Charlie, Vaggie, and Angel Dust stare at her in shock.

"Wait, really?" Charlie asked, looking excited.

"I've worked at hotels before, so I have familiarity with them. Furthermore, I think your proposal is a brilliant idea. It's a major deal. Please allow me to be your helpful hand if you think this could aid those demons." Damari said.

"You really think so?" Vaggie asked.

"Yes. I picked up one thing from the book of Galatians; 'If someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently'."

Charlie grinned and hugged Damari.

"Oh, thank you, thank you! You're so sweet! And don't worry, I'll help find a way to get you back home safe and sound."

Damari looked up to her.

"You promise??"

"I pinky promise!" Charlie said, bringing out her pinky.

Damari smiled and linked her pinky with hers. This is going be an interesting adventure for her.

The limousine arrives at the hotel. As the hotel door opens to show a very old and run-down establishment, Damari grimaces at how deserted it appeared and makes a mental note to make a project design. She also will create a larger design to consider for the interior. Vaggie throws herself on the couch, facing the wall.

"Ugh!!" Vaggie groaned in annoyance.

Angel rummages through the fridge leaning by the wall and grabbing a box of Popsies. Damari notices the box is leaking, meaning the Popsies are melting. Angel couldn't care less and takes one out and licks it. Charlie sits on the crate, looking downcast. Damari frowns and sits down next to her, attempting to comfort her to which she appreciates it. Angel notices and attempts to cheer her up.

"Eh, it's probably a good idea to get some actual food in this place. Y'know, to feed all the wayward souls you got in here! Ahahaha! Ahaha...! eh... ah..."

