Maki Nishikino's POV

I went to school very early today so that I can at least find inspiration for our new song. But how the heck will I find inspiration here at school?

I sat down on my chair at my classroom and looked out the window. There's nothing to see so I closed my eyes to think of something.

I suddenly stood up and exclaimed, "That's it! I can write lyrics if I just continue thinking about Nico-chan!"

Wait a second. I'm gonna make a song about my feelings about Nico-chan?! N-no w-way! T-that would b-be embarrassing!

No, wait. Eli wouldn't probably notice that I wrote a song about my feelings, would she?

I grabbed a notebook from inside my bag and started writing down my feelings about Nico-chan. I can feel my heart pounding against my chest while writing.

I kinda find it hard writing my feelings down on a notebook because, seriously, who would write their feelings for a particular person in a notebook? But then, I need to do this. For the sake of BiBi.

Classes started after 30 minutes. I'm finished with what I'm doing so I put the notebook back into my bag. I'll just make the lyrics at home. And besides, exams are coming so I need to focus on studying first.

After classes, I went to the music room since Eli and Nico-chan told me to wait there and they'll fetch me after their classes.

BiBi will be practicing at the rooftop since we won in the draw that we asked one of our teachers to make it for us. As for Lily White, they'll be practicing at the auditorium and Printemps will be practicing at one part of the field.

While waiting for my two teammates, I decided to play a song for a bit.

As soon as I stopped playing the piano, I heard clapping in front of me. When I looked up, I saw Nico-chan and Eli, clapping their hands.

"As expected, Maki. You really have beautiful voice." Eli said. I felt a blush creep onto my face and I turned away.

"O-of course." I mumbled. I sensed Nico-chan's pressence behind me and I turned to look at her and caught her grinning.

"Aww. How cute. Maki-chan's blushing.~" She said in a singsong voice.

"S-shut up, Nico-chan." I said as I felt the blush on my face heating up.

"So, Nico, Maki, have any of you thought of a lyrics yet?" Eli asked. I stole a glance at my bag sitting on the floor.

"Nope. Nothing for me. How about you, Maki-chan?"

I shook my head. I have to lie until I finish writing the lyrics.

I heard Eli sigh. "Oh well, since you still haven't thought of lyrics, we might as well go home." She said.

"Yeah, I agree. I'm tired already." Nico-chan said. Well, of course I agreed too.

Eli was the first one who left. I picked up my bag and walked towards the door.

"Maki-chan, want me to accompany you on the way home?"

I looked at Nico-chan and shook my head.

"No thanks. I need to stop by the hospital today."

Nico-chan looked a little disappointed but she smiled at me instead of frowning.

"Okay! I'll accompany you some other day, alright?"

"Sure."

Nico-chan left a kiss on my cheek and went home. I smiled and walked toward the hospital.

I need to write that lyrics tonight.
