Aayan's Office...

Aayan literally runs downstairs towards the reception area, where Naina was waiting for him...

Seeing her sitting on the sofa, his happiness knew no bounds, this was the first time ever, that his Naina mom was visiting his office...

He always wanted to bring her here, because he considered her as the driving force of his personal and professional life, had she not been there, he would've been the stubborn, broken, good for nothing boy his father always thought...

It was Naina who believed in him, and motivated him to dream bigger, and stood rock solid behind him in his failures, Aayan who couldn't get the affection from his own birth mother, was the apple of the eye of his god mother Naina, who never distinguished between him and her own children...

'Mom !' Aayan called her excitedly, and his staff stood up from their seats seeing him on the floor

Naina who was sitting on the sofa, thinking about something, got startled at this, but then composed herself and stood up, giving him a faint smile...

He literally ran towards her and engulfed her in a tight hug, and Naina had to balance herself when he did that, she did not hug him back,but hesitantly put her arm around him, patting his back...

'What a wonderful surprise mom ! Why didn't you tell me before ? I would've come to receive you at the airport...!' Aayan said leaving her and she didn't reply at this...

'Yeah, it was an abrupt decision to visit you... So I couldn't inform anyone...' Naina said in a serious tone and Aayan got confused at this..

'Is everything okay mom...?' Aayan asked

'I need to talk to you about something very serious son, can we go somewhere...?' Naina asks keeping and even face and Aayan got more confused

'Sure mom... You wanna go home ? Or maybe some restaurant ?'  He suggested

'Your cabin would be fine, just ask your staff not to interrupt us...' Naina said

'Okay mom, let's go...' Aayan says and leads the way towards the elevator...

They walk towards his cabin without saying a word and the staff greeting them in the way...

'Don't allow anyone to enter the cabin unless I say okay...?' Aayan orders Gaurav and he nods

Naina took a seat and Aayan sat beside her, holding her hands

'Mom is everything okay...? You look tensed...' Aayan says

Naina looks at him, or more like glares at him and pulls her hands out of his hold, and walks towards the glass window, which showed the beautiful scene of the busy city

'I am here to take Ananya with me...' Naina declares looking at him and Aayan's heart started beating rapidly at this

His throat went dry, the mere thought of staying away from Ananya made him uncomfortable..

'Why...Wha... What happened...? Is Big Dad okay...? Something happened in the house...?' He asked nervously

Naina looks at him and narrows her eyes
'I am taking my daughter away from you, young man...' she said sternly and Aayan was speechless

He rose from his seat, but couldn't move further as his hands and legs turned cold, he had goosebumps all over...

'Why Mom...? I mean... What did I...?' he began but Naina cut him off in between

'Ask yourself Aayan, You must have done something, that made me take this decision...' Naina says looking at him straight in the eye and Aayan couldn't look at her now

'Mom I...'

'How could you do this to my daughter Aayan...! We trusted you with the most precious thing of our life and you hurt her like this...! I am very disappointed with you son...' Naina says her voice cracking and Aayan was ashamed now

'Mom I can explain...' he began

'Your girlfriend visited me yesterday, saying that you are cheating on her and Ananya at the same time...' Naina said angrily

'What...! Mom ! She is lying... Believe me, I can prove...' he said panicked

'Okay she is lying...! Then what about this...?' Naina shows him the video on the phone, where Aayan is picking Ritika in his arms and walking towards the bedroom and even Ananya was standing there...

It was the recording of that drama, Aayan did to anger Ananya, but only half of it, because it was tampered, as it did not show Aayan throwing Ritika out of the house, immediately after Ananya left, but instead it was forwarded to the next day, where Ritika was pushing herself on Aayan...

That bitch tampered with the camera,why did I install them anyway...

Aayan got furious seeing the video, but then pinched the bridge of his nose, not really understanding what to say now...

'Never in my dreams I thought that you will do something like this son, I trusted you with my princess and you did this to her...? Oh god, what she must have felt seeing all that... Don't you have any shame Aayan !' Naina said angrily

Aayan took a deep breath, and then walked towards Naina, but she took a step back, gesturing him to stay there...