Seeing that Charlie isn't laughing while Damari gives him a look that now isn't a good time, Angel closes the fridge door as he tries to comfort Charlie but decides to back off. Charlie gets up and exits the hotel. Damari feels that she needs help as follows after her.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Outside of the hotel, Charlie pulls out her phone and contacts her mother. She puts her phone up to her ear and hears it ringing for a second until it bleeps, showing that her mother is not answering. Charlie sighs and leaves a voicemail.
"Hey, mom. I know I keep calling and you must be busy... Really busy... But, um, the interview didn't go well,"
She shrinks to her knees.
"And... I don't know if I'm ever going to make a difference."
Charlie starts tearing up as she wipes it off her face.
"I don't know what I'm doing. I could really use some advice, mom. I... I think dad was right about me... Ahah, oof, eh, anyway..."
She wipes her face once more and stands up.
"I'll stop talking before this gets long. Love you, bye..."
Charlie hangs up and goes to walk in when she notices the door opens to reveal a concerned Damari.
"Everything okay? Sorry, I overheard you."
"It's fine..." Charlie said, glancing away.
"You know, I don't think you need get support from your parents and other demons there. You gotta start believing yourself."
"There's no point." Charlie sighed.
"That's where you're wrong. I mean, who cares what the other demons say. If they don't like it, then that's their problem, not yours. You're not the problem here. It's those who don't believe in changing things to be good again." Damari said, placing a hand on Charlie's shoulder. "You need to fight, Charlie. Show them that anything is possible."
A light shines on Charlie and the place disappears. She looks up at row upon row of different mirrors and Damari's face appears in them.
There's always gonna be someone
Tryin' to tear you down
Mockin' you for your mistakes
Oh
Charlie turns to find Damari a few feet apart from her with a spotlight shining on her as well as the mirrors made a path.
There's always gonna be someone
Messin' your head around
Damari holds out a hand and Charlie smiles and runs up to her.
Watchin' you to see you break
So
The mirrors flipped down to make stairs as Damari runs upstairs with Charlie following after.
Don't you let 'em call you out
Brush away the shame and doubt
Remember what you're all about
And then
Damari and Charlie take each other's hands and jumps off and goes through the bright mirror like a portal as they're in the purple galaxy full of stars. They land on another mirror that lights up below them.
Show 'em who you are
Show 'em that you're strong
Show 'em that you know where you belong
Different mirrors shows Charlie's face in them as she smiles. More mirrors appear and surround them.
Open up their eyes
Force 'em all to see
Let 'em know you are
And you'll always be
Unbreakable
Lights flashes through the mirrors and stars sparkle in the spaces in between as Charlie looks around in awe.
Unbreakable
Unbreakable
Unbreakable, yeah
Charlie starts singing.
There's always gonna be someone
Sayin' you're somethin' less
Damari sings next.
Let 'em talk
You know your heart
Damari and Charlie take each other's hand and spin around.
Oh
The two started running up the mirror stairs.
There's always gonna be someone
Callin' you second best
Shut 'em down
Don't fall apart
No
They meet on the top and land on the mirror as the light and sparkle glows below them.
Don't you let 'em in your head
Doesn't matter what they said
Get up on your feet instead
And then
Damari and Charlie jumps up and flies past each other with stars trailing behind them, landing on the mirror. The two begin sliding through the mirrors with their own color trailing beneath their feet.
Show 'em who you are
Show 'em that you're strong
Show 'em they've been
Seeing you all wrong
Damari and Charlie meet each other on the end of the mirror and float towards each other as they take each other's hand.
Open up their minds
Throw away the key
Tell 'em that you are
And you'll always be
Unbreakable
Damari and Charlie jump down floating stairs of mirrors as their own color glows underneath them.
Unbreakable, yeah
Charlie looks around the mirrors full of Damari's face as she glides through.
You define yourself
Damari too is looking at the mirrors full of Charlie's face and gliding as she vocalizes.
You and no one else
They meet each other towards the big mirror as they see the reflection of each other. They reach toward each other's hands once again.
Show 'em who you are
Show 'em that you're strong
They places their hands against each other's through the mirror as they glow.
Show 'em that you've known it
All along
Open every door
The mirror in front of them exploded into stars as they face each other fully and holding onto each other's hands.
Own your destiny
Live as if you are
What you were
And you've been
And you'll always be
Unbreakable
Faces of people appear in the flashing mirrors, both demons and humans.
Unbreakable
Unbreakable
The mirror spin, coming together in the form of circles around Damari and Charlie. Then explode into a bright light.
Unbreakable
Unbreakable
Damari and Charlie then hug each other. They eventually found each other back outside the hotel. Charlie releases herself from the hug.
"Thank you, Damari. I'll return the favor."
"No need. Cheering you up is the best I can do." Damari said, opening the door for Charlie to go inside.
Charlie goes inside, nodding to her in thanks before Damari comes in last. Charlie and Damari were about to see Vaggie and Angel when a sudden knock can be heard from the other side of the door, surprising them. Charlie urges her to hide as Damari did by running away to find some place to hide. Charlie turns back and contemplates on whether or not to open the door but decides to open it anyway
