      We were learning about history in class today. How the magic war started in 2260. Some humans figured out they had magic abilitys in the year 2116. At first they used it to advance technology.  It was going good at first, we had flying cars almost nothing was on the ground anymore. We didn't have to worry about earthquakes and worrying about volcanic eruptions was a thing of the past. So was the English language. Everyone now speaks Latin.  Just like Latin was an almost unused language back in 2017, English is almost unused now.  Of course, the people with magical abilities, or spellbinders, were getting tired of using there amazing abilitys for the regular humans when they in return, got nothing. This obviously upset the spellbinders and after a time they used their powers and brought down the barriers on the volcanoes, dropped the buildings, cars, everything. The humans were mad. They now had to worry about everything they did before. All the nation leaders ordered the spellbinders to work, some of the leaders had daughters or sons or wives that were spellbinders. Supposedly they were killed, but there is evidence that they lived. Since all of the Spellbinders were apparently killed in the thirty year war between humans and themselves. The humans had an amazing strategy.  They will kill off the healers and the blockers then use nucular missals to wipe out the rest. Of course, there were some faults to this plan. There were spellbinders in hiding that they never found. Which is why every year they gather all the babies born and run tests to see if they have magical abilities.  Although their magical abilities do not come in to play until their thirteenth or fourteenth birthday, they claim they can tell or not. Since they used nucular Weapons in the war we have to live inside a dome which apparently keeps all the toxic fumes out of the air. There is only 200,000 or 300,000 population. Its not much. Our life expectancy is till age ninety.  One-hundred and twenty years ago it was one-hundred.  Only about 28% of the overall population survived the war we now call world civil war, or wcw.

I have to hide the fact that I am a spellbinder. If I don't, death awaits me.
