"Karel, my child... Take care of Michelle. If she wants your candy, just give her half. Take care of Tania too, she can't walk yet." Bronya and I heard a man speaking in the darkness. We tried to open our eyes, but the winds were like knives that scraped against our eyelids. There was something more painful than the screeching winds. "Dear child... you have gone before us, to pave a way for your friends."

Bronya regained her vision. She tried to open her eyes, but closed them quickly. She couldn't stop her tears. She saw it, even for the briefest moments. Sunlight. Dazzling and blinding. Only the sun reflected off the snow can be that blinding. I used my Herrscher powers and created a heat wave from my hands to my face. I slowly opened my eyes getting used to the sun light. Bronya tried to open her eyes again. We found ourselves in a snowy location. A tall black priest in a black habit and long blond hair was giving a sermon for someone who died. There was crying. Several familiar figures stood around a tombstone with their heads bowed.

"Children... if you ask me why some people had to leave early... ...it is a trial of Death. There will be no more sorrow, wailing, pain, or terror... it is now... history..." Said the priest. 'That man... Overseer Otto? Principle Theresa and Joachim... in World 2... Seele... will Seele be here?' But then my eyes widened in shock. It was Otto Apocalypse. 'Don't attack. That is not the Otto Apocalypse we know.' I breathed and put my fists down. 'Sorry Drago. Every time I see his face or hear his voice I get so angry that I want to get him out of my sight.' Someone took our hands gently. We turned around and saw Seele standing near us.

"............" Our racing hearts calmed and Bronya gave Seele's hand a gentle squeeze. "Let us return, children. Unless you wish to speak to our friends." Said Otto as he stood up to leave. "Karel, here's your favorite toy car. Joachim and I used crayon to cover the parts where the paint fell off. It's not perfect but..." Theresa finished speaking. Theresa places the wooden car on the tombstone. The children said their parting words and left.

"The priest and the children are heading towards the hill." Said Seele. "We should follow them." Said Bronya. The three of us began to follow them. Bronya trailed behind them with Seele and I. "It's a funeral for a child. No flowers. No photographs. Only a priest and several children. The Bronya... we... we've seen this before..." Said Bronya. "......they're orphans in an orphanage like us." Said Seele. "I haven't. I haven't been to a funeral since I was only below 5 years old. The only thing I remember is going to this funeral in a limo with my family." I said. "Bronya Onee-Chan, Patrick Onii-Chan, look. A wooden cabin! That must be their home!" Said Seele pointing to a cabin.

The children walked through the door one by one. All except us. The priest spoke to them. He and the children seemed close. "That priest is in charge of the orphanage." Said Seele. "The Bronya never expected to meet Overseer Otto..." Said Bronya. "Neither have I. I was hoping never to see him." I said. "Do you know him, Bronya Onee-Chan and Patrick Onii-Chan?" Asked Seele. "He is an evil, dangerous man..." "And a murderer and a backstabber too. He murdered billions of innocent lives." I stomped my foot in the snow. "He is the one in charge of Schicksal. He awakened the 2nd Herrscher and wiped out half of humanity. As a Herrscher I have judged him to be unworthy of living and his existence was a true mistake." Said Drago. "You don't know this yet but after escaping from Schicksal, I found another reason to get stronger... to kill him." I finished speaking in a dark voice once I said "kill." "*gasp*" Seele gasped after her eyes widened in shock. "Did you say kill him?" Asked Seele.

"...I did. That's the only way to make sure that he never awakens anymore Herrschers or experiments on anymore innocent humans with Honkai energy again." "You can't! Killing is wrong!" Red Honkai aura appeared around me. "He murdered billions of innocent lives! Everything was all his fault! The reason why the 2nd Honkai wars started, the reason why Drago and Sirin turned into Herrschers, and the reason why our lives are ruined!" My eyes turned gold as rage was building up inside of me once again.

"It has to be done... So that no more lives are lost from experimentations with Honkai radiation." "Subject Patrick. Killing the Overseer won't change anything about Schicksal. Especially everyone that is loyal to him. There are others that will carry on his will and if you kill him, everyone will see you as a villain. Too many people see Schicksal as their savior. How are you going to prove to billions of people that Overseer Otto is a murderer, a liar, and a villain?" Bronya tried to reason with me. "He is the reason why Kiana turned into the Herrscher of the Void, tricked and used Fu Hua into doing his evil work, and why Himeko is dead!" I shot an energy blast to the distance and exploded on another mountain. "Not only did he kill Fu Hua and Himeko. He killed Kiana's mother Cecelia and lied about the events in Siberia. I'm going to kill him if it's the last thing I do..." "Please stop!" Seele suddenly embraced me. "You're starting to act like Bronya Onee-Chan when she was still a killer and when she killed those people to save me. You've got to listen. You need to stop getting angry."

