"Doctor!" Amy yelled, making the Doctor jump from under the console where he was tinkering with the TARDIS.

The Doctor jumped out from under the console looking over to Amy who alike to usual was adorned in her converse and denim mini skirt. Both Amy and I had been sitting bored for the past two hours while the Doctor worked on the TARDIS.

A few minutes ago I had stumbled across a book called the 'Intrepid Universe Traveler Handbook' and given it to Amy for her to read. I looked over, curious as to what she found.

"It says here in the Intrepid Universe Traveler Handbook that if you want to properly call yourself a space traveler you're supposed to have an adventure at least once a week." Hearing those words, the Doctor's brows shot up in disbelief as he raced over to Amy taking the book from her hands.

"What! This is rubbish!" The Doctor cried, pacing about, Amy trying to take the book back as he flipped through it furiously. "Where'd you even come across this... this nonsense!" He said, Amy finally taking the book out of his hands, the Doctor turning to her wildly.

Amy waved the book around, before pointing to where I sat on the chair upside down playing with the laces of my boots in a bored manner. The Doctor followed her finger, our eyes clashing as I quickly say upright.

"How did you find this!" The Doctor demanded, making me snicker as he crossed over to stand in front of me.

"It was just sitting on the console," I shrugged, pointing where I found it on the large engine. "Besides, we haven't gone on an adventure in ages." The Doctor snorted at my words, turning to look at his controls.

"By ages, you mean since last night?" The Doctor referred to when he took us to Hawaii to go whale-watching and he somehow ended up swimming with them.

"Yes!" Amy exclaimed backing me up. "Ages!"

The Doctor scoffed pointing his sonic to the TARDIS console. "Fine, adventure it is!" He yelled, albeit excitedly.

When he clicked buttons to his screwdriver, the console table sparked and the TARDIS shook sending me flying out of the chair and to the ground. With a huff, I got to my knees glaring at the Doctor who scrambled around his controls.

"What was that!" I yelled, beginning to stand with the help of the railings.

"Exactly what you asked me to do, I set the TARDIS to adventure setting." He pulled a lever causing me to go flying to the ground once more.

"Ow!–the TARDIS doesn't even have an adventure setting, what did you do!?" I wailed, Amy looking to the Doctor with wide eyes at my words.

The Doctor scowled at my form which was standing from the ground. "How could you possibly know that?"

Throwing my hands in the air, I motioned around us. "I read the manual!"

"But I threw it in a supernova!"

"Before that, idiot!"

"Why didn't you just let me teach you all the mechanisms, the manual sucked!"

"You don't even know what you're doing ninety-percent of the time!"

"What! I only don't know what I'm doing seventy-percent of the time!"

"That's not any better! Why would you even admit to that, that literally does not help your argument."

"Well, excuse me for not wanting to lie, unlike some people."

"You callin' me a liar!?"

The Doctor snickered at me, shaking his head. "Well, I'm not calling you a truther."

The Doctor and I's squabbling was cut short by the TARDIS sparking and shaking once more, me luckily holding onto the handrails so I wasn't thrown to the ground again.

"Are you sure you didn't set it to the 'kill us setting'?" Amy asked the Doctor who shook his head, running around the gears.

"Now, that was meant to happen!" He said much to our disbelief as the TARDIS suddenly smoked up in the area he was standing.

Amy and I watched with hints of amusement as the Doctor coughed, sputtering back from the smoke that soon went away. I erupted with laughter at the sight of the Doctor's soot-covered face and wild hair which stuck up in many different directions.

"That was meant to happen too!" He rushed an excuse, cheeks going pink.

"Oh, I'm sure was." I smiled at the Doctor, Amy barking with laughter from behind me.

"Maybe I should take it down just a smidge." He coughed, earning a nod from me as he pulled a lever causing the TARDIS to moan and shake.

Amy and I quickly grabbed onto the console, the Doctor doing the same from the other side of us. We looked around wildly, Amy meets the Doctor's gaze fiercely.

"What was that?" She asked the question that had been on both our minds.

The Doctor raced around, twisting multiple knobs. "Systems malfunctioning, TARDIS crashing!" The Doctor yelled, making me glower at him.

"Why is it that half the time when you drive, the TARDIS ends up crashing in some way?" I asked, the Doctor only shrugging.

"I believe it's a talent of mine!"

"No, Doctor! That is not a talent!"

