"Want to have a shower together?" He asked as I smiled weakly and answered, "No!"

He scooped me up in his arms wrapping his shirt around me as I tried to struggle.

"Mrs Lee is going to be here any minute. Behave yourself Jimin," I said hitting his arm playfully.

"You're my wife, not my teacher and we should save water," he said making me chuckle and starting to walk towards the shower.

He pushed the door with his foot and was about to enter when his phone rang.

"Fuck it," he said as he was about to lock the door but I held his arm.

"You came home early yesterday, it might be something important," I said as he rolled his eyes.

"Check once," I insisted.

He went to pick the call as I stood leaning at the door and a faint smile ran across my face as I admired his toned half-naked body.

"He protects me, he's possessive and tries to keep me happy, make me laugh with his cheesy lines and is giving me a life I never asked for nor did I ever have the greed. Nobody can replace him," I thought as he hung up the call and approached me.

He held my wrists as he pulled me towards his chest making me gasp.

"You purposely made me answer the call, you didn't want to spend more time with me," he nagged like a kid.

"It's nothing like that Jimin. Who was it? You look tense," I asked as I could sense the tension in his expressions.

"It's nothing, I'll have to leave but come soon to the office. I'll be waiting," he said kissing me on my cheek and going back to his laptop while I used the shower.

"Ara is the one who's going to get affected in all this Jimin," Yoongi said as Jimin ran his fingers through his hair in frustration.

"Scott ran away from the police custody, nobody knows where he is but it might be dangerous for you and Ara as well," Yoongi said.

"Scott's made a mistake, he tried to overtake my company with the help of Jia because she was working here for long and knew that Park's corporation was facing issues at that time. He should have been hanged, I don't know why was he just kept under custody," Jimin yelled banging his hand on the desk.

"Jimin, chill. We'll take care of it, our team is trying to find him, you need to keep yourself and Ara safe," Yoongi assured.

"Jia might try to do something, you never know, that woman hates Ara," Yoongi advised as Jimin nodes.

After a long pause, Jimin points out a girl he finds new in the company.

"Who's that girl? Did you hire new interns?" Jimin asked which made Yoongi smirk.

"She's Xena, Jungkook's fiance," Yoongi said.

"Jungkook is out of town, what is she doing here?" Jimin asked.

"I called her, I wanted to test someone," Yoongi said changing Jimin's mood.

"Test? What the fuck are you thinking Yoongi?" Jimin asked.

"I just want to know whether Ara loves you the way you do to her, Ara's never met Xena yet," Yoongi said making Jimin frown.

"What's going on in your head Yoongi?" Jimin asks in an annoyed tone.

"All you have to do is cooperate!" Yoongi orders making Jimin widen his eyes.

As I reached the office, I quickly went to Jimin's cabin but he wasn't there.

"Mr Min, by any chance do you know where Jimin is?"

"He's been busy since morning," Mr Min said as I bit on my lip thinking how tensed he got as he left home.

"Did something happen?" I asked but the minute Mr Min was about to say something, I saw Jimin smiling and almost flirting with some girl.

"Scott has-," Mr Min was saying but I cut him off not paying attention to his previous words and asked, "Is that a new intern?"

"I have no idea Ara," Mr Min said as I could sense hesitation in his voice.

I tried to not look bothered and bowed at Mr Min and left the cabin to get back to my desk.

For the past 27 minutes, I've been observing Jimin with that intern or whoever she is.

I'm pretending to work but the way the girl is sticking to Jimin while he is responding to her, in the same way, is getting on my nerves.

I couldn't hear their conversation but they seemed to have a good time together, laughing and the girl patting Jimin's head and being touchy.

For the past three hours, Jimin didn't call me for any help since I'm his assistant. He is busy with that woman for a long, I tried to grab his attention by passing through his cabin but he didn't even look at me.

He just asked me to keep the files and leave.

"Was this girl the reason we didn't have a shower together?" I questioned myself as my fists balled up.

I quickly finished up with the data entries of today and went to submit the file to Mr Min.

The entire time Mr Min checked on the documents, my eyes were fixed on the girl Jimin was having a gala time with.

"This man has a death wish!" I muttered as Mr Min snapped me out by handing me a file.

"Is everything okay Ara?" Mr Min asked.

"Mr Min, you are Jimin's best friend, aren't you?" I asked boldly.

"Yeah, why?" Mr Min answered.

"What if I flirt with you and he sees me doing so. What will his action be?" I asked.

"Are you kidding me? That man will kill me," he said with a confused expression.

"Well, I'm ready to kill that woman, you better find a lawyer," I said storming out of the cabin and marching towards Jimin's cabin.

"I'm sorry but am I interrupting?" I asked as Jimin turned his gaze towards me while the girl had her hand on his arm as her smile faded away.

Mr Min rushed towards the cabin as well.

"I hope you remember, you broke the rule when you exposed us to Mrs Bakes and now it's my turn," I looked at Jimin and said.

I marched towards the woman and flung her hand away from Jimin, looked into her eyes and said, "He's my husband so fuck off, stop being touchy towards him or I'll kill you with my own hands."

She stepped aside and said, "Okay Ara."

"Call me Mrs Park, I'd like that more," I said being proud of myself.

I turned towards Jimin and said in a cold tone, "I shall see you at home," and left the cabin.

"She fucking passed the test, I love my sister-in-law so much," Yoongi jumped as Xena joined in laughing with him.

"She almost scared me off," Xena said as the both of them chuckled.

"Y'all are going to get me killed," Jimin panicked as he rushed behind Ara.

"The 'Park Jimin' looks tensed!" Yoongi mocked.

"Win her back and also, convince her about the new house," Yoongi reminded but all Jimin had in his mind was stopping Ara.
