I kissed my twins as soon as they saw me and jumped to be carried.

"Maaamaaa.. riii!" Olga wailed and lifted her tiny arms while looking up at me.

Her already round brown eyes grew rounder when she begged to be carried.

"Nooooo..!" Oliver shouted and attempted to slap his sister's hand and raised both his arms as well.

I laughed and sat down to look into my twins' eyes.

"Stop fighting with your sister, Oliver." I said and hugged both of them. "Mommy cannot carry the two of you anymore. You are both big boy and girl."

Olga pouted and crossed her tiny arms in front of me.

Oliver stomped his feet and sat on their soft cot made especially for toddlers.

"Can mommy just hug you both?" I asked sweetly and stretched both my  arms. "Please?"

Olga and Oliver looked at each other and started racing to me, both tiny arms extended out.

"Wuv you, 'my." Oliver said in his tiny, unconstructed sentence. He kissed my  cheeks and I gave him a kiss as well.

"Wuv youuu, 'ma." Olga said almost the same time as Oliver.

I grinned and hugged my children tightly.

As soon as they separated, I suggested snacks and the twins both jumped in excitement.

"Ate Lyn, pasuyo naman po ng high chairs nila Oliver. Salamat po." I asked politely as soon as they stepped in the kitchen.

"Sino may gusto ng pancakes?" I asked cheerfully and both twins raised their hands. "Pancakes coming up!"

While busy with their breakfast, I heard Olga humming a nursery rhyme she knows so well.

Pretty soon, Oliver chimed in and they started singing.

"Johny, Johny, yes papa. Eating sugar, no papa." the twins sang and Oliver tapped his table as they sang their hearts out.

I could only giggle and as soon as I was done, I placed the twins pancake on their tables and got my own as well.

"Ma'am, and'yan po si Sir Kenneth. Hinahanap po kayo." mababang banggit ni Ate Lara sa akin habang pinupunasan ang mga tasa sa lababo.

I sighed and put down my fork.
"Continue eating your food, kids, okay? Saglit lang si mommy. "  I got up and went to the living room.

Kenneth Antonio grinned and patted the seat beside me.

"Howdy, sister." Kenneth said and was about to bent down to kiss my cheek when I moved away my face.

"The hell are you doing here?" I asked and glared furiously at my so-called brother.

"Na-miss lang kita. Ano ka ba." Kenneth smirked and crosssd his legs when he sat down.

"Say what you have to say and get out." I said firmly, ignoring my brother's invitation to sit beside him.

I crossed my arms in front of me and raised an eyebrow.

"I heard, Samuel Nolan is back." Kenneth said and looked directly in my eyes expecting to see me flinch.

My knees started to tremble but steadied myself. I will not display any emotion. I know thats what my brother wanted to see.

"So?" I said while maintaining a straight face and stood my ground.

"Your lover is back. and I presume he is also the father of the twins." Kenneth said, playing on the snowball  sitting on the side table beside him.

I laughed. I even clapped my hands as I laughed harder.

"What made you think that he is the father? I don't even know him!" I said still laughing and holding my tummy.

"I remember you begging him to take you back years ago but he ignored your desperate cries." Kenneth said as a matter of fact, emphasizing every word he said.

I wiped my tears and calmed myself . "I don't know kung ano pinupunto mo at talagang sinadya mo pa ako dito sa bahay habang masaya kaming nag-aalmusal ng mga anak ko." I  sighed and continued. "Anyway, thank you sa effort but I honestly don't care. You said your piece so you may go."

Kenneth stood up and placed his hands on his side pockets and stared at her. "Don't be naive, my precious sister. You know very well what I meant. Your boyfriend is back. And soon, your children may be gone." He winked and stepped out. "If you need my help, let me know. You know where to find me."

My knees wobbled and my eyes filled with tears as I sat down on the floor.