'Mom, I understand that you must be thinking that I am the culprit here, and trust me, I won't lie to you, this all really happened ! But what you are seeing is the tampered footage, only half of it... You will believe me once you see the whole picture...' Aayan explained and Naina glared at him

'You seriously have an explanation for this behaviour boy ? I can clearly see you getting intimate with another woman in front of your own wife ! How can you justify this with the 'whole picture' thing...' Naina scolds him

'Mom, please I can really explain, please give me one chance to prove that this is a lie, please...' he begged holding her hands, but she jerked them away

'I am taking my daughter away from you Aayan, you don't deserve my princess...!' Naina said and Aayan was horrified at this..

'Please, please mom, don't do this, I won't be able to live without her, hear me out please...' Aayan begged

Naina looks at him flabbergasted, how can he claim that he will die without her, if he outrightly cheated on her...

'Aayan...' She began

'Mom, give me one chance...' he said

'Okay...' Naina sighed

He sighs and quickly dials Alex's number

'Alex, send me the footage of my house's camera no 2 and 3, date 18th November, between 8 - 9 pm, and 19th November, 7:30 - 8:30 am... Fast...!' he orders him

'Right away Aayan...' Alex said and hung up

He turns to Naina, who was staring at him intently and walks towards her and held her hands

'Mom, please hear me out, and after this whatever you decide I will accept it without any arguement...' Aayan said and Naina nods

He made her sit on the sofa and squats in front of her, not leaving her hands

'I'll tell you everything from start, please be patient and listen to me...' he requested

'Mom, me and Ananya, had issues in the start of the marriage, which was mostly because of me... I hated her...' he says

'What...! Then why did you marry her...? I mean, it was your decision to get married to her, that's why we asked her to think about it !' Naina exclaims shocked

'Because I wanted a revenge from her...' Aayan said looking down

'Revenge ! You don't marry for revenge young man...' Naina scolds him

'Yes Maa, I understand... But this is what happened...' Aayan began and narrated all the events to her, right from Ananya challenging him that she will make him lose, to him involving Ritika in it, to their talk in Ved's wedding and Aayan's Idea of dropping the revenge thing...

Naina listened to all this patiently, and she felt really bad for her daughter, but she felt more bad for Aayan and herself, that she couldn't help the boy to forget all the pain, if she succeeded in doing that, Aayan would have never taken this drastic step...

'So this is how Ananya agreed that she will give me one last chance,or else she will leave me..' Aayan finished and Naina sighed

'Kids, marriage is not a game that you two were playing... This could've ruined your lives...! How can you both be so childish...!' Naina says and Aayan looks down

'Please tell me, Ananya is not doing this for some sort of stupid revenge as well...' Naina glares at him

A pang of guilt runs inside Aayan and he couldn't look at his Naina mom now...

'No mom, she genuinely loved me, and I broke her heart... I am sorry...' he sighs

'God ! I really prayed that none of my kids, especially my daughter should get my fate in love, but unfortunately she did...!' Naina wiped her tears...

'Mom I...' Aayan began

'What do you men think of yourself ! Are all the women joke to you...? Is it so easy for you all, to play with their heart and then hurt them beyond repair, and then come back saying sorry....? Huh...? Is it that easy....!' Naina said angrily..

Aayan looked at her shocked, he had no answer to this...

'Do you have any idea Aayan, how much it hurts to see the man you love, to be with some other person... And you ! You deliberately did that just to anger her...? It would have broken my girl's heart into million pieces ! How could you...!' Naina scolds him and Aayan just remained silent, guilt filling inside him...

'Out of every man in this world, I thought you would be the last one to hurt my daughter, because you were decevied by someone very close, and you would not want any one to suffer that...! But I was so wrong...' Naina says with disappointment in her tone

'Mom I know, I know I am the worst man, I failed as a husband, and a son too, but please believe me ! I want to make everything alright... Please mom give me one chance, don't take her away from me please...!' Aayan begged holding Naina's hand

'How do I trust you Aayan, how do I believe that my Ananya won't suffer anymore being with you...' Naina sighed

He took her hand and placed it near his chest, tears rolling down his eyes..

'I swear on Ananya mom, that I will never ever hurt her, and If she cries one more time because of me...! You can take her away from me... But if you do it now...! I will die mom, I surely will... I love her mom, I really love her, it took me time to realise, but I really can't live without her...' Aayan said and Naina looks at him intently

Just then he recieves a text from Alex, sending him the whole video of that night and sighs in relief..

'And this is the proof that I didn't cheat on her that night...' Aayan hands his phone to Naina and she watches the video

As soon as the video ends, she taps the middle button to close the app, which reveals his wallpaper, which to her surprise, was Ananya's photo, she looks at the photo and then to him, and hands him the phone back...