"Don't worry!" The Doctor exclaimed. "The TARDIS is going down in three, two, one!" Amy and I both screamed as the TARDIS hit the ground, Amy being thrown to the floor and me actually falling over the edge of the railing.

"EFFIE!" I heard the Doctor yell as I flew over the edge, landing harshly on my backside knocking the wind out of me.

Within seconds, the Doctor came down after me helping me stand up. "You're okay, you're fine." He soothed, me cringing at the soreness of my back.

"Yep, I'm all good." I followed after the Doctor, the two of us meeting by Amy in front of the scanner.

"So where are we?" She questioned the Doctor, who started typing something on the console.

"Hmm...." He trailed off, glancing at the scanner once more. "I'm not quite sure, but it would appear as if..." He eyes widened suddenly going to the TARDIS door. "That we've landed in the middle of an Olympic running track!" At his words, the TARDIS doors suddenly burst open and a dark-skinned man holding what I believed to be known as an Olympic flame barreling through.

He was out of breath, the sound of cheering accompanying him as the Doctor, Amy, and I all looked at the dude with huge eyes. The man looked around, mouth dropped in shock at the TARDIS.

His gaze suddenly landed on us, himself still out of breath. "Where am I?" He asked, the roaring cheers still coming from what I could tell was the Olympic stadium outside. "And what the heck's happened to your hair?" He pointed to the Doctor's wild hair.

The Doctor rubbed his hands together, moving slightly closer to the dude. "Yes, okay, from the look of you, you're an Olympic torch bearer, London 2012 if I'm not mistaken?" He asked, making the man who was looking around the console room in shock nod.

Okay, so about five years before my current time, and two years before I met the Guardians.

"I'm the Doctor, this is Amy, that's Effie, and this is my spaceship the TARDIS. Oh, and my hair, well... that's a story for another time." The Doctor smiled as the man used his hand which wasn't holding a huge torch to point to the Doctor.

"Wait, there was something chasing me, that's why I didn't see your... box." He looked around once more, before turning around.

My eyes widened at the sight of a weeping angel appearing just a few away from the dude, most likely coming in through the open doors of the TARDIS. The Doctor and Amy both jumped seeing exactly this too, the both of them beginning to stare it down intensely.

"Don't blink." The Doctor and Amy both said at the same time, their voice synchronized.

Rolling my eyes, I inaudibly scoffed at the two finding their panic for these creatures ridiculous. Then again, I suppose if I wasn't half Asgardian or the Goddess of Fire for the matter, then I'd probably be panicked too.

All the sudden, the torch which was previously in the dude's hands was suddenly being held by the stone statue which now stood mouth agape revealing rows and rows of sharp stone teeth.

"What the hell is it doing?" I crossed my arms, raising an unimpressed brow at the weeping angel, the Doctor briefly turning to glare at me, but quickly turning back around to stare at the thing.

"It's trying to steal the Olympic flame, to destroy the very spirit of respect, excellence, and friendship it represents." The Doctor brought out his sonic screwdriver pointing it at the angel. "Well, at least it's trying to." He smiled, putting his screwdriver on a setting that would destroy the angel.

He pointed it at the angel all of us watching as the stone cracked with light before finally the weeping angel shattered into nothingness the Olympic flame it was holding beginning to fall. However, before it hit the ground the Olympic running dude reached out just gripping the torch before it could hit the ground.

The Doctor smiled, throwing his screwdriver in the air with a flip before placing it back in the pockets of his jacket.

"Wow!" The Olympic guy smiled, turning to face us. "Thanks, Doctor, better get going though. I've got to land the Olympic flame." The dude suddenly pulled out a gold medal from his pockets. "Here," He threw it to the Doctor who caught it with a smile. "You deserve that." The Doctor smiled, putting it around his neck examining the gold with a smile.

"Oh, thank you." The Doctor smiled, the Olympic runner waving at us before leaving the TARDIS in a hurry.

"Good as gold you are, Doctor." Were his last words before he was gone, the doors shutting behind him.

Clapping his hands, the Doctor spun around to face us. "Ah, yeah where were we? Oh, that's right, adventure!" He exclaimed rushing around the controls causing us to go into flight again.

"Oooh! I know!" Amy shouted as we held onto the console panel. "Let's go to Vegas! Always wanted to go there!" She suggested, the Doctor smiling in reply.

