, look monkey's here one second.

C - annika,  please yaar it's time already

A- charu dog who told you to choose red then ? I won't give mine.

C - I thought it would be nice annika but

A- haan deka dramaqueen and what you just said ," I'm sure you'd like it annika " Gorilla !

C - annika...!

Ad - annika what did you do to my charu?

Only then annika remembered she had already attended the call long back .

A- I'll kill you monkey,  I did nothing. Ek earing ke liye ro rahi hai .

Ad - tho dho na ,so sad of my charu.

Annika narrowed her eyes and cursed him mentally while her sight stayed on her sister who was busy pretending way too desperate for the stud. Sighing she quickly removed them and passed it to her .

A- here , kingkongka! Hereafter I will never come shopping with you so that you know nothing of what I buy and vice versa. That'll be justice for both of us . What I buy is for me and only me !

Charu hardly seemed bothered , she grabbed the studs from her and wore them .

C - see , it suits me better .

Annika was really pissed off with her sister now.

A - Monkey jiju please take my sister and vanish off somewhere you both , jald se jald!

Ad - my pleasure ,

A - bye !

She shouted suddenly and was about to hang up but he protested.

Ad - annika annika , wait !

A- hmm !

Ad- I've sent you my picture ...show

Annika instantly checked the picture without fully listening to what he had to say .

A- haan , you look like some shaggy sunflower boy.

Ad - annika !

She took the phone far from her ear when he whined in that high pitched tone .

A- why are you playing a kingkong now ? Volume down monkey .

Ad - I need Charu's comments not yours .

A- tho you should've called her !

Ad - haa par mom said I shouldn't see or talk to her till the wedding .

A- momma ki bache , as if ! Wait

She then dragged charu close and showed her his picture.  Charu grinned rising her brows on seeing it .

A- she ran to the washroom to puke,  I guess she doesn't like it  aah!!

She winced aloud when charu pinched her arm and snatched the mobile from her .

Ad - kya ? Actually ye dress charu ne select kiya tha mere liye and ab

C - my dear Aditya ,  dare you call this girl again . Kuch bi ho , dial for me and haan

Annika rolled her eyes as charu walked out continuing  her so very sweet conversation with Adi . That's when oreo ran inside as the door went open just now , annika welcomed him with a bright smile and carried him .

A - hi baby , why do you look so sad ,paining still ? Teek hai kuch nahi ,kuch nahi .

She kept caressing his head and made her way out to see shivaay seated on the couch . Meena nudged her shoulder and passed  a glass of juice .

A- finally , you're a saviour maa .

M- it's for shivaay .

Annika's face fell in defeat,  she went and sat beside him lazily while he was found checking his mail box on the phone .

A- shivaay

He shook his head when she gave him the glass .

A- nahi chahiye ...?

S - haa

A- haa ya na man !

He quickly grabbed the glass from her and pressed it's mouth to her lips for she gulped the content showing him a thumbs up .

Annika enjoyed the day best , she dumped all the haldi on charu as she had always planned . Charu didn't remain idle and tried doing the same to her for both the sisters ended up like some real yellow monsters at the end of the ritual .

A- this looks good,  I'll send him this.

C - where does it even look like me annika , no .

A- your face is hidden beneath this haldhi forest , what will I do ?

C - what will I do ...really annika !

Charu frowned keeping her hands on both sides of her hip while annika gulped deep and whined suddenly.

A- ahh ...! Charu , charu my eyes , they're burning again .

C- drama bandh kar annika.

A- promise behna , come with me . Muje wash karni hai , sss !!

C - you enjoyed  torturing  me thoroughly na , saho ab  .

A - charu , you're a devil !

Shouting this in her ear she ran to the washroom at once . Here charu shook her head in disbelief and went downstairs to fetch shivaay .

C - annika is searching for you.

S - I've got work here ,uncle asked me to check if everything is going fine at the venue. Jaana hai muje

C- number 1 entrepreneur of the year is here , working hard for my marriage...wow I feel proud !

S-if you owned the tag of ani's sister alone I'd have sat back and enjoyed the perks of being the first son in law of this house ,par kya karun  meri friend ho chukki ho . So... chaltha hai .

Charu chuckled when shivaay narrated the odds  .

C -kuch bi , now go see your wife , her eyes are hurting again it seems.

He stopped whatever he was doing right then .

S- I kept on warning you both to not go overboard with that haldi and still this girl ,...where's she now ?

C - room .

He sighed deeply and soon ran upstairs .

She kept her chin rose up for the fresh shower hit her face directly, shivaay came in and saw this .

S- annika

A- ohh thank god , come here , help me wash this mess .

S- didn't I tell you this would happen ?

He leant back on the door and spoke with a stiff face while she frowned like a kid .

A- shivaay I'm ready to debate with you about this all day but now is not the time , please .

Shivaay then filled a mug with water and went near her . She kept rubbing her face to remove all the content, just then he held her hand and brought it down. As soon as the shower stopped she opened her eyes to immediately feel a hard splash of water on her face .

A- oh wait,  ufff ... slower

S - force helps , chup raho tum

Saying this he once again splashed some more water , she kept blinking continuously while he repeated the drill again and again .

