The Suns had almost set by the time we had eaten dinner and decided on beds. Over time I had fixed up the tower and now it not only held the huge mural of the crew, but also a small room sectioned off with a bed and a couch. Everyone had agreed to give Hera and Jacen the bed while Kallus slept on the floor and Zeb slept on the couch. I was actually sleeping outside, against Hera's wishes, and had promised her to take an extra blanket. I was lucky if anything, Zeb still snored quite loud.

For the mean time though Jacen and I were painting pictures on rocks outside, using the last rays of light to put the finishing touches on our masterpieces. Putting the last stroke on the orange phoenix symbol I set the rock down before getting different colors and flinging them across the smooth side of the rock, creating a dotted pattern over it. Jacen, true to his word, was painting a ship for Hera. Seeing what I was doing he mimicked me until his face was also covered in paint along with the ground around him.

"You got paint everywhere, but the rock." I joked, putting his rock next to mine. He giggled that cute adorable giggle that all young kids seem to posses. Looking up at me with those huge blue eyes of his, he yawned and looked back sleepily at his rock.

A smile tugged at the corner of my lips as I knelt down beside him. "Let's go inside and get you cleaned off before your Mom has my head." It felt weird referring to Hera has someone's Mom. I might never get used to that. Extending my right hand for him to grab onto we headed back towards the tower.

When we were in the tower and Jacen had gotten changed into a simple shirt and shorts and me a tank top and shorts to sleep in we walked towards the bathroom. Grabbing a blue cloth for a self I lathered it in soap and rinsed it in water before scrubbing his face. Like any little kid he giggled and squirmed the entire time until the cloth stopped attacking his face. Rinsing his face off under the faucet I noticed the look in his eye that Kanan used to get whenever he was up to something.

Before I had a chance to react Jacen had splashed me with water, not enough to really do anything though. Chuckling I grabbed a towel and dried the boy's face before doing the same to mine. When we walked back into the main room Hera sat in a chair while Kallus and Zeb sat on the couch.

Jacen immediately ran into his Mother's outstretched arms and snuggled up against her while he began to recite today's happenings to her. I sat down on the floor on the space between Hera and Zeb and was silent as they all continued their chatter. Eventually Hera had sent a very reluctant boy to bed, so only the adults remained in the room.

"What wrong kid? You're never this quiet." Zeb said, ruffling, or attempting to ruffle, my short purple hair.

I just smiled up at him. "Just tired, and I'm not a kid anymore. In case you have forgotten I am twenty-seven now thank you very much."

"Nah." Zeb disagreed. "You and Ezra will always be kids to me."

"I still can't believe I let two kids fight against the Empire with basically no protection." Hera added in with a slight smile. "Best decision I ever made."

"Well you needed the numbers." I began and before I stopped myself I continued on with my little rant. "Ezra was on his own anyways, he is perfectly capable of fighting against them. He wants to anyways. It wasn't like I had a place to go anyways. Ketsu had left me for dead after two years of being bounty hunters and it wasn't like my parents were going to take me back. When I finally did go back with you guys they tried to shoot me down and that was after years to get over me leaving."

"When were you a cadet?" Kallus inquired.

I usually hated talking about my past, but tonight I just couldn't seem too. "Thirteen to fourteen." I said, looking him straight in the eye. "Cadet 1387 under the...." I stopped for a second, trying to get my bearings together. There was no way Kallus new about my training group, right? "As a part of Group 926."

Zeb tilted his head slightly, storing this new information. Hera just smiled at me slightly before resting a hand on my shoulder. She knew how much I hated talking about my past.

I had been wrong about Kallus though. He gasped, too quiet for any of us to hear, but I saw his mouth move. I started to internally panic. He knew. He knew about my group.

Hi guys! I'm kind of in a competition with one of my friends of Wattpad. We are trying to see who can get more followers over two months, so pleaseeeeeeee follow me. I really want to win the promised beg of jellybeans. Pretty please with an Ewok on top? Oh well I tried. Just think about it though.