"No, wait, I have a better idea!" He flipped a few switches causing the TARDIS to shutter. "Vegas, but in space, during the 51st century! Space Vegas!" With one last lever pull, the TARDIS shook fiercely before freezing as we landed somewhere.

Amy jumped excitedly, laughing in joy. We all glanced at each other before the Doctor ran for the doors, Amy and I following after him.

Tossing the TARDIS doors open a squeal escaped Amy and me at the sight of an all purple and blue planet with sparkling gold skyscrapers lining the area up ahead.

The sky was a dark blue, this planets' version of a sun being another large planet with rings surrounding it in place of where a sun normally was. The rings of the 'sun' were a glowing purple, the actual planet part being blue giving off a pretty glow to the forever dark sky.

Stars lined all across the sky, bright pink clouds floating high. Each skyscraper gave off its own unique golden glow, lighting up the city with an aurora of gold, blue, and purple. Mountains lay in the background, just behind the city, colored a deep blue alike to the rest of the terrain of the planet.

Right away, I noticed the circuit like freeways, odd pod-like things speeding through at dangerous speeds and yet the pods were speeding in such an organized way it was safe.

Circular buildings which looked almost like mansions or large houses floating in the air, revolving around the skyscrapers. They illuminated a bright purple, sticking out amongst the dark blue hue of the sky and pink clouds.

The noise of loud bells hit my ears bringing me out of my shocked state, Amy jumping out of what I could only assume to be in a similar state. The Doctor watched us with soft smiles, the three of us looking up, Amy gasping at the sight of a circular pod-train flying by us overhead.

Looking back, I noticed the train ringing with bells had come from in between the deep blue mountains surrounding the city. The bells rang loudly as the train flew by entering the city.

"Welcome to Space Vegas!" Forcing myself to rip my gaze away from the amazing sight, I looked to the Doctor, Amy following in suit.

The Doctor watched us with an excited smile grabbing us by our hands and leading us back inside the TARDIS.

"Wait, where are we going? I wanted to stay." I complained, the Doctor closing the doors behind us turning around with a gleam in his eye.

"Oh, don't worry, I'm just taking us closer!" The Doctor exclaiming, putting a single finger under my chin smiling at me before racing off to the console.

"That was Space Vegas!" Amy yelled excitedly. "It looked like something straight out of Star Wars!" Amy laughed, the Doctor laughing along with her, myself simply confused.

What was Star Wars?

The Doctor meandered around, toying with his control gears. "Oh, I know!" He enthusiastically waved his hands around as he spoke, something about his excitement looking animated. "It's truly the ultimate planet for excitement! In fact, I've just..." The Doctor trailed off, typing something on his TARDIS. A ding sounded through the time machine before two tickets suddenly were printed from the TARDIS console popping up in front of the Doctor.

Grabbing both tickets, he held them up proudly as if showing them off to us. "These are two tickets for our reservation to the most luxurious hotel in Space Vegas, the Grandeur! 51st century, humans need a new Vegas and so Space Vegas is born! The Grandeur is the most exclusive hotel and casino around! And I have us in the two bedroom suite!" The Doctor yelled, winding me and Amy up.

"Two bedrooms?" I rose a brow, the Doctor blushing slightly but trying not to let it show.

"Yes, well, I thought you and I would share the master and Amy could have the extra to herself." The Doctor stated causing Amy to fall into a coughing fit and my eyes to go wide. "Or not! You and Amy could share the master if you want!" He desperately tried to backtrack, Amy laughing while throwing her head back.

"Oh no, buster. I won't get in the way of whatever this..." She motioned between us. "Is." She finished off making me avert my eyes and the Doctor's face to go beet red as he clicked a few buttons causing the TARDIS to vibrate before stopping.

Quickly, the Doctor plucked the tickets out of the console table motioning me and Amy to follow him as he left the TARDIS.

Following him out, Amy and I both froze at the sight that met our eyes. Amy clutched my arm tightly, our mouths agape as we looked around.

It was obvious we were high up in one of the skyscrapers. The room was dark being lit by many purple lights hanging from the high ceiling.

To our right was the apparent master bedroom, the double doors made from blurry glass with twisting handles of crystal. Straight in front of us was a pristine living room with glaring white couches and bookshelves of blue hardwood housed dozens of books.

Just behind the living room was a huge glass panel giving way to the magnificent sight outside, that sight being the beautiful Space Vegas city.