A- shower was good, this ...is

S- shower was good matlab,  you won't ever come out of this room  then . Udhar kya hai , idhar deko ani , I'm fully drenched already , how will I go now , Why don't you listen to me ever ?

He alarmed her when she kept turning here and there . She then  pretended to stay in attention and he pressed the towel on her face to wipe the wetness  completely .

A- papa's shirt doon?

She asked this with a mischievous smile , but he looked serious though .

S - bas , ok now ?

Holding her chin within both his palms , he enquired and she passed a quick nod for it. Suddenly she noticed a few droplets of blood on the floor which changed the color of water in that area . It's his arm which is bleeding , she tracked it soon and pulled the sleeve of his shirt .

S- it's nothing, come with me now

She was shocked on witnessing that severe wound on his left elbow .

A- shivaay , first aid bi nahi kiya tumne ? Kaise...huwa

Her reactions  changed from confusion to anger for she caught his wrist and dragged him outside.  Shivaay sat on the bed while she was in process of fetching the first aid kit .

A- talks and taunts as if your the mighty lord of this whole universe par kaam tho deko,  does all kind of stupid stuffs .

S- annika

A- shut up shivaay

S- sss  ss !

He winced as she pressed the cotton on his skin harshly but she just glared and chose not to slow down .

A- what happened?

Shivaay kept staring at her keenly without giving an answer which irked her .

A- shivaay !

S - uhh...small accident on the way

A- kahi aur lagi hai ?

Her eyes wandered all over him to check thoroughly , he immediately shook his head to convince her . Annika exhaled a huge sigh of relief and started talking again .

A- be careful man , luckily zyada nahi lagi , thank god for that .

His jaws tightened by their own when he heard the same word again . She kept blowing over his skin while shivaay stared at nothing but her . His deep eyes mentioned something serious was running within him , she noticed it and tried  to distract him .

A- shivaay,  ye dress yaad hai tumhe ?

S- hmm ?

He snapped out of his thoughts and looked down to notice her dress . She pouted showing some cute anger when he shook his head slowly .

A- how can you forget that important day shivaay ! I was wearing this same dress then , ok clue deti hoon , Sangeet

He remained quiet in process of penetrating into his memory seeking the answer. She sighed in disappointment and threw her arms around his neck .

A- mein , Annika , gathered every ounce of courage in me to stand infront and confess my love to you for the very first time . Last year sangeet yaad nahi hai ?

Shivaay felt an immediate comfort after hearing this . He felt as if she gave his pain an impulse and she herself just tended to it smoothly . Ofcourse circumstances made him take the decision but annika's feelings for him was , is something which stays crucially static throughout. She changed him into what he's now and he loves her more than much she could actually think or imagine . His restless mind turned calm soon , he didn't feel insecure anymore because theres no need to think about luck and circumstances anymore because love is what is keeping them bound together now . There's no need to fear of what would have happened otherwise or orelse .

S- you loved me then too right?

He smiled asking this but she was really confused by the way he behaved .

A- what happened to you ? You're not ok .

She asked grazing her palm over his face while he neared to settle his chin on her shoulder and snaked her waist to keep her hugged .

S- now , I'm good .

He snuggled closer to feel her skin , she already knew that something was bothering him . For now she decided to comfort him and planted a kiss on his forehead . She noticed how cutely he smiled , just like small baby .

A- shivaay I thought of staying here for a few days after the wedding  

S- why!

She bit her lips to hold that smile when he shouted like that suddenly.

A- suddenly they both will feel alone here , tho , just for few days .

S- but you can visit them everyday right ? and

A- awww! Prince itna miss kiya muje?

Shivaay frowned at her after just realizing that she was pretending all this time . He tried to move from there but she caught him earlier .

S- chod I've got work .

A- teek hai teek hai sorry,

She pecked his lips once to pamper him but he didn't let go of her that easily and started smooching her lips . Her eyes widened the first few seconds before she settled down and maintained the flow .  As much as she tried, shivaay wasn't ready to let her lead , he ran his fingers into her hair and sucked those pink lip  hard as if they were his toffees.

Annika touched his shoulder to have something in grip , shivaay pressed her back with his other hand so that she lands even close and into him. Her hands slowly crawled and grabbed his collar within them .

The room was filled with strong breathing sound as both set back to respirate . She didn't dare to look up , feeling his intense gaze on her . Soon that netted shawl which lied on her  front dropped by slowly revealing the broad portion of her wet skin there .  Annika gripped the cloth and before she could put it back on shivaay held her hand and relieved her fingers one by one from having that fabric grasped . It gradually slid from her lap and fell down for he had attacked her neck already .

She gasped a bit and arched back , shivaay inched close and grazed his nose over that hard collar bone of her's . Annika's chest movement remained slow and steady as she could hardly breathe with him kissing all those sweet spots there . The tension grew wild and she had grabbed his hair already  as if she was trying to press him close . Shivaay traced his lips slowly on the soft skin while planting a few kisses here and there . Her wet skin kind of soothed his lips for he was now ready to pull that thin strap of her kurti down and claim a more of her. Her other hand kept crawling on him seeking a tight spot to grip on and that's when she pressed his elbow by mistake.

