This is the second part of the book. I didn't want to make two books. So I thought I'd just throw this in the same book.

It's been four months since I've seen Austin and I'm nearly four months pregnant. I tried calling him when I found out I was pregnant. I got a voice message saying. 'The number you have called has been disconnected.'

I even went to the apartment he told me owned and he had moved out two weeks after we got back from my sister's wedding.

The last place I tried to contact him was at Hubby for Hire and they told me that he quit the job when we got back.

There's a knock on the front door and I open it. "Dominic, what are you doing here?"

"I have a date tonight with Colton and I want you to come with us. Colton's inviting a friend to join us, so you won't be a third wheel."

I move out of the way and invite him into my place. "I'm not going on a date with you. I'm pregnant and I have nothing that fits me."

Nico smiles. "Get your bag. We're going shopping."

"I don't want to go shopping. I'm tired, Nico." I sit on the lounge.

He picks up my handbag from the counter and scoops me into his arms. He locks the front door and carries me down the stairs.

At the car he puts me on the ground and unlocks the door for me. He opens the door and walks over to his side.

Nico starts the car and pulls out of the garage. He turns onto the street and drives towards the shopping centre.

I look at him. "I'm not going to get just clothes am I?"

He shakes his head. "No, you're going to get your hair cut and a dress that shows off that small belly of yours." He touches my stomach. He keeps his eyes on the road and says. "Uncle Nico loves you, kiddo."

I laugh. "So that's what you want my kids to call you, Uncle Nico?"

He takes his eyes off the road for a second. "Yes, if that's alright with you?"

"Yes," I point to the road. "Keep your eyes on the road. We're not in 2 fast 2 furious."

He hits the wheel with his hand. "Damn, I was trying to impress you like Brian did with the female FBI agent."

I laugh. "Yeah, that movie was made in a green room, doofus."

He laughs. "Would you look at that my best friend is back." Nico pulls the car into the parking lot of the shopping centre.

We exit the car and make our way to the shops.

I look at the shops as we pass them. "Where are we going, first?"

He stops in front of the hairdresser. "Time to get your hair cut."

I sit in the chair at the hairdressers and they snip my hair. I look into the mirror and I love the new shoulder length look of my blonde hair.

I pay for the hair cut and then Nico and I walk in out of shops until we find one that has maternity stuff.

I try on a black dress and hit fits me perfectly. It shows off my growing belly. I step,out of the change room.

Nico wolf whistles. "That's the dress. I have to look for my tux now." He looks through the clothes on the rack and he comes across a suit.

I close the curtain the the change rooms and put on my skirt and top. I sit on a chair next to the change rooms and I wait for Nico to exit his in the tux. The suit is black slack, jacket and button up t-shirt with a black bow tie.

He looks at me. "How do I look?"

I smile. "You look great. Colton's going to love you in and out of it."

He laughs. "That's the look I was going for."

Nico walks back into the change room and he puts on his jeans and black t-shirt. He takes our stuff over the register and gets our order rung up. He hands taps his credit card on the machine and we walk out of the shop.

I have the craving for a juicy burger.

I turn to Nico. "I want a burger."

Nico laughs. "Food cravings again?"

I nod. "I don't normally eat burgers and I've been craving it."

At the eatery Nico gets lunch for us and I sit at a table. I lean my head on the table and close my eyes.

"Val," I hear. When I don't answer I'm shaken. "Val? Open your eyes."

I open my eyes and look at Nico.

He places the burger in front of me and takes a seat.

I bite into the burger and I feel sauce spill from the burger onto my face. I place the burger on the plate and wipe my face. "What time is dinner?"

"I'll pick you up at seven."

I look at the time and it's three. "After this we should go. I want to have a rest before we go out tonight."

I finish my burger and we leave the shopping centre.

At home I take the shopping bag from Nico and I enter my house. I set my alarm clock for five and climb into bed.

My alarm clock goes off at five and I hit the snooze button on the phone. The alarm goes off fifteen minutes later an do climb out of the bed.

I open the door to the bathroom and shave my legs before stepping into the shower. I wash my hair and body. I grab the towel from the rack and walk into my bedroom. I grab a pair of black matching under wear and put them on.

I slip the black dress on and walk over to the mirror. I take a seat and lightly apply foundation, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss.

I straighten my hair and leave it down.

There's a knock at the door. "I'll be right there."

I put on a pair of heels and walk to the door.

I open the door and invite Nico in.

Nico sits on the couch. "You look great."

"Thanks, I just have to get my bag." I walk into my room and pick up a small black purse and put it over my shoulder.

Nico looks at me. "Are you ready to go?"

"Yep, so who's this friend that you're hooking me up with?"

He shakes his head. "I can't tell you."

I put my arm through his. I lock the front door and we walk to the car.

I look out the window as we drive toward the restaurant. It's still light outside so I can see tall buildings, hear people talking and yelling as they walk down the road and horns beeping as we travel through the Los Angeles.

A couple minutes outside of the City we pull over in front of a restaurant. The window has Helen's Restaurant on it.

I step out of the car and walk toward the cream coloured brick building. I open the door and stop at the waiters stand.

Nico stops next to me. "We have a reservation under Brady."

"Follow me," the waiter says.