A kitchen was hidden behind doors which were slightly ajar, and Amy's secondary bedroom stood opposite to the master room.

"Ah, Space Vegas, the ultimate party planet!" The Doctor held his arms to the air, adjusting his bowtie as he looked out the window to the sight of the city.

"OH MY GOSH!" Amy shouted in delight, giggling as she ran about the large suite before racing into her bedroom, screams of glee coming from whatever she found within.

Deciding to follow in her footfalls, I raced in the where the Doctor and I would be sleeping, gasping at what I saw.

The walls were painted a dark blue, the ceiling holding the image of the stars above. In the center of the room was a lone king bed sat atop a small step curtains drawing out around the bed.

On the left side was what I could assume to be a closet, and to the right was an arch leading into a bathroom. With a giggle, I leaped to the bathroom vaguely hearing the Doctor enter the room just as I stepped through the archway.

In the center of the bathroom was a huge bathtub which looked more like a jacuzzi if anything. It was lined with dozens of golden pipes, a large shower placed next to the jacuzzi bathtub.

Turning around hearing footsteps from behind, I was met with the Doctor looking around gently, our gaze clashing in a melodic symphony.

However, a twinkle of gold from behind the Doctor caught my eye. Walking past him, I took a sharp intake of breath seeing the huge golden piano sitting against the wall.

How could I miss this?

"Can you play?" He asked walking behind me, my breath catching in my throat at his close proximity.

Shaking my head, I looked over at him. "No, can you?" The Doctor quirked a brow taking a step forward at my words.

"Of course I can, what kind of question is that?" The arrogant Timelord asked as if my question offended him.

Rolling my eyes at his cockiness and yet wanting him to play, I grasped his hand lacing our fingers together pulling him forward. The Doctor stumbled in surprise, awkwardly trying to catch himself.

"In which case, you can play for me." I sat him down on the piano, the Doctor looking up to meet my gaze.

A smile plastered across his face as he slowly motioned to the spot next to him in the piano's bench. "Well..." I smiled, averting my gaze as I sat next to him.

The Doctor smiled down at me, hands ghosting over the keys before he suddenly began playing a wonderful melody. The melody was foreign to me, but it was soothing all the same. The Doctor's gaze turned into a more serious meaningful look, his fingers playing a rhythm of their own, him not even looking at the keys as he played.

Much to my ultimate shock, a few beats in, his voice began drifting as he sang an unfamiliar song.

"She's standing there, by a broken tree.
Her hands are all twisted, she's pointing at me.
I was damned by the light coming, over me as she
spoke with a voice that fell from the sky."

The Doctor's voice as he sang sounded nothing like how he spoke. His voice was deep, slightly rough around the edges as he sang, and yet it gave him the perfect flow. The thing about the Doctor was is that he wasn't just singing.

No.

He was painting a picture with his words. It was like he was showing me a story as he sang. Every day the Doctor would act cheerful and goofy, and I had no doubt that cheerful and goofy were apart of his personalit, but that was the only part of his personality he tried to show.

When he was sad, he would never let us see it, he always tries to hide it. The Doctor was a man with a thousand secrets and emotions which were locked in a box buried deep underneath the surface of his mind.

As he sang, it was like those secrets and all that hidden emotions were pulled out and stuck right in front of my face, screaming at me that this was the Doctor. This was the one who couldn't tell his name, the last Timelord, and this was his story.

"She said hold on lover, don't be ashamed.
I will wrap you in my arms and know that you'll be safe.
Let me sign.
Let me sign."

The song was short, and before I knew it the last few lyrics were out in the wind, the Doctor ceasing his magnificent melody. His hands ghosted over the keys, silence covering the room alike to a blanket.

Slowly, the Doctor brought his head up, his eyes holding a melancholy passion as they bore into me. I barely even registered the fact that we were leaning in until our lips were just centimeters, so close that I could feel his cool breath fanning across my face.

It was interesting, the Doctor and I rarely had calm somber moments such as this, usually, they were upbeat to match our commonly fast-paced situations. I should have known that a quiet moment such as this couldn't last.

"GUYS!" Amy barged into the room, the Doctor and I jumping feet apart from Amy's sudden energetic entrance.

Amy didn't seem to notice the moment she had walked into by the expression on her face. However, my mouth fell agape at the outfit she was wearing. It wasn't that it was showy, but it did look extremely tight.

