angeline is someone who is quite often underestimated because she's so quiet and withdrawn. most people would assume she's either shy or boring, but it's quite the opposite. yes, angeline chooses to stay quiet around most people in her life, but that's simply because it's her choice. she doesn't see a point in having to prove herself as the perfect social daughter of a wealthy family. she can play the role, but she'll do so quietly. most people think angeline's real personality is bland, but it's quite the opposite. if angie actually approves of you enough to open up and talk to you, you'll find her wit rather quick and her intelligence sharp as ever. she may not speak often, but her mind is often running wild with internal dialogue and day dreams. she thinks vividly, but chooses not to verbalize most of it. she just expects the worst out of most people, so she doesn't really try around them. when she does try, she's perfectly comfortable with engaging conversation. if you prove to be interesting enough, you might even earn a smile and a joke. it's all a surprise with angeline.

well, angie's two main skills would probably be her intelligence and her acting ability. angeline has always been a smart girl. she went through books at the speed of light and had the best tutors as a child. the girl may not seem in outwardly, but she's rather bright with quite a lot of potential. and back to the second one, acting. it seems like angeline constantly has on a mask. she pretends to be less than she is for some reason. she acts like she's just the proper and quiet daughter of a wealth man. it's as if she likes people underestimating her so eventually it's that much more satisfying when she proves them wrong.

↬ flaws

she's a rather judgmental girl. you know the saying don't judge a book by its cover? yeah, she doesn't really follow that. first impressions are everything with angeline. she doesn't believe people will change from how she first sees them. angeline's second flaw would be deception. yes, she doesn't have much of a problem lying or tricking people subtly, so to some people that makes her untrustworthy. third, she pushes people away. she's always felt like an isolated girl, and she feels slightly afraid (though she would never admit it) to change that about herself. and lastly, you could've probably guessed it, but angeline absolutely hates change. she likes things being constant in her life.

angeline has a rather large family with four daughters and one son. angie also has one childhood best friend named heather that seems to be one of the only people who have broken through her mask. other than that, angeline is a rather quiet and mysterious person to others.

↬ backstory

angeline is the thirdborn child of arthur cordova, a wealthy man most commonly known for one of the most profitable trading companies in europe. angeline has one older sister (lucille), and older brother (james), and three younger sisters (the triplets: nancy, sabrina, and juliana). growing up as one of the middle children in a large family like that, angeline tended to blend in. she kept to herself mostly. she just became the idea of a perfect, and quiet daughter. she was taught by the best tutors from everything ranging from science to etiquette. while her eldest sister tended to rebel against being a proper lady, angeline was seen in the eyes of her parents as the perfect quiet daughter. so she was taken to all the social events and parties, loving the life of wealth and luxury, socializing with high society (though most of the time she let others do the socializing). while the home office of their father's trading company was previously in paris, suddenly arthur decided to up and move his family to england. this leads us to our scenario!

nothing other to say that, yes i am aware that she seems like a rather cliche character. i swear she's not! she sounds a bit bland on paper, but in my head she's okay, it's just gonna have to be shown in the roleplay. i swear it won't be boring for the scenario since the mask will give her a bit more boldness to be interesting and talkative!
