[Location: Ship; POV: ???]

Today is the day mommy and I get to go see her friend! We usually leave the kingdom because someone has to protect it which is the job of my family.

To protect the kingdom and current ruler but to protect her my family convinced her that staying in the kingdom wasn't necessarily safe for her since the bad people knew she was there all the time. But since the queen was convinced she left the kingdom for the distant land known as Remnant.

I don't know if I should mention this or not since mommy told me to keep it a secret but mommy told me that the queen is infact the friend that we are going to meet.

I've heard tales of the queen when it came to battle. I heard she fought with a scythe and was capable of beating the bad guys with just a glare. My mommy even showed me a video of one her battles with the creatures of shadows.

The queen wore a white cape to keep her identity hidden. Only the people of my family has seen what she looks like as she trusts us dearly. But back to what I was saying there was a sea of shadow monsters and all that stood in their way was our Queen.

And as soon as they got close to her they disappeared just as fast in a flash of blinding light.

Oh I feel so embarrassed! I never even told you my name yet!

Well anyway my name is-

???: Ignis!

Huh?! Looks like we've arrived since mommy is calling me.

But yeah my name is Ignis Scientia and my dream is to become a guard to the queen!

I soon dash out of the living quarters of the ship and started heading to where my mommy was.

Me: Coming mommy!

But I then realize that I forgot my glasses so I rushed back into our room, put on my glasses, and took a look in the mirror to make sure that I don't look like a mess

I then run back out and met up with my mom

Mom: *giggle* Someone's awfully in a hurry

I then turn to my mom and smile

Me: Sure am mommy I can't wait to meet the Quee- I mean your friend!

I really can't wait to meet mommy's old friend from her days at Beacon but from what I heard is that mommy's friend has a daughter of her own about the same age as me so I can't wait to make a new friend.

Mom: We're here

I see that we have finally arrived to the island of Patch and I can see a woman in white with a little girl right next to her at the docks.

The little girl looked like a carbon copy of her mother only difference there was were the facts of her hair being shorter and she wore red instead of white, she even has her own little cloak which makes her look adorable. She then clung to her mother's leg and attempted to hide behind it thus making my heart momentarily stop

???: Mommy who are those people

She then tries to shy away into her mother's leg even more as her mother pats her head to reassure her

I then took a good look at her mother and realized this was mommy's friend and our Queen

Summer Rose

Summer: It's okay Ruby this is mommy's friend and her son

Summer then gave the now named Ruby a kind smile as Ruby begins to come out of hiding behind her mother's leg though she was still shy but hey progress.

My mom and I soon began to walk off the boat and towards the two

And as soon as we got off the boat I ran up to Ruby while our mothers began to chat.

Ruby: Hello there my name is Ruby Rose

She has her arm outstretched waiting for me to shake her hand. I can't help but smile as I look at her silver eyes

Me: Nice to meet you Ruby. My name is Ignis Scientia.

That's a wrap everyone I promised you all this would get released before September and I really appreciate all of your patience it's just a shame because I wish I could make this sooner but shit has been happening with family.

Infact I was supposed to work on this chapter a couple days back but like I made a post on how life just wouldn't give me a break when it came to being attacked by a swarm of bees to my bitch of an aunt.

But today got worst since my dad is now back in jail and it's all my aunt's fault, he did nothing wrong but since he was on tether if the cops got called even if he wasn't involved or not they still would've taken him

But besides the depressing news I have finally got an upgrade of what I look like now.
