[???'s POV Age 4]

I can't wait to meet mommy's old friend from her days at Beacon but from what I heard is that mommy's friend has a daughter of her own about the same age as me so I can't wait to make a new friend.

Mom: We're here

I see that we have finally arrived to the island of Patch and I can see a woman in white with a little girl right next to her at the docks.

As soon as we got off the boat I ran up to the girl while our mothers began to chat.

???: Hello there my name is Ruby Rose

She has her arm outstretched waiting for me to shake her hand. I can't help but smile as I look at her silver eyes

Me: Nice to meet you Ruby. My name is Ignis Scientia

[Major Timeskip]

Before she could stomp my head into oblivion I roll out of the way and on one knee while showing her the one thing that she fears besides a silver eyed warrior.

A ring

But not just any ring but the ring of the royal silver eyes

Me: This world means nothing to me. Do with it as you wish.

She gives me a look of surprise and fear

S: ...Where did you get that?

Me: But I refuse to let Ruby sacrifice her life just to save ours. I won't let you take her away! Even if it costs my own life to save her...I WILL PAY THAT PRICE!

I place the ring onto my left middle finger as my head begins to feel like it's about to split in two. I gripped my hands onto my head and begin to scream from the pain

Me: GRAAAAAAH

She then looks at me in a condescending way even though I can feel the fear radiating off her

S: Take care not to hurt yourself.

I try to not lose myself to the ring but I'm slipping and I feel like I'm burning away...

That is until I remembered when I first met Ruby...

I then open my eyes as silver fire comes out of my eyes and I shout the one thing keeping me together

Me: RUBY!

I look at my hand and then to the enemy that's in front of me
