Darkness fell on Horizon View Academy, the night announcement was made. They could sleep like good little students, unless their Origin prohibits this, or they could go out and explore. Be warned, this can have consequences!

Cloud was fast asleep in their dorm. It was very spacious and had a white colour theme. There was a trampoline to jump and float with and lots of fluffy things! A fluffy rug, fluffy blankets and even a fluffy chair. E.P.R wasn't asleep but he had plugged himself in to charge in his room. It was incredibly neat, various technological objects, books to read and it was dimly lit. Around the room, there were also many puzzles for him to solve as well as light purple wallpaper and a small charging area in the corner to replace a bed. Ivy had fallen asleep in a sleeping bag in her room, a book for her pillow. It had light green wallpaper and there were multiple shelves and areas for her to store and display her stolen goodies. There was even a plush toy of sweet berries, along with a bookshelf. She quietly crept out, careful not to wake anyone.

Jay was awake, next to a lamp in their room, reading. Their room was absolutely massive and already incredibly messy. There were various piece of mini furniture and a whole wall covered in blank, multicoloured post-it notes so it was hard to tell it was a white wall. Jay closed the book and grabbed a piece of paper, which happened to be bigger than they were and began running across the paper with their pencil, which seemed giant, and started sketching. Fern was curled up in her bed, surrounded by scattered pieces of paper that she'd been writing on. Her room was similar to Ivy's but her's had forest green wallpaper and a pin-board on the wall for her to plot her schemes out. There was a messy bookshelf, a small but warm bed and a writing desk. There were also a few platforms that she could practise jumping on and a tunnel for her to hide in. Circe was memorising every nook and cranny of her room. Purple wallpaper, bookshelf and a model of a pillager outpost. There were two beanbags and a moderately sized bed and various emerald or magic themed decorations. Renée had already fallen asleep, her room reminded her of home. It had high ceilings, dark purple walls and plenty of curious 'human' objects for her to examine. Not to mention the various dragon themed decorations and a rug that looked like endstone. Alexa was also fast asleep, her Origin made that very important. Ivy slipped into the dorm.

"Fern? Oh, you're probably in your room." Ivy whispered, heading inside Fern's room.

Fern was still fast asleep, her tail flicking lightly.

"Fern? You asleep?" Ivy asked, walking in.

Fern responded by rolling over.

"So like, maybe?" She raised a brow.

Yes. The answer was yes.

"Ugh, I just wanted to check up on you but I'm bored and  no one is awake." Ivy complained.

Fern definitely wasn't waking up anytime soon.

Ivy sighed,"Who else is in this dorm...?"

Ivy then slipped out and began to search the other dorms for people who were awake.

Luna sat quietly in her room, fiddling with the hem of her lilac pyjama top. She fell back onto her bed, bored. She wanted to go outside. She knew that it wasn't really... Allowed, but she was quiet. She wouldn't let herself get caught. With her mind made up, she slipped on her favourite inky hoodie and crept out into the main part of the dorm. Calypso hadn't gone to his room, he'd gotten distracted with doing his hair and so was still in the main room, armed with a hairbrush. Luna bristled as she caught sight of him but forced herself to relax. Calypso sat his brush down as he began to braid his hair, luckily not catching sight of her. Luna released a silent breath, wondering hopelessly how she could escape the room without him noticing. This task would be very difficult as he was facing the door. Luna's violet wings twitched and she tiptoed over to the long couch, semi-ducking behind it. Her one visible eye narrowed. She had no idea how to get out. She huffed a silent sigh, pulling her single white bang of hair in front of her face before creeping over to one of the sofas, edging little by little towards the door.

"Y'know, if you wanted to sneak out, you could've just told me." Calypso chuckled.

Ivy slipped into the dorm,"Ah! Finally, people who are awake!"

"Another sneaky one, good evening." Calypso nodded.

"What dorm are you supposed to be in?" Abigail asked, walking out.

"What the-" Calypso turned around.

"Dorm two, I think." Ivy replied.

"Huh." Abigail nodded slowly,"Well, I heard a bunch of yelling coming from dorm four. Want to see what that's about?"

