"Kinako its time to get up" A voice announced

"Ok sis I'll be right down" I announced

Hello my name is Kinako Kinsu and I recently became a student at Miyaji Academy, it has been 3 months since I lived here in Japan after moving away from America because of...troubles that killed my parents and decided to live with my sister.

"Good morning Kinako, eat your breakfast you don't want to be late" Said a women with long, untied, light brown hair.

"Thanks big sis" I replied

This is my sister Misao Kinsu she's 23 years old so she's way older than me, she was nice enough to take me in when I arrived here she was devastated once she found out what happened to our parents.

"Be careful ok" Misao announced

"I will" I replied

-At Miyaji Academy-

'Let's see class 1A, ah there it is' I thought

As I entered the classroom most of the class was chatting with each other except for a couple of people one was a guy with red hair, hazel coloured eyes and his head lying on his desk, the other was a boy with long blue hair, sapphire coloured eyes, staring out the window. I walked over to the seat in front of the bluenette.

"Alright everyone time for class" the teacher announced as he walked in

The classes were pretty ordinary at some point the subject we explored was Globalization.

"Thanks to improvements in technology and the ability to share information on a global scale, our geographic position in the world means less than it once did this is a concept we've come to know as Globalization, and your generation will be tasked with surviving in this new era of Globalization" The teacher lectured

'This is boring when does start P.E' I thought to myself

"Alright how about we pick somebody's brain, Aichi Sendou" The teacher announced

"Ahh, um yes" said the bluenette behind me as he stood up from his chair

"Tell is mister Sendou what do you think is the best way to stay relevant in this global age" the teacher asked

"Uh that's a good question, let's see" Aichi stated

The others in class started to make fun of him it irritated me to see people treating others badly.

"Come Aichi out with it" the teacher said

"Uh I don't quite know, I think it's important to find yourself a hobby" Aichi answered

"A hobby, like what" the teacher asked

"Huh" Aichi reacted as he scanned the room

I feel sorry for him he seems really nervous, considering the fact everyone in class is staring at him waiting for his answer.

"Well my hobby is uh cardfighting sir" Aichi answered

'No way he's a cardfighter too' I thought

"Interesting, and you believe that's a good priority" the teacher replied

'Of course it is' I thought mad about how the teacher replied

"Um I guess it could be" Aichi replied

The other students started making fun of him again, making me mad.

"Settle down, the objective here at Miyaji Academy is to mould our young men and women into adults ready to take on the global market" the teacher stated

"And while we encourage all our students to have hobbies, I think it's fair to say your time would be better spent if you focused on your studies Sendou" the teacher continued

"Ye-yes sir" Aichi replied as he sat down

Aichi POV

'I'm such an idiot' I thought as I blushed looking down to my desk

Then I saw a note put on my desk I opened it and read it

"Don't listen to them I think it's good that you play vanguard we should have a match some day from Kinako Kinsu" the note said

-Time skip-

"Hey Aichi, I'm the one who gave you the note" stated a girl with short hair

"Oh so you're Kinako Kinsu, thanks for looking out for me" I said to the girl

"No problem, so where are you going" Kinako asked me

"I'm heading over to card capital do you want to come too" I asked Kinako

"Sure" Kinako replied

With that we headed out the school and started walking to card capital we talked about our decks her Spike Brothers and me with my Liberators deck I got recently and she was shocked to hear I was a world champion.

-Outside Card Capital-

Kinako POV

We reached our destination standing outside a small store we walked in and Aichi started talking to a few kid from Singapore that formed the team SIT Genius.
