Normal POV

King Jude was sitting at the dinning Hall table getting ready to eat his food when he heard a voice.

"Daddy!!" Little Lucy ran into the room at her father.

"My little princess!" He exclaimed as he opened his arms to hug her.

But before she could he held her up under her armpits.

"Dear lord Lucy what happened to you beautiful dress?!" The king yelled.

"stay here natsu" Layla told the boy as she was about to enter the room.

"Well dear I can explain that." She told her husband as she entered.

The king placed the girl on the floor and stood up to greet his queen with a kiss on the cheek. Lucy and Natsu was secretly making silly faces at each other from a distance.

"Well see something happened on the way home" Layla explained.

"And what's that?" He questioned.

"Well here, Natsu come in" Layla yelled.

Little Natsu came in the room and went straight to Lucy. Lucy smiled and started trying to fix his hair.

"Who is he? Why have you brought a commoner into our castle?" Jude asked started to sound more of authority.

"Well we hit him with our carriage," Layla started. "and well Lucy wanted to make sure he was okay."

"And he doesn't have a mommy or daddy!" Lucy spoke up.

"And you want him to stay here?" Jude asked.

"Well he has no place to go. But he wouldn't just be living here. I thought he could be Lucy's personal gaurd." Layla told him.

"Lucy doesn't need a kid whose near the same age as her, guarding her. She needs an adult."

"Well by the time Lucy is actually leaving the castle with out us he'll be old enough." Layla aruged.

"Why is does it have to be him!?" Jude yelled.

"she doesn't have any friends here Jude," she yelled then sighed. "I just want Lucy to have a friend"

Jude looked at Natsu and Lucy then back at Layla. He scratched his forehead and shook his head.

"Come here boy" he demanded.

Natsu slowly walked over and stood tall.

"What's you're name?" He asked the little kid.

"Natsu sir"

"Your last name?"

"I can't remember sir"

"Where's your family?"

"I think there was a fire and they all died.. I can't remember." Natsu said while rubbing his teary eyes.

"So you have no family or memory?" Jude asked.

Natsu nodded and gulped.

"Very well, you will train with my best guards till you are of 18 years of age, then you will fully become Lucy's personal guard. But until then you'll stay by her side when you're not training."

"Y-yes sir! Thank you sir" Natsu bowed.

"Silver, Mira" the king called.

A tall knight came into the room with a grumpy child behind him. Along with a young teen with long white hair.

"You summoned us your highness?"

"Yes, Silver. You'll be taking this young boy under your wing to become a guard. His training shall be harder since he is to become my daughters personal guard." He told Silver.

"Yes sir" he bowed

"Mira, please taking Lucy and him to bathe, Lucy ruined her new dress and is covered in blood and mud. And he needs to be tended to. He is injured and disgusting. I will not allow that to eat at my dinning table." Jude leaned his face into his right hand while shooing them off with his left.

"Yes sir, right away sir" Mira curtsied.

"Come along lady Lucy, and .." she looked at Natsu.

"My name is Natsu" he smiled.

Mira took both the children's hands and pulled them away. Silver and his son went back to their quarters. Layla looked at her husband and smiled.

"Thank you dear" she went beside him and kissed his cheek.

Jude couldn't help but smile.

"Anything for you my love."

"Goodnight lady Lucy" Mira said as she sent Lucy to her room. "Come on Natsu."

Natsu looked back at Lucy and watch as she went down a different hall.

"Wait where am I going?" He asked pulling at his arm in Mira's grip.

"To Silver and Grays sleeping quarters. You'll be with them on a daily basis so you'll be staying there" she explained.

Natsu pouted and was pretty much dragged therw by Mira.

"Here he is Silver" Mira handed him over the Silver who gazed down at the boy.

"Why is his hair pink that's stupid."

"Gray shut up" Silver scolded.

"tch, not my fault he has girl hair" Gray threw his shirt off.

"At least I'm not a stripper" Natsu aruged looking at the shirtless boy in front of him.

"Wha- dang it! Why!?" He yelled looking for his shirt.

Natsu looked back up with Mira.

"do I really have to stay here with.. him?"

Mira giggled and waved goodbye.

"Come on Natsu, I'll show you your room. Gray come on" Silver told the boys.

Natsu and Gray kept budding heads while Silver showed them to the room. "Boys you better behave tonight, go to sleep" With that he closed the door. Natsu stay silent for a minute before standing up and walking to the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" Gray asked jumping off the bed.

"To go find Lucy." Natsu shrugged and went to open the door.

"Whoa dude, you can't call her that!" Gray exclaimed.

"What you mean weirdo?" Natsu asked.

"She's a princess idiot. You must address her as Princess Lucy, Lady Lucy, miss Lucy, or her highness. I guess since you're going to be her body guard you can call her your lady and mistress. I don't know. But you better not be so informal with her name." Gray told the pinkette.

"Ohh, i don't know I'll call her Luce" Natsu told him.

"That wasn't an option idiot!" Gray yelled. "You don't even know how to get there."

"I'll find her, she my lady and mistress remember." Natsu smiled so genuinely.
