"Livi, shh! Be quiet!"

The sound of footsteps approaching the Astronomy tower reached Penelope's ears, causing the blonde to close her sketchbook and hide under the professor's table. A chuckle can be heard from a voice too low to be Percy's, must be Oliver Wood's.

"Can I call you Vally?" Wood asked. "'Percy' and 'Perce' is used by everyone, I want what was never used by anyone else."

"Anything you like." The sound of kissing reached Penelope's ears, making her widen her eyes. Wood is dating Percy already? But she just saw him with Flint an hour ago! Has Percy snagged Wood from Flint already? Penelope bit her bottom lip. She knew Percy and Wood would happen sooner or later, but she can't help but feel sorry for Wood's boyfriend.

"Why won't you break up with Marcus already?" Percy asked. "I want to freely show my love for you."

So he doesn't know? Well, not for long he won't.

"I can't, I told you-" Oliver shook his head. "He'll hurt you and blame you."

The blame should be placed on his shoulders, Penelope commented internally. Would Wood cheat on Flint if it weren't for Percy flirting with him so often? Well, Percy at least had the guts to break up with her first before dating someone else, she had to give him that.

"I can't live with that," Oliver finished.

"Then make an excuse why you can't be together with him," Percy fought. "Or be honest and say why the relationship has to end- how he takes up all your free time and you can't take it anymore."

"That excuse won't work-" Oliver shook his head. "Marcus will promise me that he'll do better- what'll I say?"

"Then you'll be honest-" Percy nodded, kissing Oliver's fingers. Penelope crept to the cupboard nearby, slowly standing up. "Tell him that you want someone else and you're really sorry. Honesty is what'll work in this situation, now."

"Alright."

"This room is occupied, you know," Penelope interrupted, causing Percy and Oliver to distance themselves from each other. "Why the distance? Gay couples are just couples in Hogwarts."

"We're leaving-"

"I think not, Livi," Penelope hissed, causing Oliver to stop in his tracks. Penelope turned her head at Percy, giving the redhead her mocking smile. "Have you told him about our 'situation'?"

"What?"

"Penelope, you need to calm down," Percy grit his teeth.

"Thought you said you'll stand with it no matter what-" Penelope sniggered, her hands on her chest. "What's the matter, Vally? Changed your mind? Decided you're too much of a coward?"

"I'll tell him, alright-" Percy nodded slightly, his fingers pushing Penelope's shoulder, causing the pregnant girl to stumble in her footing. "It's not the right time."

"It's not the right time?" Penelope scoffed, rolling her eyes, one of her fingers tapping on the table. "Percy, look around! It's only the three of us! If anything, this is the perfect time to tell him!"

"Tell me what, exactly?" Oliver interrupted as he watched his boyfriend have a staring contest with his ex. "You know, if there's an issue between you two, I'd like to be kept out of it."

"Tell him."

"Tell me what, exactly?" Oliver asked, frustration in his voice.

"It's not the right time-" Percy shook his head.

"Percy, he at least already knows there's something between us!" Penelope exclaimed. "If you're not going to tell him, I will. Oliver-"

"I will!" Percy interrupted, making Penelope stop in her tracks. "I don't want you to hate me, Livi," Percy shook his head as he rests his hands on Oliver's shoulders. "Not when I just got you."

"I can never hate you-" Oliver held Percy's hands and kiss them, causing Percy to smile. Percy took a deep breath. "Take your time."

"One night two months ago, I told Penelope that I don't want to be her boyfriend anymore," Percy started. Taking a deep shaky breath, he continued recalling the event. "In that talk, Penelope asked for one last shag. I didn't prepare for protection and Penelope forgot to remind me. It was the only time we had sex without protection, all the others were with."

"It resulted in a pregnancy?" Percy nodded, taking his hand away from Oliver, looking defeated.

"I'm not backing down from being its father, Penelope. I'm the reason it exists and I will take full responsibility-" Percy shook his head. "I'm just so scared."

"Anytime and I'm going to show, the secret will come out," Penelope said. "Everyone knows I haven't dated since you and if anyone did the maths, they'll figure out that it's yours."

"And I won't hide the fact-" Percy looked down, biting his lip. "My life is so complicated."

"I'm the one dealing with this, not you!" Penelope bitterly hissed. "The baby is in my body, not yours!"

"Penelope, can you just shut up?" Percy grit his teeth, looking away. "I can't deal with everything at once."

"Now you know the truth about your boyfriend-" Penelope raised her side upper lip at Percy's direction before turning her body sideways, facing Oliver. "I wonder if you want a teen dad soon-to-be for a boyfriend. I have a little advice for you, being his ex."

"What would that be?" Oliver asked, tilting his head upwards. Penelope pulled him and pushed him to the direction of the door, away from Percy.

"Return to Marcus while you still can," Penelope threatened, glowering at Oliver. "If by next week I still catch you with him, I'll tell Flint and the whole school how you're a cheat and Percy a boyfriend stealer."

"And I'm sure Ravenclaw will be thrilled to hear that one of their prefects is pregnant," Oliver retorted. Penelope scowled as she starts to walk out of the tower, not looking back. As soon as Penelope wasn't in sight anymore, Oliver ran in Percy's direction.

"Hey, Val-" Oliver kissed his cheeks, a gesture Percy doesn't reciprocate. He doesn't even look up. "I'm here."

"I'm sorry."
