I.
I am a living paradox
The thought is such an unorthodox
To me, it is not always black and white
There's always that blurry line, and I guess that's alright

II.

I hear people say, having one loyal friend is enough
And they are right, I completely agree
However, finding one might be too tough
So maybe two or three will do for me

III.
And hey, having a squad doesn't sound so bad

But a group of fifteen or more would drive me mad
Imagine, a big surprise birthday party just for me
The more the merrier! Isn't that the decree?

IV.
School is so restrictive and demanding

They teach all the difficult stuff, it gets harder attending
But without school, life is so dull and boring
Can we get back to class please? I'd like to stop snoring!

V.
M

y favorite color is blue! It's so tranquil to see
But you know what I hate the most? The sea
I love the trees more, it brings inner peace to me
Hearing the rustle is so relaxing, don't you dare disagree!

VI.

I fantasize what life will be like to have a family
It's nice to have someone who will love you so tenderly
But it scares me to think to go through kissing and pregnancy
Is that normal? Or am I a discrepancy?

VII.
E

verything is not all black and white
And you know what, that is not alright
Because the Bible teaches a completely different thing
So maybe to my differences, I will not cling

VIII.
H

aving few or many friends is okay
God teaches us to make connections and to love others
But to what the world teaches, don't be led astray
Always remember the friend that sticketh closer than a brother

IX.

Having the right attitude in school is important
Because it's not about me, my grades, or performance
It's about helping my classmates know more of my creator
To let them know He is loving and not a dictator

X.

God created all things bright and beautiful
No matter what part I enjoy and admire,
The message of hope and peace is ample
Once received, it will set my love for God afire

XI.
G

od is my father and is all the family I need
However, having one on my own is my choice
Fearing what it brings is wrong, I concede
If it comes, it's a blessing, and I will rejoice!

XII.

Jesus is the one who brought my two sides at peace
Looking at the gray lines, that I must cease
For what God teaches is impeccable and true
And there's no need to look at things askew

XIII.

Praise God for He made things bright and clear
Thus to His teachings, I must adhere
And to those who are living paradoxes like me
Read your Bible! Transformation and joy is a guarantee
