Von Nebula

Mostly going to Eldridge Gods for concept designs but still make him recognizable.

Still trying to figure out how nebular energy works with him as it is supposed to be able to make portals as well as control gravity with enough pressure to create black holes.

Currently just making it that he covers himself in it completely and can deflect and catch projectile attacks.

Won't be having his staff this time around either and only appears in a gaseous state.

Fire Lord

Leaning more into his prototype design with the clawed fingers and leg design, however some parts of his legs and arms can fold in and rearrange for making flight easier.

He won't be having his grill face plate as I didn't want to figure out how to angle it, and if I can find a reason to not draw it, I will not even try to draw it.

His jet pack has upper segments that can flatten and spread out, resembling airplane wings, for mobility while flying and extra spines protrusions to act as air breaks.

Design will also be rather bulky and the jet pack can turn 180 degrees to be used as another fire attack, smoke will be coming out from the mouth and slits in the armor.

Witch Doctor

Will be having talons on hands and feet and the staff will look like a combination of the prototype and finalized designs.

Design will be having a rib cage that can split open to reveal an organ on the chest cavity that stores Antiquaza and releases it like a gas that infects wildlife by having them inhale it.

Can only control up to 5 animals at a time because when he has control over them, he uses them as his eyes and ears, like if one animal sees something, he sees it too, and an overstimulation can cause massive headaches.

Trying to balance a bulky and slim looking design as he wrestles and pins down animals before infecting them.

Black Phantom

Making the design slimmer than original, a prototype design that I made had six eyes, four on the head and two at the base of the neck.

His horns can move around to express emotion more and the two appendages on his back are used for combat, as well as for making stuff like climbing easier.

Was going to be adding spines on arms and legs but now unsure.

The Arachnix Drone is going to be based on jumping spiders because they take down prey over 5 times their size, tarantulas were avoided as a reference because they can't jump and can die from not even a meter height drop.

Core Hunter

Mostly the same but the core removal claw has 3 segments instead of 2.

Uses stealth armor, the kind that turns invisible, he took it from a hero he stole the core of.

Leaning more into his mechanical engineering side with creating drones and mechas of sorts, in Doom Box he made remote controlled copies of himself and his Heropedia stated that he created the Arachnix Drones so I don't think that it's too far fetched.

Just like his Doom Box incarnation, he is a perfectionist manipulator and always has an escape route nearby when he does show himself.

Done, can't think of anything else to add, constructive criticism is welcomed and appreciated for me.

One of the reasons I differentiated the design was because it is a whole galaxy full of life so it's okay to make some designs rather alien compared to what we're used to.

Mechanical Madness is under another draft rewrite because I just can't seem to figure out the middle without it being a massive incoherent mess, the beginning and ending are done but that DAMN MIDDLE SEGMENT OF THE STORY.

Two rules of thumb that I have are:

1. If all you think is what you could, stop to think if you should.

I used it to help keep Mechanical Madness in order as I think it helps anchor stories.

2. For designing an established character, it okay to change up the design as long as it's recognizable as that particular character.

I stick to this like glue.