Amelia Pond stood there looking like a nightlight. A full body suit which was skin-tight stuck to Amy, small wedges which increased her already tall height by a few inches. She was probably around the Doctor's height now.

The thing was the suit was lit up, the base of it was black and yet lines of bright white light were plastered along the suit. Amy's makeup was done darker than normal, and her red hair now had a sort of curl to it that made it look bouncy. The red stuck out against black and white of the suit but unfortunately was engulfed by the pure intensity of the suits lights.

"Look what I found hanging in my closet! I looked out the window and everyone's wearing something like this, the bright light futuristic outfits! Isn't it amazing?" Both mine and the Doctor's eyes roamed over Amy, myself needing to give her props for how good the tight outfit made her look.

In fact, it made her not even look like she was from Earth. With that on, she blended in well enough to look like she was from a different technological based planet, and yet she was still on human-claimed planet thousands and thousands of years in the future.

"Woah," I muttered, the Doctor and mine moment long gone at this point.

Taking a few steps forward, Amy watched me eagerly as I ran my hand down the surprisingly smooth and stretchy fabric. The light part didn't feel any different from the rest of the fabric, looking back at Amy's face I nodded my head.

"Yep, you look hot." I complimented making her jump excitedly giggling.

The Doctor rolled his eyes at us and yet smiled all the same his usual happy demeanor back. Walking closer, he gestures around.

"Ah, yes, humans in the 51st century, went through a bit a light obsessed phase as you can tell by their current fashions. Light cycles, light disks, and of course, light suits as you're wearing is all the rave right about now." The Doctor walked out of our temporary bedroom, Amy and I following him keen to know more about the distant future. "Dance parties dedicated to light! Liquor that glows, hair as bright as can be, and not to mention the many technological gambling options in this city!" The Doctor began pacing, green eyes lighting up in the way they did when he was excited. "We truly are at the height of human fun, just years before they go to war with another species as it is." The Doctor told us, stopping just in front of the window so his back was facing us.

Amy laughed delightedly, shaking me as she did so. "Then what are we still doing here? C'mon, let's go explore, party, drink, have fun!" She yelled, me smirking at her, the Doctor doing the same.

Spinning on his heel, he held up one finger. "But of course! That's why I brought us here, after all. Though Effie and I will need to get changed to blend in, I'm afraid our current outfits will stick out far more than normal." The Doctor said, rubbing my hair as he walked by causing me to scowl at my now ruined waves.

"Really?" I complained, making the Doctor snicker as he made his way into the bedroom.

"Oh, there's an extra light outfit in my closet! Let's go, I'll help you get ready!" Amy pulled me with her into her room, my face going downcast knowing how Amy takes fashion very seriously. "We'll be a good fifteen minutes, Doctor!" Amy closed the door to the bedroom after yelling that spinning around to face me.

I gazed around the room surprised to see it was just a tad bit smaller than mine and the Doctor's. Even the bathroom was the same as ours, the only real difference being it was a queen bed instead of a king.

"Okay..." Amy played with my long hair with a pondering look. "I know just what to do with you!" I yelped when Amy forced me to sit on the bed, grabbing a hair band from seemingly nowhere and pulling my hair up into the tightest bun possible.

Next came, of course, makeup. Much to my disbelief, Amy completely caked my face with it, making it extremely dark. Thankfully, it wasn't caked in a bad way, but in a way which truly did make me look attractive. The eye make up was dark, my lashes long and thick.

"Oooh, a white one." I stopped feeling the tight bun which let no flyaways out looking to Amy who stood by the closet holding a skin-tight light suit alike to her own.

However, I immediately saw the obvious differences. This one for starters had the base color of white, making the already white lights on the suit seem to stick out all the more. This one looked like it was made from a softer material blending differently from Amy's black one.

I knew right away this white light outfit would make both my hair and eyes pop out from the color diffraction. Amy walked closer, smirking at me while throwing the suit which I caught.

"Change, now." She ordered, me huffing while ripping off the flight jacket and kicking my boots away.

Today just happened to be the one day the Doctor commanded me not to bring my blaster. Since he found out I had it on me almost all the time, he made it point to try and get me to not bring it. In his words, he was perfectly capable of protecting Amy and me with his sonic, something I heavily disagreed with.