He cannot change his wallpaper so soon... She thought

'Mom, please don't take her away from me, I really love her, and I promise that I will sort everything out...' he said truthfully

Naina stared at him briefly and then sighed
'If Ananya gave you another chance, then Who am I to stop you, you better make everything clear...' she said and Aayan nodded

'You have no idea, if Arjun or Vansh come to know about this, they will kill you, no kidding...' Naina said and Aayan sighed

'Does Jai have any idea about this...?' Naina asked

'If he comes to know about this, he will rip me apart into small pieces...' Aayan said and Naina chuckled

'May you both sort everything out son, because you both deserve all the happiness, and you belong with each other, just realise this soon, before it's too late...' Naina said and Aayan nodded

'I am so sorry mom, I know I disappointed you too, but trust me, I am not a monster, yes I can be stupid, but certainly won't fall low for a  revenge's sake...' Aayan held her hands and she caresses his hair

'I know son, I have faith in my upbringing...' she smiled and he smiled back

'Thank you mom, and I am so sorry...' Aayan hugs her and she hugged him back

'You will be fine son, everything will be... Just don't hurt my princess again...' Naina says and he nods

'Come, I'll take you to home, Ananya would go crazy seeing you...' Aayan said but Naina stopped him

'No, I need to leave for Delhi, Arjun doesn't know that I am here... If he comes to know, he will ask unnecessary questions which can land you into trouble...' Naina said and he sighed

'But mom, how can I let you go, just like that...' Aayan said

'I'll come to your house when you will make everything alright...' Naina smiled and he nodded

'I need to leave for the airport, my flight leaves in an hour...' Naina says looking at the watch

'Okay mom, come I'll drop you...' Aayan said, but Naina stopped him

'No need son, you must work, you can ask your driver to drop me...' Naina said

'But mom...' Aayan began

'No arguements son...take care, I'll see you both soon, tell my princess I miss her...' Naina smiled and he smiled back

He hugs her once again and then walks with her till the car..

'Bye mom...' he waves at her and she waves back as the driver starts the car and drives away...

Thank you god...
Now I am more determined to make things better between us...

He walks towards the cabin to see Alex waiting for him..

'What did you do man...! Are you crazy...' he exclaims and Aayan sighs

'I am surprised, why Mrs. Varma didn't divorce you after that...' He said

'She won't leave me... I won't let her...' Aayan said determined and Alex looks at him bewildered

'Sometimes I get really really scared of you...Anyway, Rishi is off to that lawyer's office, he will report you things in the evening...' Alex imformed

'This stupid lawyer is making my life hell, and trust me I don't any time to entertain her...! My life is already in a mess, Ask Rishi to get rid of her ASAP...' Aayan said massaging his temples and Alex pats his shoulder

'Don't worry we will take care of that lawyer... You just focus on saving your married life...' he said and Aayan nodded

'Do me a favour, just ask the cyber team to check who tampered with the house cameras... And I am sending men to change it right now...' Aayan says and Alex nods

'Right away sir...' he says and walks towards the department and Aayan walks inside his cabin, dialling someone's number...

Ananya's office...

'Welcome Mr. Rishi... Our lawyer will see you in a while...' Deepak, Ananya's boss says to Rishi and he nods

'Mr. Mishra, why this sudden change of mind to settle things outside the court...? As far as I know, Mr. Narayan Murthy rejected all our requests to settle it informally...' Rishi said

'His new lawyer convinced him for that...' Deepak replied

'I see, she seems to be good...' Rishi comments

'She is very good...' Deepak said proudly

Just then Ananya walks inside, Deepak gestures her to take his seat, and leaves the cabin

Rishi looks at her intently, trying to remember,where he had seen her, because he was certain that he had seen her or her photo somewhere...

