Simon Says is here, Ladybug thought. I can't let him hurt Adrien!

"Where's Adrien?" she demanded from Nino. The boy gestured to the bathroom.

"Taking a shower," he said.

"Now?!" she sputtered in shock while taking a step back. Nino shrugged.

"It's the model in him."

Ladybug blinked dumbly at him before shaking her head. Sometimes she just couldn't understand that boy's brain. She turned to Natalie. "Take Nino to the atrium. I'll take care of Adrien. Leave the remote control with me." When both Natalie and Nino left, she sighed and opened the bathroom door. "A-Adrien???"

"Yeah?" he replied. Ladybug heard the sound of rushing water, and she stiffened with a blush rising to her cheeks. She saw the boy's head pop up from behind a wall and she squeaked in surprise.

"Oh! Must...to go! Hehe...too dangerous! To leave!" She tried her best not to make the situation more awkward than it already was for the both of them.

Adrien gave her a lopsided smile of amusement. "Can I put on my clothes first...?"

Ladybug waved him away. "Sure, sure, if you must...I mean!!! Of course you can!" She slammed the door shut and sighed with a fluttering heart and closed her eyes.

Stupid, stupid, stupid! Oh, Ladybug, why did you have to-

Ladybug's thoughts were cut off when she saw a familiar face flickering at the corner of her eyesight. Curious, she carefully walked over to Adrien's computer screen and narrowed her eyes at the woman displayed as his wallpaper.

"Huh?" she mumbled to herself. There was something odd about the woman that she couldn't pick up, but her guesses were ruined when Adrien came out with a towel around his neck.

"My mother on her seventeenth birthday. She's pretty, huh?"

Ladybug could see the resemblance quite easily as her eyes remained glued to the screen. She began to speak, but didn't know that Adrien spoke with her until after the sentence was said.

"She's...got your smile."

The two lovers widened their eyes and glanced at each other before averting their gaze and blushing at the same time. But, after, Ladybug snuck another peek at his mother one last time.

Mrs. Agreste...

Something stirred up inside of Ladybug, and new courage brewed up inside her gut. When the sound of hypnotized henchmen broke into Adrien's room, she instantly broke into action to protect the boy from further harm.

Don't worry, Mrs. Agreste. He'll be safe with me, she thought.
