₊❏❜ ⋮ ⌒ ITS BEEN TWO ... whole years since the death of Charli King and Liam Seo.

Kohana and Kat finally had a chance to grieve all the lives they've lost. They had spent a whole week bundled up in a bedroom Tony Stark had provided for them in his own home that he was staying in with his now wife Pepper and his soon to be born daughter, Morgan.

Tony opened up his life for the heroes that had helped in the war they shouldn't have been apart of. He learnt everything about them, he acted as if they were their own children, he fed them and gave them anything they wanted. Kat and Kohana had quickly become Starks in their new world. Anyone who met them, knew that as the children of Tony Stark, and that was that.

"Your birthday is in a week," Kat stepped into Kohanas room, eyeing the girl who sat on her bed with her legs crossed and her hands placed on her knees.

"And that just means two years and one week since they died." Kohana didn't look up to meet Kats eyes. The two had become fairly close over the span of two years alone, the two heroes would even consider each other their person.

"You know the rule. We don't keep track, and the only time we can, is on their birthdays and their death dates." Kat narrowed her eyes, their voice stern and told Kohana that she needed to follow the rules they had both made. "You'll be eighteen,"

Kohana and Kat had made a promise after one night when Tony left alcohol out and the two had gotten into it. The two had shared a moment where they confessed their feelings for each other. When Kohana turned eighteen, Kat would happily date her if Kohana still held the feelings she did ( because they, kat, held the same feelings Kohana did, and they haven't gone away. )

"Do you think we could go celebrate?" Kohana looked up at Kat with blurry eyes. "Do you think Tony and Pep would come with us too?"

"Of course they would. I could even go and ask, we could surprise you." Kat moved and sat on the edge of the bed, their fingers placed neatly in their lap. "Pick a new restaurant, even."

Tony likes to take them out for dinner. To all the fancy places that he can rent out so it's only him and his family.

"Do you think you could make it so there's people? Lots of people? An open restaurant so it doesn't feel so empty." Kohana nervously asked, her voice coming out as a soft whisper.

"Anything you'd like, Koie."

"Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday dear Kohana Stark, happy birthday to you!" The crowed cheered; Tony, Pepper, Steve, Natasha, Rodney and Kat were the ones who cheered, and anyone else in the restaurant.

"Thank you." Kohana smiled brightly, her cheeks a shade of red as she did so. This definitely helped her take her mind off of all the things happening in life, and the grief she still hadn't magically gotten over. "Really, thank you all."

"Of course, Ko." Steve smiled, leaning down and picking up the gift he had gotten her. He hadn't paid much for it, yet it would be the best gift she would have ever gotten. It was technically from everyone, since they all had helped him find what he wanted to give her. "I got you this — everyone helped out with it though."

"Oh wow, thank you, Stevie." Kohana held the neatly wrapped gift in front of her so everyone could see. She eyed the tag, ' from steve.r and with the help from everyone else. '. Kohana slowly opened the gift, taking in the moment. When she opened the wrapped cardboard box, she couldn't contain her gasp.

Inside the box, was a neatly folded jacket that looked all to much like the one Charli wouldn't ever take off. It's faded colour showed, and the there were a few slashed in the fabric that showed its use. None of that mattered though, because it was Charlis hoodie. And underneath it, was Liam's used and favourite taser.

₊❏❜ ⋮ ⌒ ITS BEEN FOUR ... years and a few months, now. A two and a half year old Morgan chases after Zayleen. Zayleen? Well, Kohana and Kats dog that is more than happy to play with anyone it sees.

"Sweetheart, you'll go blind if you keep looking at that." Kat smirks, her eyes landing on the pretty ring on Kohanas finger. They're engaged now, have been for three days.

"I don't know if I can, it's so beautiful, and shiny, and ahh." Kohana smiled up at Kat, her eyes brightening as she stood from the couch and made her way over towards Kat. "And look at this cutie."

"Abah-bah." The baby in Kats arms babbled, reaching out for the dark braided hair of her mother, Kohana. That's right, Kohana and Kat had a three month old daughter. Her name was Adi-Lee Charles Stark. That gave her the Stark last name, because here in this world, that was their last name too.  ( zayleen was named after the famous zay that the heroes had lost, Adi-Lee Charles was named after Adi, Dally and Charli who were apart of their family, even after death. )

"My little angel." Kohana cooed, her hand resting on the back of her adoptive daughter. Steve, he had gone on a mission after news of a hydra base had surfaced. He found the little girl, no more than a few days old, and brought her back.

"Awe, look at the happy family." Steve smiled from the doorway, having knocked but not receiving any kind of answer. He watched were Morgan sat and pet the puppy dog cuddled up beside her, he eyed the baby that babbled happily in its parents arms, and the two people who finally were catching a break in life.

"Hey Steve!" Kohana bounced away from Kat, opening her arms and giving Steve a hug. In a way, he was just as much their father as Tony was.
"What are you doing here?"

"Someone's here." Steve said before he moved away from the door, revealing Clint who kept his head down. Kohana had taken lessons from Clint after the death of her loved ones, many believed it would be good for her. And then one day he had disappeared and that was that.

"Clint!" Kohana cheered, smiling. Kat walked over, their daughter still wrapped in their arms.

"Hey, Clint."

"Hey, kiddos, and little kiddo."

₊❏❜ ⋮ ⌒ ITS BEEN FIVE ... years and three months; Morgan is almost four — she can talk like there's no tomorrow, Adi-Lee is a year and a few months, having taken her first steps just the other day, Zayleen the puppy has grown three times its size, and Kohana and Kat are happily married.

Or well, that's todays task.

"Would you like me to drive the get away car?" Steve Rogers asked as he stepped into the room where Kat was finishing up with any last things: like hair and makeup.

"What if im not good at this whole marriage thing?" Kat laughed but sent Steve a look that almost said she did need a get away car.

"Hey, now, Kat, you'll be great. Kohana loves you so much." Steve sat down on one of the benches, his hands resting on his lap.

"How do you know?" Kat blinked away the tears in their eyes, not wanting to ruin her make up.

"Because of this — " Steve pointed to Kats heart, "And this." he then pointed to her head. "You're so kind, and you have a heart of gold, Kat. You love Ko, and she loves you."

"You may not be my father, but I really do think of you as one."

"I'm glad your my daughter, Kat."

"Let's get this show on the road." Kat smiled, wrapping her arm around Steve arm. He would be walking them down the isle, and Tony would walk Kohana down the isle.

"We are gathered together here to join Kohana Juno Amano and Katari Alex Rena in the union of marriage..."

"Sorry to bug you two, just before you leave for your honeymoon, but we should go inside. Steve thinks he can bring the others back." Tony wrapped his arms around Kohana and Kat who looked at him like he was carzy. They weren't sure if they wanted hope, that would bite them when it didn't work.