'My name is Ananya Thapar, and I am the new prosecutor against your company...' Ananya introduced herself in a professional tone

'I am Rishi Sharma, from A V technologies... Nice to see you finally madam...' Rishi replied shaking her hands

'So, let's start...' Ananya said opening the file

'Whenever you are ready mam...' Rishi said

'Why are you guys not vacating the land, as far as I know, you guys are tenants there, so how can you build a commercial office there...?' Ananya asked

'We are not doing anything illegal there, We are paying a huge sum amount of rent of about 4 lakhs per month to your client Mrs. Thapar, which is almost the twice of its actual value, so whatever we do on the land should not be Mr. Murthy's concern as far as he receives the money...' Rishi replied, and he assumed that Ananya is married seeing the vermillion on her forehead and Mangalsutra around her neck

'But it's his land, he has the right to know...' Ananya argued

'We have invested almost half of the stakes of the company to build our office there ! And the construction was started with Mr. Murthy's consent, why is he having issues now, when the building is almost complete...' Rishi exclaimed

'You guys are the tenants, not the owner, Mr. Narayan is the owner, so he can do whatever he wants, it is his land afterall...' Ananya said

'We can't demolish the entire construction...' Rishi said irritated

'You can... I've seen it, it's barely one floor....' Ananya said calmly

'We will not waste our money to get nothing in the end, you tell me what is your client's offer...' Rishi says massaging his temples

'Mr. Narayan wants to increase the rent, he wants 8 lacs per month, and you can keep the office...' Ananya informed and Rishi looks at her shocked

'You've got to be kidding me Madam, because doubling the rent is just ridiculous...' Rishi scoffs

'This is what Mr. Narayan offers, sir...' Ananya says maintaing her professional tone

'We are an emerging firm with limited resources madam lawyer, how can we pay this much rent, when we are not even sure that this will be our gross monthly profit !' Rishi said

'Then vacate the land...' Ananya said and he glared at her

'We refuse your ridiculous offer Ms. Ananya, see you in the court, in 2 weeks...' Rishi said getting up and Ananya sighed

'See you...' Ananya shakes his hands firmly and Rishi leaves the cabin

Oh god, my very first case is happening ! She exclaimed

Ananya and Mrs. Kumar were discussing about her day, when the smart home spoke...

Aayan walks towards Ananya, and slides his arms around her waist and she stiffens...

'Hey you...' Aayan said softly, and pressed his lips on hers giving her a long kiss

Ananya was shocked initially by this, but then she responded too...

Mrs. Kumar silently walked out of the kitchen to check on Amayraa, not disturbing their make out session

As soon as she left, Ananya realised where they were and she pushed Aayan away, who pouts at this...

'Aayan ! Pappy was here...! Oh god... This is so embarassing...' She hid her face with her palms

Aayan too got embarassed, but then looked around, and saw that she was not in the kitchen...

'She is not here... Let's continue...' He says pulling her closer

'Are you crazy...' she pushes him away

'What, why can't I love my wife in my kitchen, this is my house...' Aayan complained

'Baba, these things are not to be done in kitchen...' Mrs. Kumar said entering the kitchen, intentionally not looking at them and Ananya - Aayan leave each other...

'I.. Have to see Amayraa...' Ananya says and literally ran out of the kitchen

'Thanks Pappy...' Aayan said sarcastically and Mrs. Kumar grinned

'Welcome Baba...' Mrs. Kumar teased him

He was about to reply her, but then his phone rang...

'Yes Rishi...' he answered the call, and walked towards his room

'Aayan, that lawyer is crazy, they were asking for 8 lakhs per month rent...! They surely have lost their minds...' Rishi informed

'What do they think ? Am I some magic tree who bears money instead of leaves !' Aayan said irritated

'That's why I rejected the offer...' Rishi said

'Good, very good Rishi...! Our lawyer will crush her in the court, she has no idea what she has gotten herself into...' Aayan smirked

'True... So you will be there in the court...?' Rishi asked

'Naah, I don't have time to entertain that Nair and his good for nothing lawyer, you and Alex take care of it...' Aayan said

'It's Murthy btw...' Rishi chuckled

'Whatever...! Take care of it...' Aayan said and hung up, and walked towards his cupboard to take out his stuff..

'Jai ! What do I do with this boy...? He is committing silly mistakes... He never did this before...' Arjun sighed looking at the files

'Maybe he is worried about something, why don't you talk to him...?' Jai suggested

'Why will he be worried...! He has nothing to worry about ! He is just distracted...' Arjun huffed

'Arjun, Ved is a responsible kid, he never made mistakes before... Maybe something is troubling him...' Jai said

'Since the time his marriage was fixed, he is behaving like this, I think Deepika is his distraction...' Arjun sighs

'But Arjun, it's not like Deepika entered his life now ? She was here before as well, as Ananya's best friend, he was not distracted then...' Jai said

'Why is he behaving like me...?' Arjun sighed

'Like you...?' Jai asked

'Yes, he is behaving like me, when I was under that bitch Priya's influence, Even I was like the way, he is now...' Arjun said sadly

'Arjun, Deepika is not Priya... And she is certainly not the reason behind Ved's behaviour... Just talk to him...' Jai said patting his shoulder and Arjun  nodded

Ved's room...

