When I get to my room I look up at the moon and wonder if he would be looking at the moon too. Probably not, it's too late for him to still be awake. After a few minutes I go to lay on my bed. Looking at my phone I wonder if I should text him. No, I don't want to bother him if he's sleeping. I put my phone on the table next to my bed and lay on my side until I finally fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up early due to my phone buzzing. He's pretty much always the first to text me. It makes me feel bad that I don't end up texting him first. The text said 'you awake? If you aren't then sweet dreams, and I love you so much :)' I smiled at my phone.

'You woke me up lol' I replied.

'Oops, sorry xD but I love you either way. You're a beautiful person. Also, how has school been since I left?' He asked. I stared at my phone and wondered what I should reply. School has been normal for the most part. Though I did meet someone who is transferring to my school today. Maybe I should talk about him.

'Well, I mean nothing really has been different, but I did meet someone who seems to be nice that is transferring to my school today.' I said.

'Well, hopefully you become good friends with him. But, remember don't get too attached to him. I am the jealous type after all'

'I'll be sure not to. I have to get ready to go, I'll talk to you later.' I said and put my phone down. After getting ready for school, I picked up my phone and put it in my pocket and then left. In the first class Masaki stood up in front of the class. When he saw me walk in he waved to me. Other people who saw him wave automatically seemed to hate him. He introduced himself and then sat in the desk right behind me.

He said hi to me before class started, I just waved. I tend to not talk much at school. While we were switching classes I overheard a girl who came up to him and said "You know, I bet you would be more popular if you didn't hang out with Kazuki. Why don't you ditch him and hang out with us instead?"

Masaki paused for a minute before he answered "Nah, I'd rather be friends with him than have a ton of fake friends like you."  He said and entered the classroom walking away from her. I entered the class room after him. That girl was glaring at me, not that I'm not used to it anyway.

During lunch we sat at a table alone, away from everyone else. "So, why did you refuse to hang out with the popular people?" I asked. No one has ever done that for me. Stuck up for me like that. I mean, other than Yuu.

"So you heard that, huh?" I nodded, and he said "as I said, they're a bunch of fakes. I'm not that type of person who hangs out with fake people just to be popular."

I smiled and said "thank you."

"No problem." He also smiled

Lunch ended soon enough and so did school. We met up and walked home together.
