Looking around, you can see user names hovering above certain people's heads, helping you distinguish players from AI characters. You just manage to catch a glimpse of yourself in a mirror, the features you've chosen for yourself reflected back at you with a realism that is almost shocking.

A checklist of tasks is in your one hand, an NPC playing the role of your character's guardian taking you by the other to lead you through the tutorial. It seems the game has begun.
