I know it's been a while but I've been listening to this song recently and I've decided to do a one shot based on it so here goes...

Astrid has always been the school nerd, she's been bullied and everyone thinks she's the Teacher's pet but in actual fact the teachers hate her as much as the students do.

But one person has always had his eye on her. He didn't care whether she was a runt, or a weakling, or the unpopular kid of the school. He actually fancied her because of she is, not mainly her looks.

One day Astrid was stood at her locker and every single student that passed by pushed her into her locker. She was sick of it. But when the bell went and the halls were silent, Astrid screamed in anger and punched the locker beside her.

She was just so sick of everyone and decided to do something about it. She thought about Hiccup, the school bad boy. She wanted to be like him. She didn't want to follow the rules anymore.

Astrid reached into her pocket and pulled out her iPod, she flicked the song to an Avril Lavigne song that she hadn't heard in a while. She then placed the headphones on her head and allowed the beat to over take her body.

Astrid ran down the halls dancing. She untied her hair and let it tousle out over her shoulders.

Students began to look out of their classrooms and watched Astrid dance in the corridors but she didn't care.

Hiccup appeared in one of the doorways in front of Astrid which made her turn around with a flick of her hair. Hiccup sighed in delight at the sight. She really was the girl of his dreams.

Astrid smiled and looked over her shoulder at Hiccup. She might of finally got his attention.

Hiccup began to walk to Astrid who was still messing around in the corridors, she looked so happy and peaceful in the way she moved.

Hiccup finally reached her and held her arms to stop her from moving.

Hiccup then removed the headphones from Astrid's head and then, with his hands still holding her head, he leaned in a pressed his lips against hers. Astrid's life and world finally fell into place and all her worries just drifted away as she was kissing her life-long crush.
