Its 1 am, I'm bored so why not??

I'm going in the order of which I started stanning them. These are NOT in the order of my favorite group to the least favorite. It's not even necessarily in the order of when I was introduced into them. It is only in the order of which I started to stan them.

These are not the only groups I know, but at the moment they are the only ones I stan.

BTS

My bias is Jin. My bias wrecker is Jimin.

Hence, why my user is the way it is.

If you are confused, I do explain my user in the about me section of this book. But basically, its "Jimin in my bed" but because Jimins name ends in "in" I just took the in out and so it became Jiminmybed.

The song that made me start stanning them was On.

Now I heard BTS songs before. My friend Katie was a huge kpop stan. She kinda introduced me into the world, but I never really got fully immersed in it. I listened to a BTS song every now and then, but at the time I didnt care to really look them up.

I knew Fire, I knew Not Today, and I knew a few others. I would look up the songs every now and then, but I didnt care about looking up the group.

Hell, I even knew a few BP songs. I knew As If Its Your Last and Boombayah (I think that's how its spelt). But I still couldnt be bothered to look anyone up.

Then last year happened. On came out. It randomly popped up in my newsfeed. I saw people on here talking about it and I figured, hey why not? What's the worst that can happen.

And thus my journey into the Kpop fandom officially starts.

I bought Map Of The Soul 7, and was super happy when it arrived. For a while I would only listen to BTS, but then Becca introduced me into a new group.

STRAY KIDS

My bias is Seungmin. My bias wreckers are Hyunjin and Minho (lowkey everyone else too, but I decided to pick my top 2 🙈)

The song that got me into them was Gods Menu.

Now while I hate to admit it, I was reluctant to even listen to them.

I was so in love with BTS that I didnt care to learn about a new group. Yes, I was unfortunately that type of stan. But we shall not speak of that 🙊.

But I realized the error of my way, cause I realized how stupid I sounded when I said that to myself.

And Becca really wanted me to listen to Gods Menu, so eventually I did. And that was it for me.

Now for me, I started stanning them after W* left the group, so it was weird when I listened to their older songs and he was in them. I personally preferred the rerecorded songs over the original ones.

And when the W* scandal happened, it was easy for me to separate him and the group, as I started stanning them after he left anyway.

Well, Becca introduced me to the JYP game on the phone (there are of course other companies, but JYP was the one I played the most). That's where the next three groups come from.

DAY6

My bias is Jae. My bias wrecker is YoungK.

The song that got me into them was Sweet Chaos.

So when I got the JYP game, I would mostly play Stray Kids songs. But I would also try to do all the challenges. One of the challenges was to do a Day6 song, specifically Sweet Chaos.

And when I heard it, I was in shock cause I wasnt expecting it to go as hard as it did.

I would play it on repeat constantly. I love it and I love them. I would die for them.

GOT7

My biases are Jackson and Mark. My bias wreckers are Youngjae and Jinyoung and BamBam.

The song that for me into them was Not By The Moon.

The way I was introduced into them is pretty much the same as Day6, ngl.

When I say fuck JYP it's because of how they treated my boys. The amount of exposure they gave them was nearly none. They had to promote themselves. I dont blame them all for leaving and I wish them all the best in their individual adventures and will continue to support them.

But anywho, I love watching videos of them. The chaos they create when they are together is just >>>

TWICE

I only have a bias, and not a bias wrecker. My bias is Sana. She is so adorable and I love her.

The song that got me to stan them is Likey.

Now unlike many other songs, I heard Likey through an ad on youtube. I would constantly get these ads for some app where you could watch kpop performances. In that ad, 2 songs would get imprinted in my brain.

Black Suit by Super Junior and Likey by Twice.

HOWEVER, I HATED the song. The way i couldnt get it out of my head really bugged me and caused me to hate it.

Eventually I forgot about the song as i stopped getting the ad.

And then i started playing the mobile game and one of the songs i had to do was Likey.

I was irritated because I remembered how much I hated it. But soon I found myself singing it when I wasnt playing the game.

If any of you have seen Easy A where Emma Stone basically says she hated A Pocket Full of Sunshine but eventually just sings her heart out to it, that was me with Likey.

After that, I listened to other Twice songs and started to love them.

So ironically, the song I originally hated made me eventually love the group.

And for the last group

ATEEZ

My biases are Hongjoon, San and Seonghwa. My bias wreckers are Yeosang and Wooyoung.

The song that got me into them was Say My Name.

I was fully introduced to Ateez through Spotify.

I made a Kpop playlist and they recommend me some other songs. I usually listen to them before adding them (cause who wants to listen to songs they hate????). And Say My Name was one of them.

And well, Say My Name is currently my most played song of all time, so you can see how that turned out.

Now I will say, after finding them I did realize this wasnt the first time I heard of them, I just hadn't realized it.

I knew their songs Pirate King and Wonderland but I didnt know it was them. I just knew the songs. And I only knew them because of a video where they put random songs over Stray Kids Easy choreography.

But Say My Name is the song that made me want to start stanning them.

BLACK PINK | for me, their older songs are better. As I said, AIIYL and Boombayah were the songs I knew from them before I actually got into Kpop. However, their comeback kinda coaligned with my full introduction into the fandom. And their comeback was just ... I didnt like it. HYLT wasn't it for me. Now while it did grow on me and I'll listen to it every now and again, it's not something that plays on repeat. And then Ice Cream happened and I couldnt bring myself to care about them. I absolutely hate Ice Cream. At least HYLT had some charm to it. IC didnt and it kinda stopped me from wanting to keep listening to them. However, I am trying to start listening to them again, so we'll see where it goes.

ITZY | Imma be honest, when it comes to their singing talent, I like them more than most girl groups I've seen. However, when it comes to their songs, I haven't really found anything to ride home about. Nobody Like You is the only song I've found to far that I can listen to.

NCT127 | I actually have a bias and bias wrecker, however I haven't officially started stanning them ... yet. However that might change soon.
