Ink's P.O.V

It has been several days sense Error has spoken to me and its making me feel sad. He was making so much progress and his 'parents' decide to ruin that confidence. After the battle he passed out right in front of me and was basically unresponsive. When he started to collapse I managed to catch him and he was surprisingly light which I shouldn't of been surprised by yet it still didn't help my concern. Error's parents were locked away for life now and though morbid I wanted them to suffer with there guilt of destroying Error's confidence but, I knew that they would likely still sneer at him because he wasn't to their unrealistic standards which I was guessing they wanted him perfect in every way but, nobody is not even me.

Error's brother keeps pacing around the house as every time he asked error to come out he was told "not right now" and I could quietly hear Error panting as if he was really warm. Why would Error be panting unless, did error suffer heats? If that is the reason then I know why he's avoiding us. Heat was pretty contagious as it triggered others to go into it too and that would explain why he didn't want to come out but, that also meant he was suffering it alone. I could tell he was uncomfortable as it sounded like he was wanting relief but, wasn't able to with whatever he was using to try helping. I would help but, that wasn't wise as he likely suffers ptsd from what he's been through and likely doesn't trust anyone when he was suffering heat do to his 'parents' nasty treatment and raping him which I figured out really quickly as he flinched away and bolted if  anyone even rubbed his back or the top of his head even if there wasn't ill intent but, he told me in a rather harsh voice "Don't touch me at all bastards!" and then ran to his room despite it not actually being his family yet touching his back triggers his panic and he hid away which is why the current situation is going on. I didn't relize it at first but, when I went to congradulate him for standing up for himself and fighting back I must of moved far too quick as he freaked out shortly after I pat his back very gently and then he passed out. I ended up catching him and then his brother came over and took him from me carefully and we were given the ok to leave. It has been about 3 days sense then and I could tell something was off with error as he was way more jittery then normal then he sucluded himself from us and hasn't been out of the bedroom for two days. Error Papyrus had gone to the store to try finding something that would help

I hope his heat breaks soon so we can have a approriate celebration for his bravery, even Toriel wanted to help but, I had to wait till I knew error was actually free from his heat.

*Two days later*

Error's P.O.V

Finally my heat has broke that was the worse one yet but, I managed to get through it. I have already ran a load of my messed up bedding and my clothes that got messy. I made sure nobody touched the stuff besides me because the thought of my brother or Ink touching them even if they were clean made me feel embarrassed.

It was my mess so I will handle the stuff. It was embarrassing that I went into heat shortly after everything happened however and I wasn't too friendly either during it so as a apology I was going to make some pancakes and eggs for everyone. Thats one of the few things I could cook when my family weren't home however the pancake mix was often expired but, like several other things I gained resistance to the harmful effect of food poisoning.

I washed my hands and then got the stuff needed for breakfast. There was a cabinet at my height which allowed me to grab the pan and the mix out and in the fridge I grabbed about six eggs and after about thirty minutes everything was ready. I checked the time and then put the food in the oven to keep it from getting cold and went to wait in the living room and pulled out my laptop to watch some cartoons.

Twenty minutes later Ink was the first up and then five minutes later my brother came from his room too and could smell the scent of food and then came out to the living room and hugged me. I didn't flinch as I expected it and hugged back as it was nice being hugged by my brother. Ink and Papyrus were the only two that could hug me as I panicked otherwise. these two were the main ones that showed me gentle affection instead of cruelty. I put my laptop away back in its bag and then grabbed the surprise I had made the two for breakfast.

They both were beyond happy and they loved the taste of the food, I had used some buttermilk to give the eggs a fluffy texture and the pancakes had strawberries on top with whipped cream. The entire day went amazingly and then during the night I was taken to a mystery event which turned out to be a party for me that my brother and ink had arranged at Toriel's house to show their appreciation for me standing up for myself against the people that have pushed me around for years. I could feel my happiness rise to a very rare level and I embraced it.

We played games, had really good food and the best pie I have ever had that toriel had made. Unknown to me Ink was planning on telling me something he wanted to say for a while but, I didn't relize it as my brother was skillfully distracting me while Ink was getting the surprise gift ready to go and then I was asked to turn around by toriel who was smiling. As soon as I did I was tackled by the dog family I had saved several months prior and a note was in the mom's gemstone collar. I grabbed it out while tears of happiness flowed and inside the letter it read

"Would you like to date me and see how it goes I love you error but, didn't know the best way to ask- Ink" As I looked up ink was fidgeting with his scarf looking nervous and blushing and before anyone could register I hugged ink tightly and said "yes, I would love to date you!" I teared up even more and gave ink a quick but gentle kiss and kept him close. In my mind I was thinking "Finally someone is willing to give me a chance. I'm so relieved!

With that confession my brother and toriel cheered happily and the dogs circled us doing a happy dance. "This day is one of the best days ever and I hope more is to come."
