JULIA'S POV :

I opened the window and the morning breeze tickled my face.

I took a deep breath in the cool breeze and then closed the window to get ready for school.

When I got ready I noticed that the house is awfully quiet.

Where is my loudmouthed brother?!!

I went downstairs and heard mom singing.

Phew!  I just imagined a horror scene that everyone is gone. I am all alone.

Yes detectives you guessed it.

Mom loves to sing while doing work. By the way, she is a great singer!

"Good Morning mom!" I greeted.

"Good Morning hun." she greeted back without looking back at me.

Suddenly she stopped her work and turned to me "Julia why are you awake so earl- why are you wearing school uniform?!!"

"Cause it's a Tuesday..... and I have school?" I replied in not-in-too-sure-tone.

"Who tol- Oh! Sorry hun. You slept early yesterday so... I forgot to tell you."

"What mom?!"

"Remember that it rained last night?"

"Mhmm" I said urging her to continue.

"Soon the rain turned into hail storm because of which your school declared today a holiday."

"WHAT?!!"

She gave me a sheepish grin.

I WOKE UP IN THE MORNING. TOOK A BATH. GOT READY AND TODAY IS A FREAKING HOLIDAY!!!

YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING!!

RYAN'S POV :

"RYAN WALKER IF YOU DON'T WAKE UP RIGHT NOW.  I AM NOT GONNA GIVE YOU BREAKFAST !" I heard mom threatening.

"I am up!!" I shouted back.

I looked over to the clock.

11:45 am.

It's not even twelve yet.

I managed to drag myself out of the bed.

After getting ready I went downstairs.

"Good morning mom."

"Good afternoon Ryan." mom replied.

Huh?

I looked over the clock.

12:03pm

"Hehehehhehehe. Sorry mom." I said while hugging her.

" Like father. Like son. By the way, today we are going to visit dad's good friend so dress up well."

"No!"

"Yes."

"But mom-"

"We are going to visit your father's friend today. That's final."

"okay..."

"WHERE ARE WE GOING?!" asked my younger sister, Eva in excitement.

"We are going to visit dad's good friend today." mom replied.

"That's awesome! Wait-" she looked towards me " You Agreed?"

"Yeah... "

She grinned.

"So score is Ryan zero and mom two."

"Two?!"

"Yeah this time and dorm room thing."

Of course!

All the students of Norbert and California are supposed to be in dorm rooms. But I am with my family. I don't know how but mom convinced the school authority to let me be at my house for some time.

Probably she gave a reason of unpacking stuff and all.

And I am shifting in my dorm room in a week.

"Bro! Back to earth." said Eva.

"Yeah. I am gonna go to my room. Call me if you need me."

I went upstairs.

I am so bored!

I took out my phone.

Me : Sup babe?

JULIA'S POV :

I got a text from someone. I quickly opened it hoping it was dad.

But.

God loves me too much!!

Mr. Donkey : Sup babe?

Which I ignored.

I got another text.

Mr. Donkey : I know that you are reading this.

I ignored again.

Mr. Donkey : Wait. Are you drooling on my text?! Geez. I am sorry I would have figured it out earlier. *wink*

Me: Are you for real?!

Mr. Donkey : Knew that would work. So you missed me?

Me: Really?!

Mr. Donkey : Oops sorry. I asked THE OBVIOUS. Of course you missed me.

Me: You gotta be kidding.

Mr. Donkey : I am not. And FYI you need not doodle on my text. We can have a video call.

Me: Are you stupid?! What gave you that idea?!

Mr. Donkey : What idea babe?

Me: That I will doodle on YOUR text.

Mr. Donkey : Of course you will. Who can resist my awesome self ?

Me: Cocky much?

Mr. Donkey: Nah. It's barely one percent babe.

Me: CAN YOU STOP CALLING ME BABE?!!  YOU... COCKY DONKEY!!!

Mr. Donkey : Aww. I am touched.

Me: Huh?

Mr Donkey: You probably have spend hours to think my nickname. I can't believe you spend hours thinking about me.

Me: Are you FOR REAL?!! How many girls do you flirt regularly?

Mr. Donkey : Just you babe. *winks*

With that I closed my phone.

"Julia. Is the guest room arranged?" mom asked.

"Yup!"

"Good! Our guests may any moment now!"

"Mom do you have any idea how many kids dad's friend has?" asked Eva.