Ved was sitting on the recliner's chair, massaging his temples and Deepika was massaging his shoulders

'Ved relax, everything will be fine...' She said

'Nothing will be fine Deepika, I made a mistake again...! This is my third stupid mistake this month...! Papa will be so angry...' Ved sighed

'Why don't you tell him about your writing thing...?' Deepika suggests and Ved sighs in frustration

'Stop it Deepika ! We've talked about this earlier... I am not saying anything to Papa about anything..' Ved says angrily

'But Ved he will...' Deepika began, but then stopped seeing Arjun standing behind Ved

'Tell to papa about what...?' Arjun asked and Ved stiffened

He slowly turned back, and saw Arjun looking at both of them intently

'Wo Papa...' Ved began

'Papa, Ved wants to say something to you...' Deepika intervenes in between, and Ved glares at her

'Is everything alright son...?' Arjun asks

'Everything is fine Papa, don't listen to her...' Ved says

'No Dad, he really wants to...' Deepika began but Ved stops her

'Enough Deepika, I need to talk to Papa, you go and study, you have a test tomorrow...' Ved scolds her and she sighs, leaving the room

Arjun looks at her leaving the room and then at Ved, who looked uncomfortable now

'Is there anything you want to say son...?' Arjun asked softly

'No Papa, nothing...' Ved replies instantly

'You sure beta...? See you can share with me... Anything that is bothering you, must be addressed quickly... Tell me...' Arjun says

Ved looks at him hesitantly, he wanted to say a lot of things, but then drops the idea, thinking about the possible consequences...

'It's nothing Papa...' Ved smiles and Arjun sighs

'Okay... So don't worry about today's mistake, it was a minor one, but if you need help with anything, tell me okay, I am here for you...' Arjun smiled patting his shoulder

'Yes... Yes Papa...' Ved smiles faintly and Arjun leaves the room

Aayan and Ananya were lying on the bed, kissing each other passionately...

Aayan's hands were wrapped around her waist and her arms were snaked around his shoulders, holding each other tightly

'Wait wait, I have to check the mail...' Ananya leaves Aayan and turns around to take her phone..

Aayan stops her in between, and pulls her closer to him...

'Hey, no work discussions on my bed alright....' He warns her and she narrows her eyes at him

'What about the call you received 10 mins ago...?' Ananya asks

'That wasn't work...! It was Alex, he is my friend...' Aayan grinned and pecked her nose and she hits him

'Very smart...' she huffs and he kisses her cheeks

'By the way, mom visited me today...' He informs Ananya and she looks at him shocked

'Priyanka mom...?' she asked

'No silly, your mom...' Aayan said

'What...! Maa was here...! When...? Where is she now...? Why didn't she visit me...?' Ananya shot questions at him

'She was here to take you away from me...' Aayan sighed and Ananya looks at him shocked..

'What...!' She exclaimed and Aayan narrated the whole incident to her

'So she knows everything about us... How will I face her...' Ananya says scared..

'She has given me another chance to make everything okay, or else she will take you away from me...' Aayan said, fear visible in his voice

Ananya caresses his face and kisses his forehead...

'Don't worry, she won't...' She smiled and Aayan kissed her lips once again...

They part for breath, and then Ananya realises something

'You have cameras in the house...! Why...?' She asked suspiciously

'Don't get creeped out, it was to keep an eye on Amayraa...' he rolls his eyes

'How many are there...?' she asked

'2 in the living room, 1 outside the house and 1 in Amyraa's room...' Aayan said

'Okay...!' Ananya said

'Don't worry, we will make out in camera's blind spot...' He winked at her and she hits him..

'I hope there is no camera in here...' Ananya looks around the room and he laughs

'No, this room is full of cameras you see...' Aayan teased and she narrows her eyes at him

'Recording things without consent is a crime, you know that right...?' Ananya warns 

'I loooveeee when you talk legal to me...' Aayan says seductively

'Shut up...' She hits him again

'Come here you...' he pulls her closer and turns off the night lamp..
