Kai's POV

I woke up when I noticed that I slept in, "Oh God Wu's gonna kill me" I said as I ran to the washroom and got dressed. I ran out of the door only to be greeted with silence, "Strange" I thought in confusion, I walked into the kitchen to see some food on the table and a note. I picked up the note and I read.

Kai, we had to go on a mission, we wanted to bring you along but from what happened yesterday we thought you might need your rest. Zane left some food for you, he hopes you enjoy it.

*Sigh*, of course, the only time I sleep in is the time they have a mission. I look down at the food and sat down to eat after I ate I started feeling angry so I walked outside and began punching the punching bag.

Nya's POV

"Guys was it a good idea to leave Kai behind," I asked

"It's fine Nya, stop worrying so much, Kai's a ninja," said Cole

Cole was right, I should stop worrying about my brother.

Kai's POV

I didn't realize how mad I was until the punching bag exploded into sand, I punched it that hard. I walked inside to get a broom so I can clean up the mess I made. As I cleaned up I sensed a dark matter nearby, so I finished cleaning and went to look around.

~Time Skip~

Jay's POV

"That was amazing, man, Kai missed out," I said in excitement

Everyone looked at me and started laughing, we could see the Bounty in the distance when all of a sudden we heard a scream.

"KAI!!" we all screamed

Kai's POV

I looked around everywhere until I thought it was my imagination fooling me, so I turned around and headed for the training section. As I walked something tackled me and pinned me to the floor, and before I know it I was bit in the arm. I screamed I udder pain and threw the figure on me, off. I was so mad I didn't even notice that my eyes changed to red and blue and my hair to black, my clothes turned to fire and I grew phoenix wings, everything went black.

"Spark, Ember get rid of this figure," I said

Two phoenixes, one girl, and one boy flew and breathed fire on the figure, the figure disappeared, I turned back to normal and the two phoenixes disappeared and I collapsed. Blood trickled down my arm and my vision blurred as I fell, it was like something was controlling my body. I never said any of those words. My vision was blurry until all I saw was black.

Nya's POV

We heard Kai scream and we ran towards the Bounty

"Ninja we must stay together," said Master Wu as we ran, everyone looked worried. We ran in the Bounty to see Kai on the floor with a wounded arm.

"Kai!!!" I screamed as I ran to my brother and laid his head on my lap.

"This looks like a bite mark," Zane said

I stared at the wound

"We should clean that up," I said

Cole picked up Kai and we walked towards the bedroom and laid him down on the bed, Lloyd came in with medical supplies and we healed Kai.

Kai's POV

I opened my eyes slowly to see my friends staring at me with worry looks on their faces, I got up.

"What happened," I ask in exhaustion

"You tell us," said Cole

"Ya, we heard a scream and when we came you were on the floor with a wound that looked like a bite mark," said Zane

That's right everything came back to me, I jumped out of bed and ran out of the room, I ran towards the deck and I saw nothing, I started hesitating as I ran around the deck thinking that the figure might still be here. All I can remember is anger flowing through me, I screamed: "WHERE IS IT, THAT STUPID PILE OF BLACK IS GONNA PAY!!!!"

"KAI your going crazy calm down" screamed Nya, I turned to face her and my brothers, they all gasped.

Cole's POV

After Zane told Kai what we saw, Kai just ran straight out of the room. We all ran after him, when we reached him, he was screamed like a madman. Nya told him to calm down, he turned towards us and we gasped, Kai eye color turned from beautiful brown too red and blue.

"KAI CALM DOWN" I screamed

He was going mad, we were all worried. Until Kai looked down breathing heavily, when he looked back up his eyes we brown again then blue and red, it flickered between brown and blue and red. Kai whispered something, then he just fell on to all fours and started screaming in pain, then all we heard from Kai was "STOP THE PAIN... SPARK, EMBER WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO TELL ME AND WHY IN PAIN" said Kai. Spark, Ember who are they, Kai stopped screaming and he was back to normal "I did it, I-I-I- talked to them" said Kai until he fell.

Kai's POV

Everything was going black I could only say one thing so I whispered "Help" then it went all black, two phoenixes flew towards me, saying.

"Hi, I'm Spark and this is my mate Ember, we are your spirit animal, we came to tell you something"

"What," I said

"A long time ago when you were born, you had two other brothers, you were all special and all had powers of three elements, Fire, Water, and Air. You had to be separated from them because evil was seeking out to get you, you all learned your powers when you were born and we were your friends. As time passed you guys forgot about us and we never saw you since that day you fought that shadow." said Spark

"What was that," I said

"Well that is a shadow, it's a minion who is searching for you and your brothers and when you fight you can summon us and we will help you fight but when you do your clothes turn to fire, your hair to black, your eyes to blue and red and you grow wings, which help you fly," said Ember

"Why are you telling me this," I said

"We had to before you forget us and you have to get your brothers," said Spark

"I don't even know where they are," I said

"Your wind brother, Travis, is in a cave on top of the tallest mountain and your water brother, Ein, is on an island which your wind brother know where it is," said Ember

"Thank you," I said

"One more thing," said Spark, I look up

"You cannot tell anyone about this," said Ember

My vision came back and I said "I did it, I-I-I- talked to them" before collapsing

Lloyd's POV

"What just happened," I asked as we ran to Kai

Cole picked him up and went to our room, where we laid Kai down and tucked him in and we left him as he slept. "I'm worried, what happened to Kai when we were gone, we should have brought him along," said Nya

"Its ok Nya, Kai is strong," I said

"But why did he scream Spark and Ember then said he talked to them," said Nya

We were all confused about why he said that but we ignored it, well not all of us, Nya was thinking about those words Kai screamed.

Jay's POV

Kai was still sleeping, I walked to Nay's room and knocked on the door she replies with a "Who is it"

"It's me, Jay," I said

"Come in," said Nya

I enter her room to find her on her bed, I sit next to her

"Still worried about Kai," I said, she nods her head yes

"Jay, he's my brother and he's done so much for me and all I can do is watch him go thru pain," said Nya in a tone that I never heard her in, I sigh

"He's my brother too and I'm as worried as you are but all we can do is wait," I said, Nya looks at me then hugs me

"I just hope he's ok," said Nya, I hug her back,

"Me too," I said

~Time Skip~

Kai's POV

I had dreams of me and my brothers playing with Nya in the garden, laughing and running, all the memories came back to me. I woke up with a smile on my face, I got out of bed and opened the door. I walked down the hall as I hear the training course go off, I walk towards the training course to see my brothers and sister training. They turn towards me.

"KAI" screamed Nya, as she ran and hugged me "I'm so glad you're ok," said Nya

"My brother you're awake and I see a smile on your face, why so," asked Zane

I look around to see everyone I love around me and memories of my old brothers, a tear ran down my face, I whipped it away.

"I'm just happy to know that I'm not alone," I said with a big smile on my face, everyone hugged me, I cried as I look up in the sky.

"I'll find you guys one day, I promise" I whispered
