Both of them stopped midway of their greetings.

Their eyes widened.

" YOU ARE ALEX!!!"

"YOU ARE KATE!!! "

JULIA'S POV :

"You guys didn't knew?!" I asked genuinely confused.

"OF COURSE. WE DIDN'T!! " said shouted of them together.

Suddenly they noticed their synchronization. They turned to face each other and grinned.

Grinned?!

Weren't these two fighting a moment ago?!

"Jinx." said both of them again together.

Really?!

"Jinx Again." said both of them again at the same time.

I mentally sighed.

I give up!!

Suddenly I felt something wet against my head. Before I could look up. Kate said

"Guys, I think it's about to rain"

"Yeah. " I mumbled.

"We should head home before it becomes worse." said Kate.

"Yeah you ar- NO!!! " said/screamed Alex. I slightly jumped at his outburst.

"What the hell happened bro?" I asked.

"M-My Chips!! Th-they are all ruined." he says horrified.

I look down at his now-drenched-chips.

What else can you expect from Alex?!

I signed.

Suddenly I got a text from Maria.

Maria: Hey Jules! Can you please tell Renee not to wait for me. I have my library duties shift today.

Me: Okie-Dokie! :)

I signed and waved both of them goodbye to which Kate smiled and replied "bye" while Alex was too busy with his potato-chips-funeral preparations.

I went into my car and drove back home.

Tiredly I reached towards the door knob.

"I am home!" I announced.

"Welcome back sweetie." greeted mom.

I went towards the drawing room and saw Luke watching something on the television.

"Hey bro! " I greeted.

"Yo si- Did somebody prank you?!!" he asked amusingly after looking at my half drenched form.

Yes! The rain loved me too much to let me go home wearing dry clothes.

"It's raining outside your majesty. If you manage get you derŕiere out of the couch."

"What is derŕiereeee?" asked Luke.

"It's derŕiere not derŕiereeee. Btw,It is also known as 'ass'"

"Oh"

"OMG! Sweetie you are quite soaked. Go to your room and change, before you catch cold." said mom in a concerned voice.

"Okay!" I replied.

I went upstairs and changed into warmer clothes.

By the time I returned, I saw a notifications from dad.

I quickly opened it.

Dad: Hey Sweetie!

Me: Hi Dad!

Dad: So how are you all?

Me: Good I guess? You?

Dad: Fine...

Me: Dad when are you returning back home?!

Dad: Within 2 weeks. Missing me already?!

Me: Yes!

Dad: So......

Me: ....?

Dad: Did you FIND YOUR KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR?!!

Me: Really dad?!!

Dad: You are dodging the question sweetie. I guess you found one.

Me: C'MON DAD!! I DON'T HAVE OR NEED ONE!!!

Dad: Sure.....

Me: -_-

Dad: Mwahahhhaaha!!

Me: .......

Dad: Aa, you got lucky sweetie. Gotta Go! Work calls!

Me: Oh okay bye. Take care *ignoring lucky comment*

Dad: Sure. Take care honey! :)

I closed my eyes and a smile enlightenend my features.

I love him!

Suddenly another message popped up but not from dad.

Mr. Donkey : You are thinking about me right?!

Me : What gave you that idea?!

Mr. Donkey: Don't lie!

Me: -_-

Mr. Donkey : What?!

Me: Why are you texting me?!

Mr. Donkey : Cause I don't want you to be bored.

Me: I am not bored! You idiot!

Mr. Donkey : Sure you aren't!

Me: I AM NOT!!

Mr. Donkey : then why did you....

Me: ....?

Mr. Donkey : Reply immediately? Or were you just missing me so much that you kept on staring at my number?

Me:............

Mr. Donkey : Am I wrong?!

Me: You are delusional.

Mr. Donkey: You are free to touch me tomorrow love!

Me: Stop flirting!

Mr. Donkey : Oh please!You love that!

Me: Ryan?

Mr. Donkey : Yes?

Me: By any chance did you......

Mr. Donkey : ...?

Me: ran away from the mental asylum?

Mr. Donkey : Damn! How did you know?!!

Me: it's too obvious!

Mr. Donkey : .......

Me: Mwahahhhaaha!!

Mr. Donkey : Have a nice life.

Me: Without you I will.

Mr. Donkey : Sarcasm I see...

Me: No I am serious

Mr. Donkey : Oh! I thought your name was Julia?

Me: Are you kidding me?!

Mr. Donkey : No. I am Ryan.

Mr. Donkey : So how do feel to be in the same team as me?

Me: Awesome!

Mr. Donkey : Do I sense sarcasm?

Me: Yes! You do. I am the sarcasm princess after all.

