Percy anxiously waited for the minute-hand to strike twelve, some of his properties had been inserted in his tiny wool handbag which he had put an Undetectable Extendable Charm to allow him to insert an unlimited amount of belongings in there. He remembered how Oliver told him not to bring everything so people would think he's being kidnapped.

Percy looked around, seeing Luis and Erik sleeping deeply, whilst Oliver looks as anxious as he is feeling. Percy exchanged looks with his boyfriend, giving an affirmative nod to soothe his innards. Percy stood up at the same time as Oliver did, holding each other's hands as they stop before the door.

"You got the money?" Oliver nodded, pointing to his pocket.

"14 galleons, seven sickles, and 21 knuts," Oliver answered. "How much do you have?"

"Eight galleons," Percy answered, staring at his opened and unruly trunk. "Are you sure we can't bring everything? I want to bring my Weasley jumper with me."

"You know you can't," Oliver assured. "We can't have anyone know we're running away. There's a mass murderer on the loose, why don't we let him take the blame for our disappearance?"

"I feel that's a bad move."

"Vally-" Hearing Oliver calling him by his nickname, Percy looked down to get eye-to-eye with Oliver. "Sometimes, you need to be selfish. Do you want what I showed you to come true?"

"Yes."

"You know this is needed," Oliver said, entwining Percy's hand with his own, kissing the forehead of the redhead. "Come on, we don't have much time."

"Alright." Oliver squeezed Percy's hand gently, taking a step forward. Both Percy and Oliver slowly left their dorm to find an empty common room, for who in their right mind would be awake at this hour? Quietly, the couple made their way out of their common room, finding Penelope already waiting for them.

"Are you ready?" Penelope nods.

"I've done what you said- exactly like you said," Penelope answered in a hushed voice. "I got all my pieces of jewellery with me, I left some of my clothes here and made sure it's unruly. I made sure my bed looks untidy."

"Good. We need to go." Oliver gave a nod as the trio soon left, minding the sound of their steps as to make sure they don't make noises too loud to attract the attention of the Hogwarts staff.

Reaching the one-eyed witch statue by the stairs near Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom, Percy takes out his wand. Having seen Charlie done this before, he took out his wand from his pocket before he tapped the hump with it, chanting 'dissendium!', causing the hump on the statue to open just wide enough for each of them to enter a hidden passageway one by one. Penelope had to cast a 'lumos' due to how dark the passageway is.

After a moment of walking, they reach the end of the passageway which is revealed to be a cellar in Honeydukes. Sneaking out, the trio quietly left Honeydukes. Percy stopped in his tracks, staring at Hogwarts with longing in his eyes. Oliver sighed as he went to place his hands on his boyfriend's shoulders, massaging them to comfort him.

"We have to go."

"That building is where we met," Percy reminded, his eyes still transfixed on the castle. "If I somehow do become President of MACUSA as I had dreamt to be Minister of Magic, the news would leak and I can only imagine how heartbroken my family would be when they realise that I had faked my kidnapping."

"Percival Ignatius Weasley, you don't have to beg for your family's approval anymore-" Oliver softly brushed Percy's cheek, holding Percy's right hand as he kisses it. "I couldn't care less about moving to America or staying here, I'm doing this for you. I acknowledge that you have a family that binds you to this place, but isn't your child your family? Am I not your family?"

Percy sighed as he looked down at Oliver, then at Penelope, then down to her lower belly. "I have nobody here, I have an ex who'd chop my head off at any chance he gets. But when it comes to you, I'll go wherever you'll go. If you want to stay for your family, we both know you'll be a husband to another and I'll cheer so loud on your wedding day like the best friend I am. I'll give you the money I hold from my business to help you. It's all your choice, I have no family but you."

Eyes locked with Penelope, she looked away as she scratched her elbow nervously. "I don't care either, I've fucked up big time and I don't have a family anymore. I'll follow you, I want our child to grow up with its two parents. Whatever is your call, I'll come with you. I got nothing to bind me here. We don't have to be together, we can just live together for the tax benefits until both of us are more economically stable."

"We're going," Percy decided, looking up at the castle again. "We're a family and this family should be as happy as it could be. You two can say that all you want but I know you don't mean it. We should do it."

"You know the homeless shelter I stayed in since I turned seventeen?" Oliver asked, walking closer to Percy. Gaining a nod from his boyfriend, Oliver continued, "you and Penelope apparate together, I'll be waiting."

"Why should we split up?"

"My ability to apparate is fair, I can't do side-along apparition," Oliver explained. "However, you excel in side-along apparition. Since she's pregnant, there's a chance of miscarrying due to apparition." Oliver leaned into Percy's body, making sure that Penelope can't hear them. "I don't know about you but if I was in your position, I'd insist on helping her."

Percy nodded as he hugged his boyfriend.

"I love you."