" Yeah, Two. One boy and one girl but I am not sure about their age."

"I hope the girl is same age as me!" said Eva.

Eva loves making new friends.

I signed.

"And Ryan please be nice to them."

"Yes mom."

Why did I even agree to this?!

We reached their house.

God. I am gonna die.

JULIA'S POV :

The door bell rang.

Mom rushed out to see if our guests are here.

"Please come in. Children come here."

Luke and I went towards the door together.

I smiled at the lady in the centre.

When my eyes wandered to the person next to her.

My smile dropped.

My eyes widened.

"YOU!"

"YOU!"

and If you are wondering who said that word. Is Ryan and me.  You got it wrong.

It was said by Luke and the girl,probably Ryan's younger sister.

And why does this situation looks familiar?!

Aah. Kate and Alex.

"You both know each other? " asked mom.

"Yup!"

"Yes!"

"That's great! So all of you can go to the drawing room and chat while we are in the kitchen."

Before I could protest against it. Mom turned and started talking to our guests.

No way!!

I have to deal with this idiot for like 5 hrs!!!!

"Hi my name is Eva and this is my elder brother Ryan." said Eva.

"Hi my name is Luke and this is my elder sister Julia." said Luke.

Wow! I didn't knew that I was incapable of introducing myself.

"So how did you guys know each other?" I asked.

"We are in the same class."

"Oh!"

"Yeah.. I also had to leave my school for a year because of my annoying brother"

I laughed.

OML. I love her already.

Suddenly I felt someone's stare.

I turned towards the jerk aka Mr. Donkey.

I raised an eyebrow. What do you want?!

He smirked and turned towards Luke.

Weirdo.

"So if both of you are in the same class. Why were you two not happy to see each other?" Ryan inquired.

OMG! HE CAN ASK SENSIBLE QUESTIONS.

SHOCKING!!

"Well that would have happened if" Eva says with an accusing finger at Luke "he didn't keep a fake spider in my bag."

I glared at Luke.

Wait. Ryan must be angry. Brothers are overprotective about their sisters.

I turned towards him to see his reaction.

Reaction.

"Really?!" he asked shocked.

Luke, you are dead bro. Don't worry I will play BTS songs in your funeral.

"YOU REALLY DID THAT! I AM SO GLAD. YOU DID WHAT I WAS TRYING TO DO ALL MY LIFE!!"

My mouth dropped open.

OML.

HOW CAN I FORGET THAT HE IS A COCKY DONKEY !!!!

Ugh! I really held my expectations high.

I rolled my eyes and saw Eva roll her eyes too.

I chuckled.

She is so cute!

H-HOW CAN SUCH A SANE PERSON HANDLE THIS IDIOT?!!

"Sometimes even I wonder that." Eva whispered.

I smiled at her. She smiled back.

Suddenly the realization dawned on me.

I faced Ryan "You are living with your family? I thought all the California Girls and Norbert boys were supposed to live in dorm rooms?"

The moment I said that Ryan smile dropped and Eva's widened into a grin.

"Cause he can't live without mommy!!" Eva joked.

I laughed so hard that tears came out.

"WHAT?! NO!"

"Sure momma's boy!" I teased.

I expected a glare but I saw Ryan glaring at Eva.

"Okay. Okay. I was joking actually mom needed help for shifting stuff."

"Oh. But I don't know why but the first reason sounds more convincing." I said winking at Eva secretly.

"I know right!"

Soon after half an hour of good talk.

I got to know that Eva is the best girl I have ever met.

"Guys. I will be back in a moment."

With that I excused myself.

I went to my room and looked over the bed.

Sorry buddy. I swear I will spend more time with you.

I then went to the washroom.

After doing my personal business in the washroom. I came out and yawned.

I looked over my bed.

The complete darkness in my room tempted me to just lay down.

But my sub conscious inside and my temptation outside. I decided to just lay down for a minute.

With my eyes closed. I smoothly landed on the bed. But my head hit something hard. Muscular actually.

Wait.

Muscular.

My eyes jot opened.

That was the moment my eyes met familiar charcoal black eyes.

And my next reaction.

I jumped out of the bed. Kept my left hand on my waist and pointed an accusing finger at him. I aske- yelled at him.

"RYAN YOU IDIOT PERSON !! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM?!!"

"Because you missed me. Duh!" said Ryan in matter-of-factly-tone.

"YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!"
