"Ask who and what?" I questioned.

"Tara." He said. "To be your girlfriend."

I looked at him, waiting for him to say that he was joking, but that did not happen.

"Wait, are you serious?" I stopped walking.

He turned and faced me. And the look on his face says that he was dead serious.

"Jay, it's been ten fucking years." He said and placed his hand on my shoulder. "Ask her before someone else does and whisk her away."