Once the suit was on, me happy that it was tight enough so I didn't need a bra, I couldn't stop myself from admiring my reflection in the mirror.

This outfit alike to how it did Amy was the perfect size for me hugging me in all the right places. Actually, it seemed the suit had its own sizing technology inside which allowed for the suit to automatically match the size of the person wearing it.

Amy was truly gifted in the art of beauty, she knew how to make makeup look great even when it was a lot.

"Final touch." Amy waltzed out of the closet, holding something of nightmares in her grasp.

That nightmare being a pair of six-inch pristine white stilettos with a bright glowing bottom.

I sucked in a breath, shaking my head. "No, no, please, no!" I shook my head, taking a step away as she took one forward.

Amy tilted her head, giving me a sad puppy-dog expression. "Please?" She begged, making me once again shake my head. Her expression hardened as she gave me a motherly scowl. "Effie, put these on, right now." I sighed at her, knowing that I wasn't getting out of this.

Angrily, I ripped the heels from her grasp putting them on much to her delight. Amy cheered as the heels brought me up to how tall she normally was in flat shoes. Looking back at myself in the mirror, my anger faded seeing as the heels truly did look good.

However, I was extremely fearful that I would trip within my first few steps wearing these huge things. At least with these though the Doctor would no longer tower over me.

Turning back to Amy who grabbed my hand, we made our way out of her bedroom excitedly, me scowling at the annoying sound of the heels clicking. At least Amy's wedges were silent, you could hear me from a mile away in these!

The Doctor was standing just in front of the huge window, his eyes immediately coming over to us as we exited Amy's room. My eyes nearly bulged out of my head at what the Doctor was wearing, it was so odd seeing him in anything other than his normal tweed and bowtie, let alone a light up suit.

Alike to mine, the Doctor's outfit was based white, neon lights reflecting brightly off of it. Over his suit, which unlike mine and Amy's wasn't skin-tight, he wore a tong white tailcoat which was lit up all the same. A giant white top hat adorned his h+ead, and in his right,*-/ he held a glowing white cane.

Because his outfit was entirely white with glowing lights, his hair and eyes stuck out amongst it all making the Doctor look even more attractive than normal in my opinion. Wiping my thoughts away before they could take a turn for inappropriate, Amy and I waltzed straight up to the Doctor who looked me over wide eyes.

Stopping so I was just in front of the Doctor, I smirked fixing his tailcoat for him feeling his breath catch in his throat. I truly did love the effect I had on him.

"So, where to next, Timelord?" I questioned the Doctor swallowing before stuttering out a reply, Amy snickering at him.

"Hmm... I–well... I'm not–Anywhere you two want! Let's start there!" The Doctor shouted, Amy, laughing while shaking her head.

Suddenly she gasped, making the Doctor and I turn to her watching as she suddenly walked out of the kitchen a plate of what I could tell to be cookies decorated to look like flowers. I rose my brows seeing as the cookies were glowing purple. "They gave us complimentary cookies!" Amy waved around a note, taking three and handing two to the Doctor and I. "I say we go explore the casino and nightclub, says here in this pamphlet they have the best in all of Space Vegas!" Amy exclaimed as she bit into her cookie, waving around what I could see to be a pamphlet of Space Vegas.

I followed in her footsteps, taking a bite out of my cookie, the Doctor watching us eat ours before shrugging and stuffing his in his mouth. "Sounds good to me..." He trailed off, looking to his half-eaten cookie wide-eyed, Amy and I looking at ours with similar expressions.

In a matter of seconds, all three of us had finished off what was possibly the best cookie I had ever tasted. "Wow, this is the most delicious thing I've ever consumed!" I said as we all began eating every cookie from the plate.

"I second that." Amy hummed biting into her third one, the Doctor nodding in agreement already on his fourth.

I couldn't tell you if it was my second or third cookie when it began. All I know is that at some point in between those two I started to let go. My vision swirled with colors and before I knew it, I felt like I was at the top of the world. Like anything I wanted was at my fingertips, suddenly, my priorities were now to 'let loose and have fun'.

No longer was I worried about the Doctor finding out my true nature, finding out my greatest secret.

No.

In that instant, all I cared about were three things.

One; Go dancing at the hotel's nightclub.
Two; Gamble with Amy.
And; three, have the Doctor screw me until we went crazy.

Or, perhaps we already were?

