Nico Yazawa's POV

Maki-chan told me to wait at the living room while she gets her things at her room. It didn't take long before Maki-chan came back.

"Mama, papa, I'm going out! I'll be back before evening!" Maki-chan shouted to let her parents know.

"Okay sure, sweetheart! Be careful!"

I held Maki-chan's hand and she held mine.

"Hey, Nico-chan."

"Yeah?"

"What you said earlier, you meant it right?"

I tilted my head on one side and said, "Of course Nico~!"

I think I saw Maki-chan smirk. Must be my imagination.

"Heh. You're all mine now, Nico-chan."

"Since when did you become possessive, Maki-chan?"

"Just now, why?"

"No reason~" I said in a singsong voice.

What suprised me is that Maki-chan pulled me close and kissed me.

W-what t-the hell?!

I kinda pushed Maki-chan to break the kiss.

"You're getting a whole lot daring, aren't you?" I managed to say, still shocked from what she did.

"W-what made y-you say t-that?" Maki-chan stuttered.

"You kissed me while we're outside, Maki-chan. That's pretty daring."

Maki-chan blushed. Hehe. I love seeing that blushing face.

"I-I j-just w-want to k-kiss you." Maki-chan tried hiding her face but then I can still see her beautiful face.

"I know that but don't do that again, okay?"

"Okay."

"Come on. Let's go. The others are waiting."

It took us a while to get there because we talked and talked. When we got there, Honoka, Rin and Kotori are playing tag. They can be so childish at times like this.

Meanwhile, Eli and Nozomi are talking to each other. Alone. Hehehe. I know what's going on with those two. I caught them kissing each other at the student council room. I happen to pass by and saw them. I quickly took a picture and ran away silently. Like a ninja.

"Nico-chan, you had that smirk on your face when we got here. Is something wrong?"

Ah darn it. I forgot. Maki-chan's with me.

"Ah, it's nothing."

Umi noticed us standing there and called us.

"Maki, Nico! What took you so long?" Umi asked using her strict voice.

"Something happened that's all." Maki-chan replied.

"Come on. We'll talk about a new song."

We followed Umi and let us sit on a bench beside the playground.

"Honoka, Rin, Kotori!! Stop playing around!" Umi shouted at the trio playing tag.

"But Umi-chan!!" Honoka started to complain. Geez. This is hopeless.

"No buts, Honoka! You're the leader and you're playing!" Umi scolded Honoka.

"Just stop playing for a while, Honoka. We're here to talk about a new song." Eli said.

I stole a glance towards Maki-chan and saw she has that bored look on her face while she's twirling a strand of her hair.

"So, any suggestions?" Umi started.

"Animal inspired song nya~!"

"How about a love song?"

"We can't possibly sing a love song. It's too hard."

I have to admit. It's hard thinking of a new song even though I'm not the composer or lyrics writer.

"Maki, any ideas?" I was suprised that Eli asked Maki-chan for ideas.

Maki-chan stopped twirling her hair and started speaking.

"To make it easy, why not make a new song for each mini-unit we have?"

That's a great idea. It's been a while since we released a song for each mini-unit.

"Mini-unit?" Honoka questioned. The heck, Honoka?

"Geez. Don't tell me you forgot about the mini-units, Honoka. They're Printemps, Lily white and BiBi." I said.

"Ah, now I remember!"

The others seem okay with Maki-chan's idea so we all agreed to do a new song for the mini-units.

"I think it's kinda unfair nya." Rin suddenly spoke up.

"Why, Rin-chan?" Hanayo asked with concern. Aww. How sweet.

"Who's gonna compose for Lily white and Printemps nya?"

"Of course, it's still me. There's no one in μ's except for me can compose songs, right?" Maki-chan said.

Maki-chan has a point. Even though she's with me and Eli, she still needs to compose the songs of the other two units.

"Yeah, Maki-chan's right. Printemps and Lily white should provide their own lyrics and gave it to Maki-chan so that she can compose the songs." Nozomi said.

"Are you willing to do it, Maki? Won't it be a burden to you?" Umi asked Maki-chan.

"Nope. Not at all. What other choice do I have? I'm the one who suggested that idea so I'm willing to do it." Maki-chan said with a smile on her face.

I'm happy to see that Maki-chan is getting along well with the other members.

"To make it more fun, why don't we hold a competition?" Eli suggested.

"Sounds fun!"

"Let's do it nya~!"

"Fine by me."

"As long as there's rewards for winning, I'm up for it!"

It seems that everyone is so pumped up for this competition. Even Maki-chan. So am I.

"Each unit will be given 4 weeks to prepare. After 4 weeks, the competition will be held at the auditorium. Whichever unit wins, they will be awarded with something valuable." Eli explained

"Valuable like what?" Honoka asked.

"Depends. We have time to think about it."

Well yeah, plenty of time.

"So starting tomorrow, the units can start writing their lyrics and give it to Maki by the time they finished it."

Oh wow. I'm so excited to write lyrics for a song with my Maki-chan! I can't wait for tomorrow!
