Back at Mondstadt, the sky returned to normal.

Back to us we walked out of the temple.

Paimon: Phew, it's finally done. Well, all that "ley flow" and "elemental lines" stuff Lisa was going on about should hopefully be back to normal. Wanna go back and see how the Knights are doing? But if you got anything more interesting to do, Paimon can come too!

Patrick: We should probably check into an Inn first then go to the Knights of Favonius headquarters.

Paimon: By the way, we obtained another Anemoculus of The Four Winds' temples, right? We might come across them in the future, so don't forget to offer them to the Statues!

In no time we use a Teleport Waypoint and got back to Mondstadt. As soon as we walked through the gate Paimon got in front of us.

Paimon: Hey, guys! There's a lady over there waving to you. Let's go and see what she wants.

Patrick in mind: The Adventurer's Guild. That's right.

We walked up to the Adventurers' Guild Receptionist Katheryne.

Katheryne: Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild. Actually, I have had my eye on you six for a long time.

Paimon: You've had your eye on them, eh? Have they been causing some mischief?

Katheryne: Oh, that is not what I meant at all. Being on the lookout for great adventurers is part of my job. When I look at you six, I see one with the potential to rival the great adventurers of legends.

Paimon: Paimon sees it too. Paimon always feels safe when adventuring with them.

Kiana: And I always feel safe when I'm adventuring with Mei!

Katheryne: Nevertheless, to the adventurer, experience is far more precious than potential. You must accumulate Adventure EXP to increase your Adventure Rank. Time is of the essence. Allow me to brief you on—

Paimon: Wait! Are you saying we're like, official adventurers now?

Katheryne: Do not worry, the Adventurers' Guild does not charge a membership fee or impose any kind of duties on its members. In short, there are lots of benefits but no drawbacks to becoming a member.

Aether: Alright then...

Katheryne: Basically, the Adventurers' Guild rewards you every time your Adventurer Rank increases. Here are new members' gifts for you. You will need to return here to claim rewards in the future.

With that we got our rewards.

Katheryne: Without further ado, please allow me to officially introduce you, our new avid adventurers, into our Guild! Here are your Adventurer Handbooks.

We were each given an Adventurer Handbook.

Aether: This looks more like a marketing pamphlet...

Katheryne: It is, in a way. But it has some practical uses too. It has a record of available commissions and rewards. And it is also proof of your membership. Oh, and one more thing. Sometimes, you will find yourself stuck at a certain Adventure Rank. When this happens, you need to perform some impressive feats to gain further recognition from the Guild.

Paimon: Impressive feats? Sounds like hazing to me.

Katheryne: They are simply specific adventures that allow you to ascend to the next Adventure Rank on compilation. Ascension adventures, if you will. But that will come later. Opportunities to win recognition will come as you gain more adventure experience. That will do for today. We will have plenty of chances to meet in the future. Ad astra abyssosque, Adventurers! With effort, you shall reach the stars and conquer the abyss!

As soon as we left, Paimon smelled something.

Paimon: Ooh! Paimon can smell Fisherman's Toast! Mmmm The aroma is coming from Good Hunter! A thick slice of soft white toast... Topped with a generous serving of onion slices, lightly caramelized by the toasting... Yum yum! Paimon's made up her mind! It's an emergency! We must order ourselves a generous serving of Fisherman's Toast from Good Hunter, pronto! It's on you, of course!

After getting some Fisherman's Toast we sat down at the water fountain and enjoyed our toast.

Kiana and Paimon: It's so delicious! *om nom nom*

Paimon: Good Hunter's Fisherman's Toast is the best! This might surprise you, but it's actually a classic Mondstadt recipe that anyone can cook. You can try it yourself if you have the ingredients. Can any of your cooking skills surpass that of Good Hunter's?

Kiana: The only toast I know how to make is Pizza Toast but maybe Mei's cooking skill can.

Paimon: Why, Paimon would love to be your personal taster! Don't you let me down!

Mei: We won't.

(Later)

We got checked into one of Mondstadt's Inns and chose a really nice Inn. We had gotten two rooms. One where the boys sleep in and one where the girls sleep in.