The mysterious figure watching her performance from before can be seen standing before her as he opens his glowing red eyes. He is a slim, dapper sinner demon with beige-colored skin, and usually has a broad smile full of sharp, yellow teeth.
He sports a pinkish-red cropped, angled bob-cut with black tips at the ends and two large, black tipped tufts of hair extending from the top of his head, evoking the ears of a deer. The style has an undercut at the back, and two small black antlers protruding from the crown, which can grow in size in his full demonic form. His eyes have dark-red sclerae, bright-red irises and thin black pupils. His forearms and lower legs fade to dark grey, and he has red hoofed toes and red fingers.
He wears a red pinstripe coat with dark-red lapels piped with white, which is ragged along the bottom hem. Underneath this he wears a bright red dress-shirt with a black cross on the chest, and long black dress pants with matching bright red cuffs. He also wears a dark-red oval-shaped monocle, rimmed with black, over his right eye.
He accessorizes with a black knotted bowtie with a bright red center, black gloves with red at the fingertips, and black pointed-toe boots with red deer hoofprints emblazoned on the soles. And carries a thin cane with a sentient vintage style microphone attached to it.
"Hel—"
He gets door slammed in front of him by Charlie. She looks to the side for a brief moment before opening the door again.
"—lo!" he finished before getting door slammed in front of his once more.
"Hey, Vaggie?" Charlie called nervously.
"Whaaaat?" Vaggie answered in annoyance.
"The Radio Demon is at the door!" Charlie said, gesturing a smiling face gesture on her face.
Vaggie sits up, fully alarmed.
"What?!"
Angel takes out the popsicle from his mouth.
"Uh... who?" he asked.
Damari peeks her head out from the cover of the crate she's hiding inside.
"What should I do?!" Charlie asked, looking scared.
"Uh, well- Don't let him in!" Vaggie said.
Charlie decides to disregard Vaggie's advice once more and opens the door for the deer demon.
"May I speak now?" he asked.
"You may..." Charlie started.
He cuts her off and reaches a hand out.
"Alastor! Pleasure to be meeting you, sweetheart!" Alastor introduced himself, pulling Charlie towards him. "Quite a pleasure!"
Alastor then lets himself in. Hearing those footsteps made Damari quickly hide back inside the crate, peeking an hole that was made as she listens.
"Excuse my sudden visit, but I saw your fiasco on a picture show, and I just couldn't resist! What a performance! Why, I haven't been that entertained since the stock market crash of 1929! Hahahahaha, sooo many orphans..." Alastor said, playing with his mic staff.
Vaggie holds a harpoon towards his chest, cutting him off.
"Stop right there, cabrón hijo de perra (bastard son of a bitch)! I know your game and I'm not gonna let you hurt anyone here, you pompous cheesy talkshow shitlord!"
Angel's head pops in, unamused as Alastor uses his finger to move the harpoon away.
"Dear, if I wanted to hurt anyone here..."
He then turns into his demonic form*
"I would've done so already..."
The screen distorts as Charlie and Vaggie stare at him in fear, even Damari is terrified as she shrinks herself down. Alastor quickly snaps back to reality.
"No! I'm here because I want to help!" he said.
"Say what now?" Charlie raised her eyebrow.
"Help!" Alastor repeated himself, tapping on his mic. "Hahaha, hello? Is this thing on? Testing, testing!"
Alastor's mic opens its eye and speaks.
"Well, I heard you loud and clear!"
"Um, you want to help? With...?" Charlie asked.
Alastor teleports behind the two with his shadow.
"This ridiculous thing you're trying to do! This hotel! I want to help you run it."
"Buuut... why?" Charlie asked again.
"Hahaha, why does anyone do anything? Sheer, absolute boredom! I've lacked inspiration for decades."
Alastor leans himself against Vaggie until he shoves her off.
"My work became mundane, lacking focus, aimless! I've come to crave a new form of entertainment! Hahaha!"
"Does getting into a fistfight with a reporter count as entertainment...?" Charlie asked with a nervous smile.
"Hahaha! It's the purest kind, my dear: Reality! True passion! After all, the world is a stage and the stage is a world of entertainment." Alastor grinned.
Charlie looks hopeful as she asks him again.
"So, does this mean you think it's possible to rehabilitate a demon?"
"Hahahahaha!"
Alastor shakes hand in front of her, much to her dismay.
"Of course not! That's wacky nonsense!"
He shakes head back and forth.
"Redemption, oh the non-existent humanity! No, no, no, no. I don't think there's anything left that could save such loathsome sinners!"
He looks over to Vaggie who is offended and Angel who just shrugs with Damari blinking through the hole, which Alastor didn't notice just yet.
"The chance given was the life they lived before, the punishment is this! There is no undoing what is done!" Alastor said, putting his arms out and gesturing the entirety of Hell.
"So, then. Why do you wanna help me if you don't believe in my cause?" Charlie asked, looking confused.
"Consider it an investment in ongoing entertainment for myself!"
Alastor pulls Charlie close to him and twirls her.
"I want to watch the scum of the world struggle to climb up the hill of betterment only to repeatedly trip and tumble down to the fiery pit of failure!" he said, grinning darkly at the end.
Charlie removes his hand from her back.
"Riiiight."
"Yes, indeedy!"
Alastor grabs her by the waist and drags her off somewhere.
"I see big things coming your way and who better to help you than I?..."
As the two talk, Angel turns to Vaggie.
"Uh, so... uh, what's the deal with Smiles over there?"he asked, gesturing to Alastor.
"Wait, you've never heard of him before? You've been here longer than me!" Vaggie asked in exasperation.
Angel shrugs cluelessly. Damari carefully peeks her head out, but not fully.
"The Radio Demon. One of the most powerful beings Hell has ever seen?" Vaggie asked, hoping he would get it.
Angel shrugs a second time.
