"He's clearly not in the right state of mind" I was almost close to shouting my lungs out.

"Literally every patient here is not in their right state of mind" Mr. Williams calmly stated

"But his—" I pointed in the direction of the man in question "is out of this world. Don't you see, he's beyond redemption. Just the very day he came he almost killed someone, why don't you see this Mr. Williams." I cried

"I do Nova, but the court has signed on this so we have to go through with it"

At this point I was frustrated

"So what do we do?" I asked

"We do the very same thing we do here, we treat"

"How am I suppose to treat someone who wouldn't say a word to me?"

"Let's observe how he'll be this week, then we decide what to do from there" he suggested

I stood up and made my way out of Mr. Williams only to nearly bump into someone right outside the door.

"Nurse May what are you doing here?" I asked as I steady her

"Ummm...I wanted meeting...um mm.. Mr. Williams" she stuttered

"Ok? go ahead"

I made way for her watching as she looked at me before rushing into the office.

"At least you're eating" I said as I sent the empty plates out and kept the new tray of food.

I turned towards Xavier and made my way to the leather seat.

Sitting down, I allowed my eyes access him

He was in a black polo and black sweats, leaving his tattoo filled arms on display.

Crossing my legs, I tried getting into a comfortable position.

"How are you feeling today Xavier?" I asked only to be met with silence

"Can you at least say something, it's getting to a week and you haven't spoken a word to me"

"I'm kept here against my will, bound to either a chair or bed everyday, how do you think I feel?"

Hearing his voice for the first time since I met him, instant goosebumps appeared on my skin.
His voice has a deep husky tone to it and it suited him.

"If you want me to know how you feel, you need to be communicating with me that's how this works" I explained

But he just stared at me.

Seconds had passed and he still hadn't said a word.

"Why did you attack that man in the cafeteria earlier?" I asked

"What I do is none of your business" he replied

"It's my business Xavier, I'm your doctor" I pointed out

He didn't say anything else

"So why did you do it, what did the man say to you?" I asked

"Xavier if you want to leave this place, you need to talk to me, you need to let me help you"

Letting out a sigh, I got up and walked out of his room, requesting for Zoey immediately.

Not more than a minutes had passed when Zoey made her way into my office without a knock.

"Hey" she greeted as she sat in the seat opposite me

I just smiled at her as I drank from my water can.
Just a session with Xavier had me drained and I had to do a session with him twice a day......

"Are you okay?" Zoey asked

"I guess" I didn't know my mood so I left it for her to decide.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm just tired" I slowly rubbed my temple
"Can you cancel every other session I have left?, I'll attend to them tomorrow." I asked

"Yh, sure" she answered

"I'll be going back home, I really need to rest my head" I told her as I began packing up my things

"Should I drive you home?" She asked already getting up

"My lyft's gonna be here soon" I told her

"Are you sure you'll be alright?" Concern laced her voice

"Yh...I'll meet you at home"
