taking one last look at the now fossilized Stonemover, Horizon flew into the sky in search of Dinner. he landed in the nearest forest from Jade mountain and found a small burrow. he waited until it was time for the fox to serve breakfast. When it was time, Dinner emerged from the burrow with three small hares. he looked at Horizon and froze with his tail between his legs. Dinner's eyes locked with his and Horizon reluctantly spoke Stonemover's name slowly. the fox's eyes turned a stony grey and Horizon had to look away to block the sad memories of Stonemover. minutes after, he heard the small patter of paws and the crunch of leaves as dinner returned to his home and his family. horizon sighed and, pendant in talon, spread his wings and flew off into the desert.

he hated the dessert; the only memories he had there were bad, and even though he was only a little dragonet and he forget most of the details, the only good thing he remembered was his mother, and he had no idea where she could be or even if she was still alive. he sighed again, thinking, how will i ever find a new home?
