a/n: So I'm currently doing my power point presentation right now. I'm feeling stressed. So, I ended up doing this chapter. I hope you enjoy it.

LIKE what he requested of me during Christmas Eve, I stayed with him - I know, I'm risking my heart but I want to support him this time. I want to be with him and take all the pain that he felt even just for a little.

It's been three days, and tomorrow. I need to fly back to Italy tomorrow morning. I can't stay here for too long, especially now that someone is waiting for me there. I heard a sound of the door open but I refuse to look since I'm busy doing my yoga routine.

I'm just doing some light routine since I don't have my instructor for this right now. And I can't afford to injure myself since I have a busy schedule starting by January. It took me for about fifteen minutes before I completely finished my routine.

He slightly handed my bottled water and my towel before he sat down on the nearest chair to me, "Are you sure you won't see them?" he asked me curiously.

I look at him as I continue wiping my sweat, "Yeah, I'll be back by February anyway. I'll just see them when I returned"

"Do you have a busy schedule next month?" he ask with a frown

I nodded as I gave him a shy smile "Yes," I said "I have some endorsement shoots next week and I have to prepare some papers for my business. Since I'm planning to open another branch here in Japan. And, I have to buy land for my house."

Natsu slouches on the chair but his eyes never leave my face, "I'm wondering why you're not leaving the papers with your cousin. Don't you trust her enough to handle your company?"

I bit my lower lips because of his question as I brought my knees closer to my face, "Even I wanted too... Lilian can't do it anymore"

"Why?" he frowned.

"She died during her labor" I said, making his eyes grow wider.

I inhaled and flustered a smile on my face - I shouldn't have told him that. Natsu has its own baggage. I can't give him another one to carry,

"I'm fine now though I'm not totally fine because... as you know... the only family I ever had was my grandmother and Lilian. And they both... gone-"

I couldn't finish my own words because Natsu had pulled me closer to him and hugged me. My face is now buried on his neck. I slowly wrapped my arms around his body "I'm fine"

"You become strong, Lucy," he said quietly.

My mouth parted for a little bit before it curved into a smile. I wasn't planning on smiling but my own body does it as if they have their own body.

"I'm so proud of you" he said as his arm tighten around my body, "I'm always proud of you"

"I know" I murmured under my breath "you are my number one fan before," I joke.

"I am still your number one" he said before he pushed me a little - so he could see my face. I laughed when I saw him frowning over me "Did you really think that I'll let someone be your number one fan?"

I shrugged playfully "I'm not so sure about that, Natsu" I said.

He frowned and pouted at the same time. It was a cute reaction that I never thought I'd be seeing again to him, "That's too much, Lucienne Heartfilia"

My mouth parted when I heard him call me by my name. It felt... strange.

"What?" he asked me innocently.

I shook my head and then smiled at him before I removed his hand and stood up - leaving enough distance between us "Well, I never thought I'd be hearing you calling me by... 'Lucienne', Natsu" I said truthfully.

He looks at me as if he was trying to figure out what's going on inside my head. I smiled at him and was about to excuse myself when all of a sudden, he reached for my hand making me stop on my track. I gave him a confused look.

"Did you forget something? I have to freshen up and make our breakfast" I said half - truth and half - lie.

"Do you..." he said which made me frown a little but still waited for him to continue "Do you want me to call you 'Lucienne' again?" He asked me a question that I wasn't prepared to hear.

I could not immediately answer his question. Or rather, I didn't know how to answer his question. Do I really want to?

I gave him a fake smile before I gently removed his grip on my hand.

"Nope," I said, laughing a little. "You still call me 'Lucy', I'd rather hear that from you instead of 'Lucienne', Natsu," I lied.

I don't want to hear the name 'Lucienne' in his mouth again, not because I don't want to hear it. But because that name will surely give me false hope.

I don't want to remember the days that he was calling me 'my Lucienne'. I don't want to be hurt because of our memories and my regrets.

I CHECKED my boarding pass once again before I turned my head to look at his face. As far as I remember, he still has a board meeting at 2 p.m. but, instead of preparing for his board meeting. He leisurely sat right next to me while looking at the screen in front of us.

"Will you remind me why you're here, Natsu?" I asked once again. I just couldn't imagine that Natsu would be here with me in the airport.

"I safely brought you here, Lucy" he sarcastically said while rolling his eyes to me "did you forget?"

"You have a board meeting later" I said with a matter - in - fact tone.

"I know," he said with a shrug, "The board meeting won't start without me. So just chill" he said, as he gestured his hand on me to chill.

I hit his hand and frowned "Just go, Natsu"

He frowned as he grabbed his chest like he was in pain. Seeing him acting like that makes me panic "Hey, are you okay? Are you feeling hurt?" I said worriedly.

"Yeah, I feel hurt!" he scowled "you such a cold - hearted woman. How can you treat me like this? I'm your best friend, Lucienne Heartfilia" he said dramatically.

I dramatically blew my breath through my mouth before I hit his arm hard which made him cry in pain "What? Ouch! Stop, Lucy! Ouch!" I hit his arm one last time "Ouch!" he said, pouting his lips.

"Lemme tell you this, Natsu Dragneel. Stop hanging around too much with Loki. You are getting his weird attitude!" I said glaring at him.

Natsu smile at me, his eyes shine "You know this is the first time that you glared at me"

"And so?" I said, raising my eyebrow to him. I'm currently running out of patience right now. I never knew that Natsu Dragneel has this side. It was new to me.

"Whoa! That's the attitude I've never seen before" he said happily as if he was happy discovering something new.

"Stop getting on my nerves, Natsu" I said, emphasizing my words.

Natsu charmingly smiles at me and moves his face closer to my face. I opened my mouth to speak but I couldn't find my own words. He grabs my hand and just like before, he brings it closer to his lips to give it a soft kiss.

"I'll be missing you, Lucy," he said sincerely.

I remained mute, still couldn't find my own words to say.

"I'll be waiting for you to come home" he whispered before he leaned towards me and planted a soft kiss on my forehead.

My mouth parted and my heart beat so fast when he pressed his forehead to mine. He didn't say anything but just stared into my eyes as if he was memorizing my face.

We stayed like that for about three minutes before I smiled brightly towards him, which made his eyes grow wider.

"I'll be seeing you this February, Natsu," I mumble under my breath, "Wait for me"

He smile at me "I will, Lucienne"

And with that... we parted ways again.
