We always sit were we usaully sit. But there was an empty spot since china wasn't here. I wondered what the real reason is she didnt want to come. Maybe, she needed rest? Probably not. Clare is so smart, but she couldn't stand school anymore so she dropped out and works at a minimum wage job to help her Dad with everything. Doesn't seem like her to not come with us though, she always wanted to come with us to make sure we were okay. Our number one rule is to always stick toghter--and dont get caught of course. But mostly stick together, we are a pack.

"What ya thinkin' ?" Elijah asked me, he was next to me with his arms around me.

"Things." I replied.

"Oh, what are those things?"

"Nothing really, just thoughts I get once in a while."

"Oh okay." Eljah said.

"Foods on me." Braden smiled leaning on his chair, "Why can you get me some water?" Braden asked lexi.

"Why always me?"

"Because. You are special."

"Yea thats probably the reason." Lexi said sarcastically. Lexi gets up and gets braden water.

"Thanks."

"No problem." Lexi sat back down. Everyone got a little drink, braden paid for it, didnt cost much though so it was all good.

"Girls can you go over there?" Finn said pointing at these other chairs across the room.

"Why?" I asked.

"Guy stuff." The girls sighed.

"Stay out of trouble.'' Andy said kissing Finn on the forhead. The guys nodded. We went and sat this other place.

"What do you think they are talking about?" Lexi asks.

"I dont know. Probably something bad." I add.

"We have done bad things together, why don't they want us to know?'' Andy says.

"Because we are girls?" I guess.

"Ill ask braden later." Lexi said. I sigh and look at my glass of water, sometimes the guys dont trust us, but I dont fucking care.

I turn and look at the boys again,  I see finn talking to a girl--a soc--I look at andy. Andy looked over finn she was focused on finn like she was trying to see what they were talking about. Finn always talked to many girls even socs, but socs would never really want to talk to him, andy never really minded. I use to like Finn, I guess Andy got him first, but im pretty lucky to have elijah. Nothing can beat elijah.

I snap out of my day dreams and sigh, "We leaving already?" I ask.

"No, elijah got in a fight." Lexi informed me

"With who?" I ask.

"Go check for yourself." Lexi says, I stand up lexi leads me to the fight.

"Denis!" I yell shocked. Denis looks over to me, he looks so different, its only been a few days since he has been gone, the thought of him made me mad, we accepted him into out group, he took that to advantage. I look over to sketch, they were punching eachother with people watching, it was usual for a fight to be going on but elijah hated going into fights. Which was kind of ironic.

"Elijah!" I yell. He looks at me and stops, but then denis gets a clear shot and punches him. He falls to the floor and I run to him. That was all my fault, "What the f*ck!" I look at elijah then at denis's cold eyes. Denis.  Trouble from the start, but somehow he stole Tabitha's heart, Tabitha was like a little puppy that loved everyone, trusted everyone, and saw good in people. Maybe she saw something good in Denis, I doubt it, he is a jerk. He was a jerk to Tabitha too, I think I haven't heard a part of the story. Too many parts have gone missin'

I go on my knees near Elijah, "What happened to you?" I ask Denis, looking at him.

"Nothin' people change."

"Not this much." I look back at elijah he was awake just a little scar across his forhead which made him look tougher than he already is.

"Im okay." Elijah says and I help him get up. I turn to look at denis but he disappeared, I wanted to talk to him. Ask him what happened, what really happened. . .

"He's gone." Sketch's voice sounded unsteady

"Yea I know." I sigh.

"Now tell me what happened!" I demand, I just needed answers but I knew I couldn't get them all.

"I don't know. He came up to me and started fighting me." Sketch explains.

"Oh, that's all?" I doubt that was all.

"I bet someone payed him too. Nowadays people would do anything to get a little payment." He continues. I nod, that was true.

"Probably." We get back inside, "Im going to call this a night. Cmon Elijah." I tell everyone. I say my goodbyes to everyone. We walk to Elijah's car, he didn't have those cool nice fancy cars like he always wanted. Whenever we saw a fancy car that's when we new there was Socs in it. The car ride was silent, I was just looking outside the window.

"What's wrong?" Elijah finally breaks the silence.

"I just want answers."

"I do too, but we know we won't get them."

There was a moment of silence.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"I am over here whining but I know you have it worse."

"It's okay, there is always someone out there that has it worse. It's sad once you think about it." Elijah kept his head straight on the road, not looking at me once. He was touchy about this subject. He had it worse because his Dad abused his mom till one day his dad hit him which finally gave his mother power to kick him out. But his mother had it rough, them two had it rough, always paying bills late, Elijah always getting bad grades and smoking. I couldn't help him, so hard i try I couldn't. I could only comfort him. The car stops and I realize I was at my small house, it's time to suck it up. It's time to pretend I love my life, I didn't want my parents to worry about me. I step out Elijah's car.

"Thanks." I tell him he nods. I go inside, it wasnt that late, but the fact that I had school tomorrow was worse. I didn't mind school, but Elijah hated it. He always got into trouble at school, and somehow for some reason I always got into his mess. I always took his side, got me in trouble too. . .but I couldn't help it. I always feel the guilt people have when they do something wrong even tough it's not my fault, I was just like that. He onced considered dropping out but I convinced him to keep trying. I cared for him lots, maybe too much. . .