S - ahh !

He winced shaking his arm .

A- sss sorry sorry.

She quickly pulled his arm and blew over the wound while he maintained his pointed stare still. Annika noticed it but pretended ignorant , soon he was found making his move again. She bent  back when he leaned close , and soon she got herself laid on the bed , still he wouldn't slow down though . Her eyes kept wavering between his  orbs and at one point she had closed them tightly after sensing him  almost on her .

S- ani

It was a low whisper which he made , she opened her eyes and looked at him just to get annoyed soon . He was holding that damn eye drops on his hand , that sheepish smile he made said it all .

A- poor climax !

She commented twisting her lips while he did the job.

S- don't move ...annika stay

He pressed her to the bed when she kept moving her head .

S- rest now .

Annika frowned and remained grumpy on hearing his fading footsteps . Poor she didn't know that her prince had faked that, he was here still ,  standing right beside and adoring his wife .

A- Chala gaya bade dosth ka farz nibane waala...

As soon as she finished , he surprised her with  a tender  kiss on her forehead .  She was about to open her eyes but he palmed them and didn't allow her to do so.

A- nautanki!

S- thank you annika

Her reactions changed when she heard these words .

A- kya hogaya tumhe , nahi something has happened . And suddenly thanks kyun ? First aid ke liye ? mein koi nurse hoon ,ya  ham aaj hi mile hai kya ? We've spent almost a year together man , ye thanks banks muje nahi chahiye ...you're listening right,  shivaay ...shi

Annika let a huge sigh on realizing something and opened her eyes  to confirm her guess was right .  He had left long before .

Next day

C -  properly annika !

Annika who was holding all the pleats together slowly moved her eyes towards charu  and glared .

A- charu I barely got ready , but still I'm helping you so shut your mouth and keep quiet now .

C - shaadi meri hai, why should you get ready .

A- tho ,shall I come and stand on the stage with pyjamas then ? Moreover aaj meri bi anniversary hai , special day it is .

C - haina ...! Did he wish you ?

A- not yet , papa's keeping him too busy I guess . Didi yahaan ek pin ,

' haan one second '

The makeup artist passed her the pin and she clasped it correctly .

C - maybe he has planned some surprise, 

A- really !

C - I think he

She interrupted her inbetween and attended the call, it was from the Dean .

A- hello Doctor .

' Annika , you have arjun's address ?'

A- address...I think I can check in the pdf docs , why Dr,Any problem ?

Charu stopped her work and stared at annika keenly .

' I need you here , at his home now .'

Annika didn't know what to say , she watched charu with the same perplexed face .

C- what ?

Annika signalled her to wait .

A- what happened Doctor? Is he , is he alright?

' your patient is not in a good condition, you have to be here Dr.Annika . Do your duty '

She was totally confused  , he sounded clearly angry .

A- uhh ...ok Doctor I I'll come.

The beep sound was heard soon .

C- don't you dare annika !

Charu gave an immediate warning while annika shook her head helplessly.

A- 1 hour , haan 1 hour that's it  .

C - annika I'm going to break your head now .

A- charuka ! Duty comes first for Doctors , cops , even fireflies

' firefighters '

The hairdresser chuckled once before  correcting her immediately.

A- haan haan , vahi fighters, didi ...aap bi ! Wait for me haan , I need a French plait.

C - annika I'm calling papa

A - hey please please , charu I'll be back very soon I promise .

She insisted pinching her throat and charu just wriggled out of her hold  to jolt off .

A- sorry behna , some emergency case I guess . Dean himself has called me , sorry haan .

She kissed her cheek before running out in hurry while charu looked at  her in worry.

Annika was thrilled on finding  a badly injured Arjun who was lying asleep on the bed . The Dean who sat beside him scowled at annika as soon as she entered in . He signalled her to come outside the room , she obeyed him at once.

A- what ...why is he like this Doctor ?

' your husband did this to him '

Annika was shocked after hearing this .

A- what ! I'm sure your mistaken Doctor , shivaay...why would he ...

' arjun is my cousin's son '

This came as another shaking news to her , she stared at him keenly knowing there was more .

' that's why I put him in your hands thinking you'd do the best for him , but...'

A- Dr , Dr please , what happened? Shivaay wouldn't have

He interrupted her soon .

' he beat him at his clinic yesterday '

A- clinic...

Only then she remembered oreo's appointment and all that , but still why would he beat arjun ...? She was bewildered.

' I  randomly visited him yesterday and you know in what condition he was left there ? How can your husband do this Doctor !'

A- but...shivaay wouldn't

' arjun lied saying that he fell from the stairs, I didn't buy it though . When I checked the CCTV I found the footage of shivaay beating him brutally . Security ne muje sab kuch bathaya ...arjun...I...I don't know ki mein kya karun he's already in so much pain because of chemo and ab ye '

He stopped right there after realizing what he just said,  and annika on the other side grew terrified on listening to his last few words . There was a long pause .

' yes ,he's a cancer patient '