Suddenly I stopped acting angry then my eyes returned to normal and the aura disappeared from me. I remembered the time I was with Seele when I read her diary out loud to her and when I embraced her and gave her courage and the goodbye kiss she gave me. "...Alright... I'll stop..." "Thank you." Seele finally let me go. "You are still right about one thing. He murdered billions... but he may be different in this world. Matushka Cocolia was completely different in the previous world... Joachim must have the key to rectify this world. The Bronya must approach him." Said Bronya.

Drago's illusion appeared. "I'm sorry Bronya. But every time since escaping from Schicksal HQ and defeating Sirin, my host has been having anger issues and talking violent every time Otto Apocalypse is brought up. He's been putting the blame on him for everything that's happened. We've been plotting on how to kill him and Rita. Even Durandal too. He even raged at Fu Hua with Kiana and accused her for everything she's done for helping the Overseer like he told you before." Explained Drago. "Every time I fought a Honkai beast I tended to go berserk and have traumatic flashbacks from 4 months ago with Kiana like having Heroic: Blue Screen of Death where you suffer from earth shattering events where you suffer from rage and sorrow and death of people you love and unbelievable truths." I said. "The only things that have calmed him down were Fu Hua's embraces, Kiana's love, and now Seele's little sister love." Said Drago. "Anyways we better head inside and learn more." I said as the three of us headed towards the log cabin.

Bronya, Seele, and I entered the building but failed to find the priest. The children sat around a worn table in silence. "Everyone's hungry, right? Guess what I've made for lunch?" Asked Theresa. "No one answered Theresa. She looked a little sad seeing their gloomy faces. "......borscht?" Asked Seele. "No, Seele. That's for Tuesday. Wednesday is for potatoes and roast beef!" Theresa tried to sound excited, but it failed to achieve the desired effects. "Bronya, do you think there are potatoes or beef in this pot?" Asked Theresa. "Potatoes?" Bronya guessed. "Wrong, Bronya! Your punishment is double beef to make you taller!"

"Theresa..." Joachim spoke. "What is it, Joachim?" Asked Theresa. "I know you want us to be happy... but you shouldn't force yourself. Karel's gone. We need time. You need time as well." "That's right. It takes time to move on without people we've known who have passed away. But it looks like it didn't take you that long to accept what's happened." I said. Theresa set aside her ladle and bowed her head. "Joachim, would you not... reconsider?" "I've already decided, Theresa." "......then let's eat."

"Hmm? Everyone's having lunch?" Otto came in wearing a different outfit that Bronya and I knew him by. "Father? You just changed your outfit. Heading to town?" Asked Theresa. "Winter is coming. I need to stock up on more groceries. Theresa, do you want more bitter melon biscuits?" The Priest asked. "Of course I do! I love crispy hot bitter melon biscuits. Thank you, Father!" Theresa beamed. 'Well it's good to know that Theresa in this world also loves Bitter Melon like the Theresa we know.' I said to myself in my mind. "I'll buy a few. Everyone can have a piece or two." Said Otto. "Father... we can't share the bitter melon biscuits. Theresa always ends up eating them all." Said Joachim.

"Oh yes, Joachim... Madam Lizelle will pick you up tomorrow. Are you packed and ready?" Asked The Priest. "......not yet." Answered Joachim. "Then go. Say goodbye to your friends. Make this day count. I'm heading out. Please take care of the house, Theresa." "Be careful out there, Father!" Theresa served the children and picked up their toys. "Does Theresa require assistance?" Asked Bronya. "Hmm... five hampers of laundry, a large pile of bills to check, and a leaking roof at the north end to fix... We're also running low on firewood. Can you help us get some from the hill slope. It will get cold really soon. We must be ready. The boys should be taking care of this because they're stronger. But we lost Karel and Joachim is leaving the orphanage..." Explained Theresa.

What little liveliness left in the place was gone. Bronya did not know what to say. "It's alright. I'll help Bronya Onee-Chan and gather some firewood." Said Seele. "So will I. I'm pretty much the only boy here anyway." I said. "Thank you so much. Get back before sunset! I... I probably need some time alone myself...." Said Theresa. Bronya, Seele, and I went outside again.
