I walk down the ramp to Charlestown.There was a lot of screaming but,you could maybe hear if your lucky a little bit of cheering in the distance.I was arriving to England with my father.He is general Cornwallis he has come to the small colonies because of there desire for "independence".As they call it.These crazy patriots.I walk down then I see this man with slick back hair in a normal low pony tail.He was good looking I do say.However it's not all about looks.He then lays out his hand to help me down the step to the port.I take it gently then he drops his hand.My father then says "Scarlet this is Mr.Tavington he is here to help fight the patriots".I nod then look back to him.I then nod and my father was still looking at Mr.Tavington.I could tell father was not super thrilled about it.I look back at Mr.Tavington.Even though he has not said a word I started to grow close to this man.Then I heard a loud scream.I jump then I feel a pain in my stomach.I fall to the ground and all I think of now is "Is someone going to save me"?
