So i was bored today watching a bunch of team sonic racing and fnaf help wanted when my phone died and i was like "fuck" so i turned it back on and charged it a bit. Then i decided instead of blowing my battery on youtube again i would actually draw something worth posting. I whipped up a color palette because its like my favorite thing to do and did this in about 45 minutes

It was originally just gonna be the sylveon but i added the leafeon too for 3 reasons

1. Leafeon is one of my favorite pokemon to draw

2. I wanted more image height and roundness, without the leafeon there would just be this big gross empty space there

3. I wanted an excuse to use those pretty lavender colors more than just sylveon's ribbon stripes lol

Its small and simple and cute but i like it a lot because of it's simplicity. Soft colors, simple outlines, rounded curves, flat color with no shading, it has a really great aesthetic in my opinion.

A lot of the time simplicity is good. You dont need to have maximum effort shading or complex backgrounds or crowded character designs and you dont need to worry about everything being ABSOLUTELY PERFECT to have a final product that you're proud of. Sometimes it's nice to just sit down and relax, doodle something small amd simple that you like.