Ivy beamed,"That's the most interesting thing I've heard in twenty-four hours. Let's go check it out, my dorm is boring!"

"Is there any water?" Calypso asked,"If so, I'll find a way."

"I'm not sure." Abigail shrugged.

"Well, let's go." Calypso swam underneath the surface of his pool.

Ivy opened the door,"Someone-who's-not-me first."

Abigail walked out, chuckling slightly,"Let's go."

Ryland pondered going out to his room. His room was also quite large, with black walls, a gray floor and a white ceiling. He had many places to hide, various plants and little furniture, he enjoyed the cozy beanbags. Valkyrie was perched on her bedpost, sound asleep. Her room had an incredibly high ceiling and came with a balcony and skylight for her to fly from! She had a nice looking bed but she preferred perching on the post and the walls were a light blue. There was a large bookshelf but it also had various empty picture frames for her to fill. Charlotte and Shelby were having a pillow fight in Charlotte's room. It was full of very bouncy things like slime blocks and marshland decor. There was a slime block light, mushroom stools and a frog themed mirror. There was a frog plush toy and pale green walls, as well as multiple azure bluet in little plant pots.

"SURRENDER SHULK! I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND!" Charlotte shouted.

"NEVER!" Shelby shouted back as she climbed up the pile of pillows and hit Charlotte with her pillow.

Charlotte hit her back and knocked
Shelby off,"I win!"

"NO! I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!" Shelby exclaimed.

They fought for a little more and Charlotte came out the victor.

"You may have won this battle, but I will win the war!" Shelby burst into giggles.

Calypso swam in through his water tunnels and arrived in the wall, behind some glass. He squinted and tapped on the glass as the other two walked in.

Ivy stared in disbelief,"Aw, man! Why can't my dorm be like this?"

"Because they're normal people who enjoy sleeping." Calypso rolled his eyes.

"I never said we had to be interesting at night time, just in general." Ivy pouted.

Charlotte turned and waved,"Hi!"

"You look squishy." Calypso waved back.

"Pfft-" Ivy covered her mouth.

"Yeah, I am. And Shelby's hard." She knocked on her friend's head and Shelby swatted her away.

Abigail then burst in through the door,"HI!"

I'm scaly, well, kind of." Calypso shrugged.

"Cool!" Charlotte turned her attention to the human,"I'm Charlotte!"

"My name is Abigail." She responded.

"Calypso."

"And I'm Ivy."

"Cool! Wanna join in our pillow fight?" Charlotte asked.

"I wish I could." Calypso sighed.

"Yeah, me too." Charlotte nodded.

Shelby grabbed something and went up to the glass. She climbed up a ladder to the top of the aquarium.

"If you can come to the top, I have a cookie!" She shouted.

Charlotte's head shot up,"HEY! I WANT ONE!"

"Alright." Calypso rolled his eyes.

Charlotte bounded up to the ladder and demanded,"This is my room. I want a cookie."

"No! My cookies." Shelby shook her head.

"You are both children." Calypso sighed, poking his head under the water.

"Yep!" Charlotte nodded.

"That's what's so fun!" Shelby handed him one of the cookies.

Charlotte frowned,"Can I please have one of the cookies?"

Shelby sighed,"Fine."

Calypso took his cookie and began to eat it as Ivy watched the scene unfold.

"I bet I could steal one of those cookies." She thought.

Calypso finished his cookie and sank to the bottom of his tank as Ivy casually walked over to where the cookies were and waited to turn invisible.

Shelby looked up,"Oh, want a cookie?"

"Looks like these people are pretty nice!" Ivy thought before speaking happily,"Why thank you! As a matter of fact, I would!"

Shelby handed Ivy a cookie,"Here you go."

Charlotte huffed,"So you let these people have cookies but not me?"

"That's because you're my best friend and best friends like to tease each other." Shelby nudged her before holding out a cookie," Anyway, here you go, Charlotte."

"Happy now?" Calypso raised a brow.

Ivy nodded, happily munching on her cookie.