Mr. Donkey : Oh! Marry me and you will become my sarcasm queen!

Me: CAN YOU STOP FLIRTING FOR ONCE?!

Mr. Donkey : Lemme see..........no!

Me: Idiot!

Mr. Donkey : Oh mom is calling! Gotta go!Btw don't miss me too much!

Me: I will rather jump off a cliff.

Mr. Donkey : Admit it you will miss me! Mwahahahahaaha!!!

Miss him?!

Hah,never!!

Even though today's day was boring but I feel really tired.

Probably the weather.

With that I drifted into a dreamless sleep.

MARIA'S POV :

Omg! It's raining too heavily.

I sighed.

How the hell am I supposed to go back home?! I don't even have my car dammit!!

Suddenly my thoughts got cut off by our Librarian's voice "Maria thank you so much dear. You may go back home now."

I smiled and went towards the school's exit door.

Okay Maria. Let's give a last try.

Me: Mom. Can you please pick me up from school?

Mom: Sorry hun. I am busy with work right now. I have a client waiting.

Me: Oh okay!

Mom: Sweetie can you please bring groceries on your way back home?

Me : Sure!

Mom : Here is the list! Thanks hun.

Wow!Did I just increased the amount of work for myself ?!

I sluggishly walked out of the school while holding on to my umbrella just the way a zombie walks with a lamp in his hand in horror movies.

I took out my headphones and started walking while humming softly.

I reached the grocery store and started my mission.

Soon enough I bought all my groceries. Just one thing is left. Bread.

But luckily I didn't had to search for it! It was barely twenty steps away from me.

I reached towards the last packet of bread. But the moment I grabbed it another hand reached for it.

I looked up to see the person. Dean.

"Oh, Hi Dean!" I greeted.

"Hi Maria!" he said smiling back.

"You still in.. School uniform?" he asked.

"Yeah. I was helping the librarian." I explained.

"Oh" he replied after awkwardly looking at the packet of bread.

"You know you can have it." I told him.

"What?! No way! You can totally have it. I can go to any other store. Anyways you look tired. " he said.

Aw. He is so sweet!

"Thanks." I thanked him with a smile.

He smiled back.

But God can't watch me happy, right?!

That very moment.

My stomach growls. Loud.

My eyes widened and face turned red with embarrassment.

Shoot!!

I let my eyes travel towards my shoes which was probably the most interesting thing in the world right now. To me at least.

I closed my eyes to prepare for his comment or reaction or him to make fun of me or at least laugh.

But nothing came.

I bravely locked his eyes with mine.

He smiled and said "You look hungry. Let's go somewhere to eat. If you don't mind..."

"That's a great idea! Can you please wait by the time I do the billing?"

"Sure!"

DEAN'S POV :

I am currently waiting for Maria in front of the grocery store.

"Hey! I am back." she said smiling.

She looks cu-

Ugh! What the hell am I thinking?!

I smiled back. "Let's go!"

We are currently inside the restaurant waiting for the waiter.

"Um... Dean?"

"Yes?"

"Just to let you know I am not a dieting type of girl. So.. is that okay? "

I chuckled. "Of course!"

The waiter came and took our orders.

"Maria? "

"Hmm?"

"What gave you the idea that I only go out or hang around with dieting type of girls?!" I asked amusingly.

Her eyes widened.

"I-I didn't mean to offend you or something. I just wanted to c-"

She got cut off by my chuckling.

"Maria. I was just joking!"

She narrowed her eyes at me "Idiot!"

Soon our orders arrived. We talked about random things.

She sure was a great company.

I got to know her better. She is sweet but can stand up for herself.

After we finished. The bill came.

The moment the waiter kept the bill on the table. Maria snatched it.

"I am paying!" she announced.

I took the bill from her. "Sorry but you can't! I asked you to be my guest. So I will pay"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"Yes" she said accidently.

"I win." I declared while she glared at me.

"You cheated."

"Did not! " I defended.

Finally I paid the bill and we moved out of the restaurant.

"it's still raining." she mumbled.

Then she turned towards me. "Thanks for the treat! Bye!"

MARIA'S POV:

"Maria.. Do you want wanna drive back home?!" He offered

"No. Thanks! I have already troubled you so much trouble and al-"

The next thing I knew. I was being dragged by Dean towards the parking lot.

"De-wh-wa-where are we-"

"I am dropping you home."

"But I ca-"

"Maria. I insist."

I gave him the directions to my house.

Soon we reached back home.

"Thanks a ton! Do you wanna come inside?" I offered.

"I would love to but I have to run some errands. Maybe next time?"

"Sure!" I beamed.

I waved him bye and went inside my house.

Today was......

EPIC!!
