Nothing beats the tiny smiles of my four-year olds when I saw it the first time I held them in my arms.

Giving birth to these adorable two is pure bliss. I may single-handedly raised them but with the support of my nanny and my parents (upon learning about it), I was able to surpass it all.

I pulled out my planner and checked my schedule for this month. In two weeks time is the fourth birthday of my twins.

I came to know what filled up my week's schedule, meetings and conferences.

Recently, I was appointed as secretary of my boss in the resort I was working at. Villa Austria is a paradise on land. It was owned by my bestfriend's fiance and together with his brother, Park So Min, was able to raise the profit of it by introducing calibre textiles into its suites and function rooms.

Another thing that contributed to its wonderful creation was its majestic view of the sunrise on its long row of VIP suites.

Yes, the hotel scouted a long queue of VIP suites arranged perfectly to have a great view of the sun, sky and sea.

Even after the summer season, most of its VIP suites are fully booked.

I must say, the Korean duo, knows their way in the business. They carefully planned with their friendly architect the layout of the vast resort and opted to branch out across the country in two years time.

Being a secretary of a business tycoon is a tough job alongside being a mom to my handful two.

Gratefully, my boss, Mr. Klaus Lim knows about my situation as a single mother so during our unexpected moments, I was able to take a couple of leaves. Being a family man himself, he knows how important my children are to me.

"Good morning, Mr. Lim." I greeted him as I bowed and entered our office.

My table is adjacent to his. A plain black modern divider was placed between us for privacy aside from his glass sliding door. All he needs to do to call my attention is to press the intercom and if there are urgent meetings to be taken care of, he will just close the sliding door to address the concern.

"What's my schedule today, Olive?" Mr. Lim asked in a cheerful voice.

"You have a meeting with Ms. Cassandra Torres at 2:00 in the afternoon and a video conference with our Singaporean client, Mr. Guanzon." I said and smiled when I discussed his schedule.

He nodded when I was finished and returned to my table.

I started to answer queries over telephone calls from our departmental heads in the resort.

With the payday coming up, I took care of the requisition forms and other documents for his signature.

Lunch time came and I ordered his favourite food from a Chinese restaurant across the street. When the food was delivered at our doorstep, I gave him his food and ate mine on my table.

We have lots to do today since he has a 2:00 meeting and he just got out of a series of video conferences earlier.

"Thank you po sa food, Sir." I said smiling and ate my halo-halo.

Like me, it has become his habit to have desserts after a sumptuous meal. According to him, his stomach always have space for dessert. I laughed at that.

"Para na kitang anak, Oli. So, think of it as a father's fondness over his daughter." Mr. Lim grinned and winked at her. He wiped his mouth with a tissue and threw it in the trash bin under his table.

Even if we're eating on our private spaces, we talk as if we are old family members. Especially during our break time.

Of course, my respect for him is still there. We automatically resume to our work relationship after lunchtime   and whenever a client is around.

"Salamat po, Itay." I joked and I heard him laugh.

"Iidlip lang ako, 'nak. Pakigising ako ng ala-una y media para makapagprepare ako sa meeting ko. Baka hindi na naman ako magising sa alarm." Natatawang banggit ni Mr. Lim.

I laughed remembering the time when I had to attend to someone outside our office and he overslept. I saw him rushing out of our office to head to our conference room for the employees meeting. He was fifteen minutes late.

"Roger that, Sir." I said and stood up to gently close his sliding door and turned off his lights.

Mr. Lim rested his head on his executive chair and went on a nap.

I sighed and alarmed my cellphone for 1pm and 1:20pm.

I had to prepare our conference room at least 30 minutes before the meeting. Had to double check the laptop and foods for the guests and/or employees.

As soon as I had set three alarms for each, I also turned off the lights and closed my eyes to rest.
