Third Person POV

It's been a few days since Y/N took off with Valstrax. Leaving behind those he called friends at Beacon. However there was one that hurt more than the others.

Pyrrha Nikos.

One of the only few he talked to.

To Pyrrha

Pyrrha was sitting in Goodwitch's class as she glared at team RWBY. Seeing the four girls talk to Sun, Neptune, Jaune, and Sage.

Pyrrha was sitting there in silence while Goodwitch called her name.

Goodwitch: Ms Nikos!
She called out her name.

Pyrrha: Yes?
She asked.

Goodwitch: Who would you like to spar against?
She asked the mistral champion.

Pyrrha: Ruby Rose.

Ruby: Ooh.
She said excitingly.

The two girls got up and walked to the arena with their weapons in hand. Pyrrha stood across Ruby with her spear and shield in hand, with only one thing in mind.

Pyrrha: They'll pay for driving him away.
She said to herself.

Goodwitch: 3...2...1...FIGHT.

Pyrrha charged at Ruby as she dashed around. Ruby dashed at Pyrrha and swung at her scythe towards Pyrrha but missed her. Taking this chance, Pyrrha swung at Ruby and knocked Ruby back.

Ruby: Whoa.
She said in shock.

Pyrrha didn't stop and charged at Ruby with anger in her eyes. Ruby swung her scythe at Pyrrha once again but is stopped by Pyrrha as she uses her semblance. Pyrrha kicks Ruby into air as she charges at her. Ruby used her sniper function and swiped at Pyrrha but Pyrrha blocked it. Pyrrha spun her shield, making Ruby lose her grip o nher scythe. Pyrrha went behind Ruby and held her spear against Ruby's throat. Ruby tried to pry Pyrrha's spear off but she was thrown into the ground as Pyrrha landed in front of her.

Yang: Whoa. I never seen Pyrrha fight this seriously.
She said to her teammates.

Weiss: She's a mistralian champion, of course that dolt will lose to her.

Yang: She shouldn't lose this badly.
She said to her teammate.

Blake: I'm afraid Yang is right. Ruby shouldn't have lost to her that bad.
She said.

Goodwitch: Ruby Rose. Get up. You can still fight.
She said to her.

Ruby slowly got up as she groaned in pain.

Ruby: Oww. That hurt.
She said as she held her back in pain.

Pyrrha got into her stance as she glared at Ruby. With nothing but anger in her eyes.

Ruby charges at Pyrrha using her semblance to attack Pyrrha. Ruby circled around Pyrrha as she stood there in the middle, waiting for Ruby's attack. Ruby charged at Pyrrha from behind with her scythe behind her.

CLANG

Ruby's scythe clashed with Pyrrha's shield, earning a gasp from Ruby. Before Ruby could do anything, Pyrrha smacked her across the face with her shield. Causing her to lose balance and kicked Ruby down onto the ground as her scythe drops to the ground.

Goodwitch: Ms Nikos wins.
She said as Pyrrha walked back to her seat, leaving Ruby on the ground. Not caring about the one that drove her best friend away.

Time-Skip Pyrrha's POV

I sat with Nora and Ren at our usual lunch table. As I ate my food, I saw those four walking with their boyfriends.

Nora: Pyrrha!

I looked up and saw Nora looking at me.

"What?"

Nora: What happened in Goodwitch's class?

"W-What do you mean?"
I asked.

Ren: Well you did go hard on Ruby when you fought her. And you have been quiet.
He told me.

"I'm fine."
I told them.

Nora: No you haven't. You haven't been like your usual self since Y/N left.
She said, mentioning her name.

"Fine. You want to know. Why don't you ask those four girls over there."
I told her. trying to hide my anger.

Nora: Okay!

"I'll never trust them."

Not Jaune.

Not Ruby.

Intercom: Team JNPR, SSSN, RWBY. Come to Ozpin's office.

"Oh great."

Ren and I got up to walk to Ozpin's office. Seeing the 8 of them talk like they were together for months.

Ren: Pyrrha.

I looked to him as he looked back at me.

Ren: Are you okay? You've been awfully quiet and you've nearly broke Ruby when you two fought.

"I'm doing fine."
I told him.

Ren: Are you really? You've been quiet since Y/N left Beacon. Why is that?

"What do you think?"

Ren: I don't know.
He said as he looked away.

"If you desperately want to know, look at the four whores behind us."
I said to myself.

Third Person POV

Team RWBY, JNPR, and SSSN arrived at Ozpin's office as they stood in front of him.

Ozpin: So I'm assuming you're wondering why you all are here.

Jaune: Yes.

Ozpin: Well I have a mission for you all. And it's going to require you all to work on this mission alone.

Ruby: Which is?

Ozpin: Apparently from a local village, there has been increased grimm activities in this area. I need you all to check it out.

Ruby: Will do.
She said.

Ozpin: Good. The bullhead is outside.
He told them.

The three teams walked out of the room and head towards the bullhead. Pyrrha walked out of the elevator while Jaune was trying catch up to her.

Jaune: Hey Pyrrha.

Pyrrha ignores him as she walks.

Jaune: Pyrrha?

Pyrrha: What is it.
She said with hints of anger.

Jaune: Whoa. I was just asking if you wanted to help me train.
He said.

Pyrrha: Maybe after I'm done with all my homework .
She lied.

Pyrrha: Where are you Y/N.
She said to herself.

Jaune: Okay.
He said before going back to Ruby.

Pyrrha ignored the four girls as she sat in the bullhead, awaiting for the mission.

But unknown to them all, they will be welcomed with a sight they wished to never see.
