Night has fallen over Manhattan as most people were currently gathered at the park to watch some fireworks. Apparently it was a spring celebration organized by the mayor, so after he gave a speech earlier that evening, everything was set in motion. Chris didn't go though, since he had different plans to entertain himself, putting on his gadgets and vigilante outfit before turning the light off and exiting through the fire escape. He chuckled, knowing he would meet Felicia again sooner rather than later because it was actually her idea to go out for some more action before a real date.

Chris:" I gotta admit, at least she's creative. Every other lady would've just invited me to the park. I wonder, if Morgan is enjoying herself."

Smiling softly, Chris ascended the stairs and took a look around for a visual cue. Felicia promised him to let him know when she was ready, but apparently that happened in her own way as she managed to surprise Chris and wrestle him down playfully.

Chris:" That's one way to make an entrance."

Felicia:" You always need to expect the unexpected, Chrissy. Am I still on time though?"

Chris:" Right on. So what was that about the museum?"

Felicia:" I just need to pick something up and you, buddy, are my backup."

Chris:" I expect the cops to get involved. And since you don't really have weapons or super powers, I guess I'm supposed to fight them off?"

Felicia:" That's the plan. I promise I'll make this up to you somehow."

Chris:" Well, you better start thinking 'cause time is money."

And with that, the two started running across the rooftops, making sure nobody in the neighbourhood noticed them. Although Felicia was innocent in public, her nightly activities as Black Cat remained criminal. And having Chris as an accomplice would definitly make things much easier in the future. Of course there was always a risk of losing everything or the law getting involved somehow, so it never was a smooth ride. Chris wasn't so sure on why he agreed to help, although the risk of getting caught or exposed was extremely high. He just hoped to get out of this alive as they got closer to the museum. Traffic was slow at the time and only a few people were awake as Felicia used her grappling hook to swing herself across while Chris burst into a cloud of smoke, flying towards the building.

Chris:" And what are you picking up?"

Felicia:" Some paintings. I have to stay relevant and make money as well."

Chris:" But you can't do this forever."

Felicia:" As long as there's always something to get, I will try getting it. Now would you be so kind and smash this grid?"

Taking a deep breath, Chris switched with the master thief and focussed. Usually as a vigilante, he stopped people from doing this stuff. This was a complete 180 and before he could say anything else, his fist collided with the metal, breaking it enough so Felicia can fit through.

Felicia:" Thank you. I'll go in and get what I need. You stay out here and rell me when the cops are coming."

Chris:" You really owe me a ton at the end of this."

Felicia:"I swear you'll love it~."

Faking a kiss on the cheek, Felicia smirked and disappeared inside while Chris grumbled and pulled up his mask. Sometimes he hated this back and forth with her because it only led to frustration. Other times it was so much fun, they couldn't stop, but this wasn't the night. Honestly, he could just leave and be a jerk, but that wasn't his style. So while he kept an eye out for anything suspicious, Felicia rolled up the first painting she needed. She had a smirk on her face the whole time, thinking that Chris was too naive for stuff like this. She still liked him though and his company was pleasent as well. Did she go soft on him? Who knew? She just knew she had a thing for him which might lead to more in the next few days.

Felicia:" How is it out there?"

Chris:" Just listened to police radio. They said they're deploying choppers."

Felicia:" Now That's just great. Give me another minute or two, then I'm out."

Chris:" Good. I'll add this to your tab."

Felicia:" I'll work that off with you sooner rather than later. Keep your window unlocked~."

Chris just nodded at that and got up, facing towards the moon. He was ready for a fight that night and knowing his track record with the police, this definitly wouldn't go by cleanly.

A group of choppers appeared on zhe horizon, shining the search lights at Chris. They knew enough already, trying to talk some sense into him, but it didn't help much. It actually just annoyed him which resulted in Chris gathering some energy and letting out a strong blast of sparks.

Chris:" 3v1 is a little unfair, don't you think?"

Pilot:" Surrender before we have to use drastic measures."

Chris:" Like your mounted machine guns? They're already rusting from my blast, idiot."

One of the other choppers turned sideways and a sniper tried to get Chris. The bullet did get close, but it missed his head completely. This was a fatal miscalculation as Chris now glared at the sniper and the pilot, shooting thousands of thin needles at the helicopter and damaging it enough to soon make it crash.

Chris:" It didn't have to turn ugly, but you had to make it serious."

Pilot:" All remaining units, open fire! We need to eliminate the target!"

So while Chris was fighting the police choppers, risking his life, Felicia has gotten everything she needed and fled the scene. She was several blocks away already before turning around to see what was going on. Every attack Chris performed lit up the night significantly and by the looks of things, he fought like a man possessed.

Felicia:" I hope you come out unharmed...love."
