Jetbug was going to attack a train full of civilians as a reference to "Guardian of the Universe" with the set up included, the scene with the train carts crushing civilians after the front was lifted off would not be included as I don't think he's THAT strong physically.

Fire Lord was going to put "grilled metallic chicken" on the menu "Revenge of Iris" style, I posted it on the discord server(other than posting kaiju stuff, I post pictures of the incomplete comic pages and pictures of Topaz will enough regularity that it could be counted as "spam") not to long ago as the time of typing this.

Von Nebula was going to form a massive hurricane(as well as the black hole) before revealing himself to Stormer in the New Stellac City, now he doesn't make a physical in the "flesh" in there with Thunder as his substitute for the assault...city destruction is still very much there as a blatant homage to "Shin Godzilla" and later "Godzilla 1998" when another defense force crashes the fight and causes the villains to run for their lives.

The Splitter Beast was going to bi-ch slap a drone out the sky and into a refinery with enough destruction to make the Fire Villains blush after launching out of the ground as another blatant "Guardian of the Universe" reference, and yes, a kaiju died to a bi-ch slap in that movie and it was magnificent.

A "Godzilla: the series" reference was going to be in there with Rotor and Thunder smashing through a military base to cause a distraction.

Jawblade was going to "Jaws" a poor sap and perform the alligator death role on them.

A "Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster" reference was going to be made with the Bioweapon.

Thunder was going to have the ability to "eat" energy projectiles and shoot them back out via his crush claw.

Core Hunter was to have made and discarded Splitface in an attempt to make the "perfect" killing machine with the drones from his latest attempt looking like the soldier Legion from "Attack of Legion" with the reference to the mother Legion being later on.

A villain named "Warpath" was going to be a reference to "Gojira" with said villain being killed by a specialized weapon (like how the original Godzilla was killed by the oxygen destroyer) after racking up a body count in the thousands from one assault with the number getting even higher due to the after effects of nuclear radiation caused by his ranged attacks in the area, but unlike the original Godzilla, he had no reason to do it other than for fun.

A "HTTYD/Gamera the Brave" reference was going to be made with the Dragonbolt's origin.

During their first fight, Stormer was going to grab Meltdown's tentacle, freeze-dry it, and break it off before performing a wrestling move on him(Ultraman reference).

Bulk was going to have gauntlets that can activate a small temporary shield(reference to Cyber Gomora).

Jetbug's fighting style was going to be similar to Showa Gigan's minus the buzz saw.

A creation from Core Hunter was going to be a homage to Destroyah with the creation being able to split into smaller drones.

One of the guardian beasts was going to be a hydra of sorts with a small nod to Biollante with the other being a large metallic phoenix.

Rocka was scheduled to appear in the "Savage Planet" segment of the comic but got pushed back to the "Breakout" wave.

The Black Phantom's design was going to be more spider-like.

Villain attacks are going to be more destructive and affect civilian lives outside of the attacks themselves, like how it affects jobs or the price of the items that are mugged the most, or how enough attacks at a certain joint can cause a crash in stock markets, or evacuations...stuff like that.

The "Villain Factory" is going to be a thing but the Dark Creator decided to get villain dna/cna for cloning parts and made the brains to get elemental biological information while also getting viable samples to use for more of his f-cked up experiments too.

Author's notes

Final product will hopefully not be reference heavy and the plot should hopefully not be extremely janky or heavily suffer due to lack of build up and plot holes.

Fights are going to be kinda brutal and I've been researching and dissecting media that I like and how they pull of the stuff they do in that manner.

I also feel like I'm missing stuff too.

Might do ships(more of a nudge nudge wink wink) if suggested but so far it is only between Bulk and Stringer.
