Chapter Four: Scream

Sapphira didn't know how she ended up like this. One minute she was out in the woods outside the Chateau with Fae in her bag as the others stayed at base, now here she was, in the basement of her grandmother's home, trapped and with Fae and Click-the Scarabax Beetle snuck into her bag to keep an eye on her-by her side as her grandmother made sure she stayed down there as she waited for Sapphira's friends to come and save her to kill them each.

Sapphira knew the bitter women that was her grandmother knew nothing of what her friends and boyfriend really were, but she was still worried for them along for Click and Fae. The women wasn't going to take no for answer and was willing to break more laws than she already had to get what she wanted.

Sapphira held Fae in her arms as Click was in between the two, Sapphira had her body wedged between the concrete wall and several boxes. Her breathing was sharp and shallow but that came with her wounds that decorated her person, slowly bleeding cuts and bruises which had their own bruises, hell, Sapphira felt like she had a broken rib in the list of injuries she had from Agatha tormenting her for her runway and to keep Fae and Click from being hurt.

Sapphira let out a raspy cough, her body shaking as she coughed from her injuries weakening her. Sapphira wished she knew how to get her powers in more control so she could at the very least try to contact Mata Nui of where she was and her condition, she even wished she could manage to contact her aunt somehow to save her.

But for once in her life, Sapphira felt lost and hopeless. Defeated.

Sapphira shook her head of the back dots in her vision, trying to stay awake, she knew the do's and don't's when it came to her grandmother's torment like this. But she hoped her friends and Mata Nui were coming to save her, she knew they would. They love and care for her, they had to.

Sapphira looked down at Fae and Click in her arms that gave her nothing but worry and concern for their friend. Sapphira gave the two a thin and weak smile, "Don't worry, I'll be fine." Sapphira lied, trying to ease their worries. The two knew she wasn't and she was lying to keep them calm, Click had already heard this before when Gresh tried to push the other's worries when they found him in the ruins of Tajun and Fae knew Sapphira since she was a child when her parents were still around.

Click suddenly froze as he listened closely, which made Sapphira and Fae confused. He then clicked his pinchers together as he spoke. From the amount of times Sapphira had been around the Scarabax Beetle, she could easily understand what he was saying.

"Their here?" She asked him quietly in shock. He nodded rapidly at the human girl making her smile in relief, which then quickly faded as it came as she realized that they didn't know where she and the two companions were at.

"Eevee..." Sapphira looked down at Fae who gave her a look of worry, Sapphira smiled softly as she kissed the Eevee's temple and did the same for Click, being mindful of his size. "I know how to help them find us, but I know for a fact Agatha is gonna be pissed of it." Sapphira told them as she heard the others above her as they interrogated her grandmother.

Sapphira took a deep breath, and with all her might and past her lungs limits. "MATA NUI!"

"MATA NUI!" The said Great Spirit and the Glatorian froze at that all to familiar scream to them. "SAPPHIRA!" In a blink of an eye, Mata Nui rushed to the source of Sapphira's scream.

Finding a locked door, Mata Nui gave a growl as he kicked it down and rushed down the staircase into the basement. Sapphira nudged the boxes a bit as she maneuvered her person from hiding seeing the gold armor bot rushing into the basement.

"Mata Nui!" Sapphira cried happily, Fae leaving the woman's arms with Click on her head as Mata Nui's eyes caught the sight of blue-ette and widened, slight tears of relief glossing his aqua eyes. "Sapphira!" Mata Nui cried happily as he rushed to the woman, rushing to his knees as he inspected her injuries.

A tear escaped his eye which Sapphira carefully brought a hand up and brushed it away, Mata Nui held her hand in his as he cradled the side of her face in his others hand, Sapphira melting in his touch as a soft smile painted her lips making Mata Nui smile softly in return seeing her alive.

Sapphira's eyes suddenly widened as she pushed Mata Nui down.

BANG

Sapphira let out a scream as some blood fell from her mouth, a bullet embedding itself into her left shoulder near her neck as she shielded Mata Nui from the bullet shot.

Mata Nui's eyes were wide at the sight of her bleeding wound, the blood slowly spilling past Sapphira's lips, but her eyes gave off a dark purple flame from them as her lips were painted into a snarl, were the most shocking thing.

"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HIM AGATHA!"