"Eh, not big on politics."
"How powerful are we talking about?" Damari asked.
"I'll tell you since you're curious." Vaggie said softly before glaring at Angel, leaning in on him as she began her story. "Decades ago, Alastor manifested in Hell seemingly overnight. He began to topple Overlords who have been dominant for centuries. That kind of raw power had never been harnessed by a mortal soul before. Then, he broadcast his carnage all throughout Hell just so everyone could witness his ability. Sinners started calling him "The Radio Demon" (as lazy as that is). Many have speculated what unimaginable force enabled him to rival our world's most ancient and destructive evils. But one thing's for sure: He's an unpredictable source of danger, a wicked spirit of mystery, and a violent monster of chaos, the likes of which we can't risk getting involved with unless we want to end up erased!"
As she continues to narrate the tale, Damari grows more concerned because she was relieved to meet demons, Charlie, Vaggie, Angel, and Cherri, that weren't as evil as the overlords.
"Ya done?" Angel asked before laughing dryly. "He looks like a strawberry pimp.'
As if on cue, Alastor summons his mic staff.
"Well, I don't trust him!" Vaggie said, crossing her arms.
"To be fair, do you trust any man? Any men? Men?" Angel asked.
Ignoring him, she turns around and grabs Charlie by the shoulder.
"Charlie, listen to me. You can't believe this creep! He isn't just a happy face! He's a deal-maker! Pure evil! He can't be redeemed! ...And is most likely looking for a way to destroy everything we're trying to do!"
"I..." Charlie sighed. "We don't know that! Look, I know he's bad, and I know he probably doesn't wanna change, but the whole point of this is to give people a chance!"
Alastor examines a picture of the royal family. Nevertheless, he pauses and walks over to the black backpack Damari left on the couch next to Angel. Angel notices and begins to perspire uncomfortably as he tries to avoid looking at the crate Damari is hiding in. Alastor sniffs it and examines it.
"To have faith things will be better! How can I turn someone away? I can't. It goes against everything I'm trying to do. Everything I believe in." Charlie said, putting her hands on Vaggie's shoulders. "Just... trust me. I can take care of myself!"
Vaggie hesitates for a moment and then gives in.
"Charlie, whatever you do, do not make a deal with him!"
Alastor makes a gesture with his hand, seemingly focusing on Vaggie while looking at Damari's backpack.
"Don't worry, I picked up one thing from my dad!" Charlie starts imitating her dad's voice. "'You don't take shit from other demons!'"
Charlie walks off to where Alastor is.
"Okay, so, Al. You're sketchy as fuck and you clearly see what I'm trying to do here as a joke."
As Charlie turns away, glowing red symbols start to appear beside Alastor which quickly disappear after Charlie turns back to Alastor.
"But, I don't. I think everyone deserves a chance to prove they can be better. So, I'm taking your offer to help. On the condition that there be no tricks or voodoo strings attached." Charlie said, making gestures with hands.
"So, it's a deal, then?"
As Alastor rolls his eyes at that last statement, he twirls his mic staff and presents his hand for a handshake as green energy bursts throughout the hotel. Charlie quickly refuses his handshake as she moves his hand away.
"Nope! No shaking! No deals! I... hmm... As princess of Hell and heir to the throne, I, uh, hereby order that you help with this hotel. For as long as you desire."
A howling wolf can be heard in the background as Charlie looks over to Vaggie for approval, who glances away.
"Sound fair?"
Alastor rubs his chin for a moment before agreeing.
"Hmm... Fair enough!"he said, retracting his mic staff.
"Cool beans." Charlie sighed in relief, giving out two thumbs up.
"Hmm hm hmm hmm..."
Alastor continues to hum while looking around as he stops in front of Vaggie.
"Smile, my dear!"
He tickles the underside of her chin, making her start to release hot kettle of her anger.
"You know you're never fully dressed without one!"
He then walks away as he continues humming with Vaggie glaring daggers at him.
"So where is your hotel staff?"
"Uh, well-"
Charlie gestures to Vaggie who's staring at Alastor dead in the eyes. Alastor adjusts his monocle as he chuckles.
"Ohohoho, you're going to need more than that."
He walks towards Angel Dust.
"And what can you do, my effeminate fellow?"
"I can suck your dick!" Angel grinned without shame.
Mic feedback can be heard in the background as Alastor tries to process what he was just offered and quickly snaps back to reality.
"HAH! No."
"Your loss." Angel scoffed.
"Now, before I help, I'm curious to know something."
He had Charlie and Vaggie puzzled until, to their horror, he pulled out Damari's backpack.
"You never told me you had a... visitor. And this one reeks of... human. Tell me, where is that lovely guest of yours?" Alastor asked, looming over to them.
"Uh... I don't know what you're talking about. That could be anyone's." Charlie lied through her nervous smile.
Vaggie snatches Damari's backpack back.
"Yeah, and there's isn't anyone besides me, Charlie, and Angel Dust." Vaggie added.
"Hmm..."
Alastor scans the area before he notices that Angel is focusing on the crate. To Angel's fear and shame, he slowly moves toward it as he follows his gaze. When Damari sees him coming toward her, she shuts her mouth and stays silent.
Charlie, Vaggie, and Angel hold their breath as Alastor pulls to a stop in front of them and begins to open the crate carefully. As soon as her hiding place was revealed, Damari's heart began to beat rapidly. As soon as he sees her, Alastor smiles widely.
"Well, well, what a lovely fresh meat you brought in..." he said in a demonic tone.
Damari gasps as she looks up at Alastor, knowing there is nothing she can do to get away or defend herself given the knowledge of his power that she gained through Vaggie's tale.