Purple lined over my vision for just a few more seconds before the mist went away leaving me with a carefree reckless attitude, determined to have fun. From my sides, Amy and the Doctor both laughed all of us swaying slightly and looking at each other.

"Amazing!" The Doctor yelled Amy giggling from our side unable to keep her laughter at bay, myself in a similar state to her. "I know, why don't we stay here for a while?" The Doctor asked us, Amy and I vigorously nodding our heads.

"That sounds like an amazing idea!" I told him truthfully, the Doctor gave me a shy but suggestive smile.

Amy twirled away from us, throwing her arms in the air with a loud laugh. "I figured it out, Doctor! I know the real reason you brought us here!" She exclaimed, the Doctor smiling at her in an insane manner.

"Why?"

"To have fun! To forget about your motto on saving people, to just think about us!" Amy said, the Doctor jumping up and down with an eager nod.

"Of course, that's why I brought us here! Who cares about the rest of the universe, our entertainment surely comes first!" The Doctor gleefully howled, gripping my hands and spinning me around him causing me to let out a series of snorts and giggles.

"I know! Let's never leave, let's stay here forever and ever!" I suggested in a slurred voice, the Doctor and Amy immediately agreeing.

From there, I vaguely remember going to the casino then the nightclub. However, I got split up from the Doctor and Amy along the way, finding the Doctor a few minutes later.

"Oh, there you are." I sighed, the Doctor smirking down at me as I made my way to where he stood in the middle of the club.

Amy was still nowhere to be found, me not too concerned knowing she would show up soon enough. I had lost track time long ago, myself unsure how long we had actually been here having fun.

Gambling, drinking, dancing, all of it seemed to just blend together in a haze of purple pleasure. Once I was in reaching distance of the Doctor, he surprised me by grasping my waist and tugging me to him.

"Doctor-" I was cut off by the Doctor, much to my shock, leaning down just a few inches (thanks to the heels) pressing his lips forcefully against mine.

The Doctor was surprisingly colder than the average human, or maybe I was just really hot right now? I wasn't sure, but I made sure to focus on not burning him keeping my body no more than one-hundred two.

The kiss was deep, passionate, and speedy. His tongue stroked along my bottom lip before he forced his tongue inside my mouth exploring the crevices. A loud moan left me as he began moving from my lips, placing kisses down my neck, sucking and biting along the exposed skin.

At that moment, I cared little for the fact that we were quite literally in the middle of the dance floor. All I knew was that I need him closer—we had to go somewhere where we could truly explore each other further.

A loud, slightly embarrassing moan left me as the Doctor managed to pull me closer, the only thing separating us from the other being the fabric of our clothing. Even that was too much, I needed to be closer to him, skin to skin.

The Doctor's right hand moved away from my waist, going down gripping a good handful of my ass. "Perfect." The Doctor muttered in between leaving love bites along my neck. "So perfect, I need more." He sighed, me barely registering the fact that he somehow managed to walk us through the hotel, up the elevator, and to the room.

People didn't even react to us, considering here this was a normal occurrence to happen. I screamed as my body was flung against the bed, the Doctor not wasting even a second to hop right on top of me, our lips clashing madly.

A groan left the Doctor, as he suddenly ground his obviously swollen groin against a part of my body which radiated the most heat than anywhere. I gasped at the foreign feeling, never having experienced this much lust and passion in one go.

Both of us moaned as the Doctor once again pushed his covered part against me, myself cussing at the fabric keeping us separated desperate to just rip it off at this point. His lips placed kisses down my neck, my arms wrapping around him pulling him impossibly closer to me.

This should have been my first sign that something was wrong. The Doctor wasn't like this, he was more awkward in these types of situations, generally almost not knowing what to do. Not only that, but he was most definitely more thoughtful, he would never just rush into it like we were doing currently.

However, those thoughts didn't truly hit me, I was so flustered that I couldn't think, I didn't want to think, I just wanted him.

The Doctor brought his lips back to mine, me biting and sucking on his bottom lips taking the advantage this time and forcing my own tongue inside the confines of his mouth. Moaning, a surge of confidence burst through me making me flip us over on the bed so I was on top, our hips pressed together heatedly.

In a fast motion, I had brought his hands up pressing them against the fabric of the suit right at the mounds of my breast. I gave no fucks about how careless I was being, about how at any other time the Doctor would have freaked.

