Rutvika's P.O.V.

My songs sung by Tara always bring a smile on my face. My inner feelings are those which I always showcase through my writing. And the way she displays it is really amazing. Later, when the best talent award was given to her I was not at all shocked. I was just ecstatic about it knowing that she truly deserved it. That's when came the time awaited by all of us. It was time for DJ.  And I felt truly shocked when I saw the beautifully brought masquerade masks ready to fall on my face. I realized that the boys would know the girls if they have seen their gowns but most of the boys have similar clothes so girls won't know.

I kept a red mask suitable for my head and as soon as I had my mask on, a hand fell on my waist and my eyes met a pair of sunny amber eyes and I almost instantly knew that it was Adam. I laughed in his face when he tried to ask with a raucous voice," May I have this dance?" "Yeah sure Adam" I said with a laugh. A smile made way onto his face while he shook his head," You guessed too fast." I went towards the others dancing when we were slow dancing. The song then changed to perfect when a deep masculine voice I couldn't identify asked Adam," Can I steal your partner for a while?" I turned around to find the guy having a figure quite similar to Sargam standing with a smirk on his face. I really need to stop thinking in everything about him. Adam happily nodded and move towards someone else I just couldn't recognize while the stranger guy came near me. There was something familiar but I just couldn't point out. His hands travelled to my waist which suddenly made me hold my breath.  We slowly danced with the song playing in the background. I was feeling shy and nervously looking towards my feet when a sudden urge came over me to look up. I met his eyes. They were those bright blue eyes shining with happiness and amusement while looking at me which I knew too well. It was him. The boy who could never stop confusing me, who could melt me in a second and whom I could never even forget for a second. Sargam. His eyes looked at me and suddenly he was thinking deeply. I could feel his body getting tensed. He understood that I recognised him. We were already too close to each other. And I decided to take the chance at least today. I came a bit more near adoring him deeply with my eyes and slowly placed a lingering kiss on his cheek. His cheek blushed while I smiled. A new beginning for both of us. We danced a bit more after which I felt him leave. I was a bit disappointed but happier for the most part. And with a smile on my face I drifted that night into the world of darkness.

Waking up in the morning I once again remembered the night and smiled. I was the last one to leave the tent with Pari and Radhika. We assembled with the others while I tried to find Sargam only to see him avoiding to look at me. I was too worried.  And we got our task for the day a search in the forest for the green treasure. It did sound something really good. The four pairs got the first clue printed. Sujit, Vikram, Adam and Sargam had the copies of the first clue.

Our whole group moved towards the forest and came along four roads. We decided to go with our partners. Pari, Sujit, Radhika and Vikram had left. Samantha and Adam were adamant on Going on the third way while I wanted to ho on the fourth one. Samantha stormed off in the third way leaving Sargam. At least now he couldn't ignore me. But we really need to move faster.
