(Y/N) nursed Link back to health within less than the hour he fainted. When he woke up, Link wasn't speaking as much as he would have. His face was set in a daze, and when looking at (Y/N) he turned away. This frustrated her, but there wasn't anything she could do when it looked like he saw a ghost of the past.

He used the paraglider to sail down towards the dirt path leading to Hyrule Castle. He glanced at the castle and started walking towards it, which raised caution inside (Y/N). She stopped him in his tracks, grabbing his shoulder. "What are you doing?"

"Heading towards Hyrule Castle." He said with a fire lit inside his crystal clear blue eyes.

(Y/N) sighed, and kept pushing him back as she dragged her feet in the ground. "Are you suicidal? You can't fight Calamity Ganon the way you are! You have to train first! Let's go to Kakariko Village first!"

Link stopped suddenly, making (Y/N) almost fall forward onto him. "We don't even know where that is! Do you have a better situation while we just sit here and do nothing?"

(Y/N) growled and threw her hands up in the air. "You know what, go ahead! I nursed you back to health after you suddenly fainted!"

Link looked away and started walking again, a throbbing headache starting to appear inside his head. "I don't know why that happened, alright? Just leave alone."

A noise in the grassland area caught both their attention. It sounded like a neigh of some sort, making Link's point ears twitch with excitement. His memories of riding a horse were faint, but he knew deep inside his heart he loved the air and wind when dashing with the horse's speed. Link forgot all about (Y/N) in the instance and jogged towards the noise. (Y/N) gacked at his attention for her, but still kept pace with him.

There was a horde of monsters nearby as Link took quick work of them, but he seemed to be having some trouble with the blue colored monsters. (Y/N) helped Link by slashing through the monster clean through the stomach. She still didn't understand where all this power came from, but her power seemed to destroy monsters from the inside and out. Link didn't thank her, but that was fine with her, they were in silent disagreement.

They soon found a stable, a small one by the looks of it. The sound they heard where horses. Link rushed towards the stable, leaving (Y/N) in the dust. She rolled her eyes and decided to just float over to him. There were actual alive people, not glowing with a blue aura or flames around them. He felt so relieved he could almost cry.

"You there!" A dark skin man called out to him. "Are you in need of refuge?"

"We both need refuge."

The man eyebrows raised, looking past him. "Both? Are there two of you?"

Link stopped him his tracks, but he couldn't let his shock overwhelm him. "Nevermind, I misspoke. Do you know where Kakariko Village is?"

"Just follow the dirt road leading away from Hyrule Castle, and there you should find Dueling Peak Stables. They'll be able to give you better directions than I can. Are you also interested in registering a horse?"

"Where do I find one?"

"There should be some over that hill. Be careful of those Guardians. I don't know how this stable has been able to keep safe, but they don't seem to leave the area of Hyrule Castle often. But still, be careful, young man."

"Will do."

Link jogged over the hill the man talked about as (Y/N) floated by his side. "Did... did he not see me?"

"I don't know," he said, panting, "but let's not focus on that right now."

Rage clouded over (Y/N)'s judgment, making her grit her teeth. Ever since the King told Link the history over one hundred years, his attention and attitude have changed. More... focused on himself and someone else, but she didn't know who the other person was. Putting the puzzle together inside his mind was more complicated than her trying to figure out who and what she is herself.

Link found one horse in the fields, but that was enough for him. It had black spots around its left eye and the entire body was pure white. The tail was black too. Link started dashing towards the horse while (Y/N) sat up on a nearby tree, watching with interest. Once Link was close enough, he leaped onto the horse's backside. In the result, the horse reacted and kicked him off, the left hoof hitting the left side of his face.

"Ooooooooo..." (Y/N) cringed, seeing the bruise forming on Link's face. "A hundred years didn't make him smarter... that's for sure."

Link rolled like a rag doll, groaning as he got back up. The entire left side of his face ached in pain. "Stupid... horse."

Link came up with another plan. He crouched down and as silently as he could, took tiny steps towards the horse. His mouth ached, but he managed to leap fully onto the horse. He began to panic for a second, but he started soothing the horse down. Once the horse finally settled down, he smiled with pride.

(Y/N) rolled her eyes at Link, seeing the smile on his smirk face. "What a pain."

"You better take care of him."

(Y/N) instantly leaped up in fright, seeing a woman around her age smirk at her. She was standing on the branch (Y/N) was sitting on, disappeared, then appeared next to Link. The horse became startled, but Link put him under control while looking at the mysterious women. She touched his face as Link was shocked. She was beautiful, not an inch of imperfection on her face. (Y/N) dashed towards Link, but the women disappeared right when she appeared at Link's side.

"What did she do to you?" She yelled, touching the side the woman touched. She was about to yell at him again but stopped in shock. The bruise where the horse kicked him was healed. Not an inch of a scratch was seen on his face.

"I don't know." Link said, blushing as (Y/N) kept touching his face. "Will you stop?"

"How can I stop?! A lady just appeared, healed your face, and disappeared within the moment I come within one foot of you!"

Link was transfixed at the sight. She almost... almost looked like (Y/N), but not quite the same. Different facial features, height, eye color, and voice, but it was almost a mirrored reflection. (Y/N) didn't get a good look at the women, but her breathing was starting to wear down.

In silence, they both returned back to the stable. Link registered the horse and called him (H/N), a fitting name for a horse that kicked Link's face. Night soon fell upon them as Link took the center bed in the stable while (Y/N) took the far side. They couldn't see her, so they didn't know that another person was with Link. She shivered as the chilly night air bit at her skin, but she knew pulling the covers would be a bad idea.

She closed her eyes and forced herself to sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A burst of blue light clouded my vision as I saw a face, the face of a hero. He was close to me, our noses were almost touching. His cheeks flared with life as he backed away, not knowledging my presence. I took in the world around me, a dusty room with little furniture. "What... is... this... place...?"
"My house. What is your name?" He asked, his blue eyes finally looking at my face once again.
"I... don't... know..."
A knock came at the door as someone entered without being asked in. It was a woman with long, golden locks of hair. She was beautiful, as her clothes were dressed in hiking gear. She looked to be someone important to the man because he sat up and bowed towards her.
"Stand up, Link." She said, shaking her head. "You know I don't care about formalities around here."
She smiled towards me and took my hand, "I am Zelda, Princess of Hyrule. The young man behind me is Link. He is the champion of Hyrule."
I looked past her and towards him, not seeing anything special about him. There were muscles on his arms, but other than that, he looked to be a regular human. The color in his cheeks was still there, and his attention was focused on me, but I couldn't understand why.
"Who... am... I? Do... you know?" I forced the two words with focus. My throat was hurting with a fiery pain inside.
Zelda smiled and sat down on the bedside edge. "We know who you are. But, let us not rush anything. Your memories are still hazy, and the Great Deku Tree told us to let your own memories come to you in time."
I listen to her ramble on but wasn't actually listen. Her words were a jumbled mess, but I focused my attention on Link. He was shy, I could tell. He had confidence when Zelda wasn't in the room, but considering she was a princess he couldn't interrupt. I knew deep inside, we would get along just fine.
