Charlie looks down at the short angler fish demon, who's looking at the blue alive suitcase crab form.

"Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel!" she greeted. "And what is your name?"

The angler fish demon got up and turned around to face her, fixing his glasses.

"My name is Baxter." he introduced himself.

"Ooh!! Baxter! That's a fun name. Are you checking in with us?"

"I attend to. Yes." Baxter answered, crossing his hands behind his back with a closed eye grin.

Charlie stands up and cups her cheeks, appearing excited.

"Oh, that's great! Aww!"

She kneels down to his level and coos.

"Look at your little lab coat! It's very cute!"

This left Baxter unamused until Charlie gasped in realization.

"Are you an inventor?"

Baxter immediately snapped.

"Don't belittle me, woman! I am not an inventor, I am a scientist. There's a difference. Some could classify me as... mad scientist." he explained before giggling evilly.

"Pentious was an inventor. That's so cool. I bet you're just like him!" Charlie said.

"If you're referring to that pompous snake, I'd like it known I am nothing like him." Baxter said.

Charlie didn't listen and grabbed Baxter by the wrist, pulling him towards the paparazzi and Vaggie, who's trying to calm down the paparazzi.

"Hey, everyone! Meet Pentious!"

"Baxter!" Baxter corrected, deadpanning.

"That's right! Baxter! And he's here to be redeemed. Penxter, Baxter! Sorry, sorry!Penxter! Baxter! Sorry, Baxter, Baxter, Baxter..."

The reporters were confused with Charlie's rambling while Vaggie face palmed herself. Clearly, Charlie hasn't gotten over Pentious' "death".

"I am here to study this fascinating concept of redemption. My hypothesis is that it's impossible." Baxter explained his reasoning for coming here.

Damari dodge past the paparazzi that are in front of the new Hazbin Hotel while apologizing and excusing anyone she walk by. She sees Charlie and Vaggie in front and wave at them.

"Hey, Charlie and Vaggie!" she greeted, finally getting out of the paparazzi.

Baxter froze at the sound of her voice that repeated in his head for a second and turned around to see a human girl standing before him. In his eyes, sparkles are all around Damari as she flips and sways her short hair in slow motion. She gives a slow blink that are dazzling blue. Baxter covers his eyes above to block out a sudden bright light coming from her. Damari chats Charlie and Vaggie for a moment before heading towards the hotel, walking past speechless Baxter without noticing him. Baxter followed his gaze to where Damari is heading with trails of sparkles following her behind. Baxter immediately snapped out of it and zoomed over to Charlie.

"Charlie!" he shouted.

Charlie yelped in surprise, jumping a bit.

"Who is that?!" he asked, glancing at Damari, who's now inside the hotel.

Charlie noticed and smiled.

"That's my human best friend Damari."

"Damari..." Baxter said, completely lovestruck.

He got on his knees, looking happy.

"Oh, what a Heavenly name the eternals have blessed her with!!"

This left Vaggie a bit shocked while Charlie was in awe, seeing that he's got a crush on Damari.