Kiana: Mmm! I'm beat! Feels good to finally lay down!

Mei: So much happened on our first day, so it would be tiring.

Bronya: Being adventurers again brings the Bronya back memories of being in Dirac, the Land of Everwinter.

Seele: Well I did create it from our fairy tale mixed with "Alice In Wonderland". But my role selection got corrupted and most of everyone got the wrong roles. I've apologized for that.

In the other room, Aether, Paimon, and I could hear the girls talking.

Patrick: A lot of boys and men are going to get jealous of us.

Aether: Why is that?

Patrick: Because two boys with four cute girls like one boy with a lot of cute girls will make us stand out with everyone staring at us not in a good way which gets super awkward. I know from personal experience when I'm out in public with the girls, people always stare at me.

Paimon: Is that always bad?

Patrick: Yes. I've gotten used to it after a long time. I've known other guys that had only cute girls in their guild parties. This guy named Touya only had a party of cute girls, this other guy named Kazuma also only had a party of cute girls one of them being a goddess of water, I even knew this guy named Subaru who only had a party of girls, there is also Naofumi who also only had a party of girls, some other guy named Kuromu was also in a guild of cute girls, and this other guy named Diablo was also in a party of cute girls. You'll understand once people start staring at us.

Paimon: Does everyone mistake you having a harem?

Patrick: Most people do. But I have no interest in harems.

Aether: How exactly do you get along with them?

Patrick: It took a while to get along with them and for them to accept me and to put gender differences aside. Kiana I appreciate the most because our families knew each other and we were born on the 7th date of a month. She was born in December while I was born in January the month after. Mei is the one that does the cooking and other house stuff for us. Bronya loves playing games like I do so I tend to play with her often. And Seele feels like a little sister to me when she calms me down every time I get angry and when I'm feeling sad. She also likes calling me big brother like how she calls Bronya big sister. Bronya and I know how it feels being separated from siblings.

I told Bronya and Seele's backstory to Aether and Paimon and left out everything modern.

Patrick: That was how Bronya was unable to feel emotion again and how Seele was separated from Bronya. For years they were separated till Bronya and I traveled through the Sea of Quanta and found her and got her out of there.

Paimon: That was so deep and emotional.

Patrick: I know. You should ask them about it to learn more, right now there is one thing we have to do.

(Later)

We returned yo the blacksmith with a lot of Iron Chunks and Ores.

Wagner: What do you want?

Aether: Remember, you sent us to get Iron Chunks...

Patrick: And we have them right here.

We showed Wagner the Iron Chunks.

Wagner: Oh. Yes, I'd forgotten about that. These are okay I guess. Should be able to salvage something from them.

Patrick: Then make us some weapons.

(Later)

We each got new weapons.

I got two new duel wielding swords with green and red handles while the blades had dragons going up them. Kiana got a new crossbow with her colors and had the Kaslana symbol on it. She also had gotten a new sword with a white and golden hilt and a new lance with colors of white and gold. Mei had gotten two new katanas with her colors. Bronya had gotten a new staff with her colors. Seele had gotten a new scythe with her colors. And Aether had gotten a new sword in his colors.

Wagner: If you ever find ore in the future, you can always come and see me. Ideally when I'm not busy.

Aether: You seem to be in a bad mood.

Wagner: A blacksmith's work takes focus and concentration. It does not take a small talk with customers. When the craft is good, business is good. That's all there is to this trade, and anyone who tells you different is trying to con you. If there's nothing else, I'll carry on with my work.

We started going back to the Inn.

Paimon: He's certainly committed to his work, Paimon'll give him that. His temper isn't great, but leave it to him and he'll be able to forge what you need!

Everyone: Yeah...

(Night)

After celebrating our first day in Teyvat and first mission with a meal at one of Mondstadt's taverns, we went back to the Inn to go to bed. Everyone was asleep except me.

Patrick: First day in Teyvat and we've made some good progress. I wonder what everyone else is doing? I hope that they're all safe and doing fine without us. We're gonna be able to find them like Bronya and I did in Dirac. Better get some shut eye.

Finally I fell asleep like everyone else.