All I could focus on was the friction between us, in fact, I was slightly scared that I would burn him. Unable to hold it any longer, I released the heat building inside me around us so that my skin wouldn't burn the Doctor.

It was like slow-motion, I wasn't thinking and it should've caused for a catatonic result. In a moment of pure bliss, I let go screaming in pleasure as a ring of fire surrounded the bed, the curtains of the bed catching fire along with the curtains of the windows.

Of course, I would never let the fire burn him, but it was better than allowing my skin to heat. Realizing what I had did, I froze in place, terror hitting me like a bucket of ice being dumped over the top of my head.

I stopped midway through our heavy makeout session, the Doctor pulling back with a lazy smirk gracing his features. "It's okay." He whispered, rubbing against me.

That was the second sign, the sign I actually paid attention to. The Doctor would not simply say that, no, any other time he would have gone ballistic with questions, accusations, he would have been hurt. I know that for a fact, so this was my sign that something was horribly wrong.

"What?" I all but hissed, the fire surrounding flaring up before disappearing completely, the Doctor watching me through hooded eyes.

"What's the matter, love?" He questioned in a sickly sweet tone, myself confused as to what was happening.

"Doctor?" I whimpered, the lust I was previously feeling gone in the blink of an eye as I slowly got off him, backing away.

The Doctor's face went blank as he stared at me emotionless. "What's wrong, my love?" His voice turned lower and suddenly he disappeared right before my very eyes.

"What the hell!" I yelped, jumping away from where the Doctor previously sat on the bed turning about the room realizing I had been all alone this whole time.

Suddenly, it hit me. We had been here for an entire week! How had time slipped by like that? The purplish haze which had previously been blocking my vision was gone now, and I could see clearly.

Looking down, I frowned, the pain of my feet being in the same heels for seven days straight smashing into me alike to a bus. The first five days, I was with the real Amy and Doctor, but sometime after that, Amy disappeared and the real Doctor got replaced with some mind trick! It all started after I ate that goddamn cookie, what the hell was this?

"Effie!" I heard a thick Scottish voice scream before Amy burst into my room looking equally as panicked as me.

"Amy? What's going on!" I ran up to her, the two of us pulling each other in a tight hug.

Amy squeezed me, before letting go feeling my face. "Hold on, are you real?" Smiling, I giggled at Amy's words nodding my head at her causing her to let out a breath of relief.

"Oi, thank god, I don't think I could handle another mind-trick." I frowned at that, looking around the room.

"Mind-trick? You mean to say this all one big illusion?" I asked, Amy, nodding in reply.

"Yeah, I was the first one who snapped out of it. Of course, right after I was aware of what happened I went to find the Doctor, and the Doctor was snapped out it right away. It was odd, I found him a broom closet kissing the air, looking like he was making out with someone who wasn't there." Amy winked at me, causing a large blush to form on my cheeks at what she was implying. "He was embarrassed, but in his own words apparently the cookies weren't cookies at all, but something called the 'Crystals of Desire'-" Amy was cut off by the Doctor prancing in, tossing the doors open.

"YES, thank you, Amy!" He gave an annoyed glance to the ginger girl who only snorted in reply, his eyes going back to me. "They're called the Crystals of Desire and the people here use them to invoke themselves with nothing but pleasurable emotions. They thought that we would want some as it's a common source here, simple misunderstanding though it had slightly drastic effects." The Doctor suddenly walked over, pulling me into a warm hug. "Thank the stars, you're okay." He whispered, kissing my forehead before pulling away.

My breath caught in my throat as I hugged him back, my mind going back to the previous events unfolding just a few minutes prior. If these two had found me just moments earlier they would have walked in on something that would have entirely changed our reality.

As we pulled away from the hug, I nervously averted my gaze unable to meet the Doctor's eyes.

"I think I've had enough of Space Vegas, I need a hot bath, let's go," I said, spinning the stilettos making clicking noises as I made my way back to the TARDIS.

From behind me, I could sense Amy and the Doctor flashing nervous glances toward each other as they followed. I needed time to think.

As inappropriate and slightly embarrassing as that illusion was, it was also an eye-opener. In that lustful moment with the fake him, I lost it. I now realized how truly careful I would need to tread around the Doctor, one wrong move like that and everything would fall apart.

Each string in the web of lies I had created was easy to break. Eventually my web of lies would unravel and there was nothing I could do about it.
