Hello again! The continuation of the last lesson!

Now : Lesson 1.2

Third, we'll draw the jaw and the chin.
▩As shown in the picture above, the vertical line also shows where to place the nose.
▩The bottom eye lid should be on the eye line.
▩The mouth lies on the jaw line or a little below it.

« As for me, I usually draw the mouth below it with the nose slightly above the jaw/circle. »

Fourth, we will be adding the eyes, nose and the mouth!
For the eyes, I'll explain it's details in the next lessons.
Here, I'll just explain you how to place the eyes correctly.
Now please take a look at the drawing.

EYES
▩The bottom eyelid will be falling on the eye line (the upper line).
▩The eyes must be at a ratio of 1:1:1 across the skull/circle.
▩We can say that they're EACH ⅓ of the skull. [Shown in the drawing above] So, 3 eyes width = skull.
▩Therefore, the distance between the real two eyes is the width of one eye.
[Looking above would explain better #^_^# ]
▩For the eyelids, just draw a line which is similar but shorter to the eye lashes you've drawn on the eyes.

NOSE
▩We'll be placing the nose just above the lower/inner curve of the skull.
▩We can draw the small shade to indicate it's the nose. [Will show the different ways of how others draw the nose]

MOUTH
▩The mouth is, well as minna-san knows, is just a single pencil line.
▩Oh! The small little shade below the mouth is indicating the lower lip.
Not beard! [When my aunt saw this drawing she asked, “Is that a beard?”
